I really want to give them a shout out! Curtis & Zack came…read moreout to bid installing A/C for me. They were more prompt than I am (and that's saying something!!) The company has a GREAT system of communicating, they sent a text when they were en route including a photo of Zack so I knew who would be knocking on my door. Curtis and Zack took so much time sharing knowledge and answering questions, not once did I feel rushed. We talked at length about various options for both a whole home HVAC and Multi Zone Mini Splits. I really appreciate the education from these two EXPERTS, it has made me much more confident in making my decision on such a big investment. Thanks for everything!! +

I called the Air Ducto℞ and Jimmy - outstanding technician - fit me in ASAP Even with the roasting temperatures, Jimmy was kind and compassionate about my situation. He climbed to my roof and discovered that last night's 45 mph winds had plucked the access door from the swamp cooler, allowing all that outside heat to be blown straight indoors Oh, what relief It is amazing how marvelous 91°F feels, compared to the, now, outside 108°F I am so grateful to be benefiting from their money-saving Subscriber Plan! The staff here like to pick on him the week of opponents or the week of victims that being the women of the center and the women staff picking and choosing who they want to believe The upper tier and higher staff like the coordinators the males they're very crazy and explode randomly on everybody, they put leader ship in fear of rules on you or they kick you to the curb and kick you out. They let men stay there, which I think is very unfair to the women that have gone through domestic violence. I don't recommend this place to anybody unless you're looking for a temporary spot and good luck leaving immediately because they will just restrain you from doing so unless you have family support system for anybody to turn to they will keep you there at your will take you to the curb because you're feeling like you're being antagonized or picked apart, or in my case you were feeling like you were being picked on! This place isn't safe they've had Covid multiple times and they say they can't disclose that to the people that stay there when a person has Covid because of the CDC guidelines we all know that's not true you can disclose if someone has Covid so you can securely make everybody safe and feel the need to distance themselves.

They asked me if I would be willing to attend classes and become a volunteer. I was thrilled. I had friends from my home town, in the Kern River Valley, that were affiliated with this organization. One was an employee. The other friend worked for the county and she had been volunteering for High Desert Women's Center for many years. I did miss a few classes, but these ladies were more than willing to provide make ups for me, perhaps because I was respectful and courteous about it. The program does last for a couple of months, and these women go 'all out' to give the best education that they could. We attended mock trials, played games. I won one game. It had 8 pictures and it listed their crimes. You had to match the crime to the faces. LOL. We had the opportunity to participate in many fundraisers and events in our little community. The ladies took us on field trips to the hospital, police station and sheriff station, as well as the courthouse. We had speakers from the courts and the law enforcement agencies, and from Fleet and Family Services. A local Therapist came in and educated us about the different types of people we'd come across and 'how to gain empathy for them'. I was very interested to discover the diversity of these valient group of volunteers. The shelter is lovely and a wonderful place to be in transition. Having a history, myself, of being a domestic Violence victim in the 90s, I found this place and these women a miracle in action. In the 90s, the courts and law enforcement were not interested in helping victims. This shelter has a close relationship with Law Enforcement and has educated them, as well. Many Law Enforcement officers in this community now volunteer their time, as well. There is even one law enforcement officer that became one because of this organization. That I find wonderful because in the 90s, Law Enforcement was not kind to victims. I have read the review from Sarah. I cannot agree. If I did, I would be lying. On a scale of 1-10, I rate this company 10!
