I've been to many laundry mats and this one is a good one. The staff were helpful and polite. I had a dryer that was only blowing room temperature air, they gave me a refund for the cost and were very helpful. The machines are not so new but most of them are working. The facility is clean and kept up. The parking lot is pretty small and so are the parking spaces so if you're driving an RV or super duty truck you might want to try parking on the side of the road. They don't use coins so you must purchase a card for $5 and add money to it. They will however give you your $5 back upon returning the card which is nice. The prices for using the machines are average also. all in all its a nice small town laundry mat that I will return to when I'm back in the area. read more

We are full time RVers and while we have a washer in our rig, sometimes you wanna knock out the laundry in a shorter time. We happened to be in the area to go to an appointment at the Ford dealership in town. We're staying at the Marriott but here is only 1 washer and 1 dyer there. We go to lots of these types of places and a few things really stand out about this one. Here is what worked for us: ‐----------------------------------------------- Clean. Floors, counters The top loader washers looked clean too. Attendant on duty helped me get the pay card and showed me how to use it. Parking is easy. We have an F450 dually and it's hippy. They have a good number of baskets too It looks like they have an area for folks who require lowered tables to fold their clothes. So like wheel chair accessibility. First time I've ever seen that. They get an extra star for that! What did not work: ------------------------------ Way too many washers and dryers aren't working. I'm not a fan of the pay card thing. Would prefer PayRange. Not sure how well they clean/service the washers. I had residue all over my dark clothes. In my experience when people put too much laundry detergent/fabric softener in their clothes, it just leaves residue for the next person if the washers aren't cleaned/ serviced in between. Most of my adult life I've had a washer in my home so using facilities like this has been an adjustment. This was a pleasant experience as these things go. I would like to start this review by saying that I have been coming to this laundromat for 5+ years and never have I had an experience like the one I am about to discuss. Yesterday was an extremely hot, triple digit day. I live 20+ miles away, so I waited until sunset to head to i-wash, something I do often during the summer. When I arrived, it was 5 minutes past the last loading time, but I asked the new attendant, Vanessa, if it was okay to start my laundry and explained my situation. She agreed to allow me to do my laundry, as long as I am out by closing time which is 9. I thanked her and courteously used the "quick wash" setting, which takes 26 minutes. I had plenty of time to wash and dry my clothes. She then stated she doesn't get paid overtime, I thought it was strange to tell a customer that, especially when I already promised to finish before closing, I brushed the comment off. While my laundry was in the wash I waited outside as Vanessa mopped the floors. She used baskets to block off isles, which I have never seen anyone do before, but I understand. When it was time to dry my clothes, I reentered and did my best to work my way around the ever changing maze, trying not to ruin the freshly mopped floors. I stood at the dryers monitoring my belongings. Vanessa came by three separate times to tell me how many minutes I had remaining. By the third time I was beginning to feel uncomfortable. I am an adult and a paying customer at that, and I don't need someone to constantly remind me what time it is. I felt rushed and Vanessa seemed more irritated and rude as time passed. There were two other customers in the building who were also waiting for their clothes to dry, and they too seemed rather annoyed by her nagging. By 8:55, I had all of my belongings in a basket, headed for the exit. When I approached the exit, there were several baskets blocking my way. I started to put the baskets in their place, thinking I was doing Vanessa a favor. At that moment, she began yelling at me from behind the counter, claiming she told me to go around the baskets, which was impossible without going all the way around the laundromat. Alarmed and appalled, I looked at Vanessa and calmly told her that if she hates her job, she should probably look for a new one. She replied "Actually, I don't hate my job. I hate people who come in late knowing we close at 9." I am still in disbelief that anyone would think it's okay to speak to a loyal customer that way. I wanted to call and complain but I know that will probably get me nowhere so I am writing this in hopes that something will be done about this. The staff at our hotel told us this would be the best laundromat to use and fortunately it was only about a mile away. We had our bag of quarters but this facility uses a debit card system. It confused the heck out of me but the nice gal behind the counter patiently explained it to my husband and got us all squared away. I believe it was $2 for a wash and a little less than that for a dry. My son appreciated that they had a little play area and in less than two hours we had clean, dry clothes once again! Half the machines are out of order. I came to wash a king size comforter which only fits in the "giant" washers. The wash cycle for those washers start at around $6. Brought my 2 year old, but was concerned that the play area hadn't been cleaned in years. Dryer cycle was $2.25. Gave an extra star because the staff is friendly. With limited laundromat options in town you'd think the facilities would generate enough money to be maintained, but that doesn't seem to be the case for this location. read more

I wasn't a huge fan of the laundry card, but thinking about it, I'd rather have that, as opposed to carrying a big roll of quarters. They have two places on the wall to get and reload the laundry card and even gives you anywhere from 50cents to a dollar, depending on if you put $10 or $20 on the card. When I first started bring our laundry here, I noticed quite a few of the inexpensive washers had 'currently not working' signs on them, but finally fixed a good chunk of them. Washing clothes can definitely get expensive, depending on what you're washing. And there are restrictions on what you can and can't wash on the machines. I've never really had a problem with getting a machine, but have realized the best time to go is probably around 2 pm during the week day. While you're waiting for your clothes to get done, there's a magazine rack near the door, as well as a few tables and benches and even a kid's section(with toys and a small table). There is also a computer you can take advantage of but for a small fee...same with the wi-fi. Overall, this laundromat is pretty clean and easy to use! read more

I was just traveling thru for work and finally had to do laundry. This laundromat uses a chipped card system that you get from a machine and have to put 2$ deposit on. Dryers were .75 for 15 min and some of my cotton was still damp on a small load. It may be worth it if you live in area but if you have any money left on card when you return it (I had a dollar) you don't get it back. Just the deposit. When I was in the Ridgecrest area I was working extremely long hours, 7 days a week. I had zero time to do laundry. Thankfully a guy at work found this amazing laundry facility. Due to their long hours I could simply drop off my laundry after work, and pick up the next day. They were very quick to finish the laundry, and really nice people! Nice enough place. Have to buy a two dollar card in order to do laundry but its refundable when you're done. The cost per regular washer is $1.75 which is more than the place a few of my friends went but it's not breaking the bank. The dryers cost 75 cents a load and work ok if you use the new dryers. Great for travelers! Wifi, dog friendly and helpful staff. Yes the card is $2 but you can return it at the end for your $2 back. Everything seems relatively new and the card system is better than fumbling with coins. Other pluses are great work areas with outlets and not having to leave our well behaved dog in the car.
