Have had several bad experiences, but they are the only dry cleaners in town. I have had buttons on expensive shirts and coats crushed or ripped off. I got my son's shirt for prom back with an iron burn on the back. And they don't take responsibility for any of it. Just a heads up. If you're looking for a dry cleaner, heed the bad reviews and do not go to Ridgecrest Cleaners. I wish I'd listened to the reviews, but I thought I just need a few things washed, what could go wrong? I brought in 3 pairs of kid swim trunks and a swim shirt that had tar on them from the beach, plus one hoodie that had a stain on the back. I asked her if she could get the tar out and she said yes, they'd get it out. The sweatshirt she wasn't sure about. She asked me to pay up front, which I thought was odd, but I did. I thought she was being weird about it, but I assumed I was imagining it. Today I picked them up. The swim stuff looked exactly like it did when I dropped it off. I definitely could have done better at home. The only reason I think they did anything at all is because the sweatshirt was WORSE than I left it. The stain that was on the back is now bigger and on the FRONT as well! When I pointed this out, she said it was like that when I dropped it off. When I said she said they'd be able to get the tar out, she said repeatedly "no, we never say we can get stains out, look it says on your receipt, just wash." The customer picking up her clothes in front of me paid at pickup, leading me to believe that the owner KNEW she wasn't going to do what she said she would and she knew I would never pay for that, but if I paid up front she could refuse to refund me and lie about her assurances to my face. She is deceitful and absolutely shameless about it. I'm mad enough to go to small claims about it, but it just doesn't make sense for this much money, and that's why they keep getting away with this. I've patronized this cleaners a few times. This last time I clearly stated, restated, and even showed the stain on my white dress shirt so they could remove it. Later, at home I noticed the stain was still there. A lighter shade now, but still present. This is totally unacceptable service. Time to try another establishment. read more

This individual worked extra hours, always ensured my order was correct, and was really good at customer service! Now she's un-employed and has a baby on the way. I have 2 100% wool rugs with matching runners. I was getting ready to move into my new home and wanted them cleaned. I took them in and was assured they would be cleaned. This was in February 2018. I finally was able to move in on February 27, 2018. Happy!!! Due to medical reasons and time restraints, I was able to finally to put down my cream color rug with beautiful, simple flowers, in my living room. I was shocked... It was not clean. Today, January 4, 2020, I went into Ridgecrest Cleaners and explained this situation to the owner. She listened but refused to give me back the $175.00 she charged me. She would not clean them for free, either. I thought that was good for both of us, since she did not do that the first time. She refused. l will not go back. I am very disappointed. I love and trust this cleaners and have been coming here for years since 2008 as a traveling nurse and have never had an unkind word or my clothing messed up. We developed a honest, trusting business relationship around my needs for a good cleaners. Mrs. K has tailored my clothes, hand sewed a heirloom family quilt. I don't care about the price as long as what I asked for can be done correctly. I can ask a question regarding something particular I want done and the owner repeats what I asked for to get an understanding and to make sure she heard me correctly and I heard what I want done to my clothes is really what I want done. Mrs. K has my measurements so I can drop off clothing and it will be tailored to fit. Mostly pants (jeans, slacks and blouses). If it's not perfect and I'm comfortable wearing them, I'm good. Nobody is perfect, Right? The couple that owns the cleaners are very nice people, I enjoy doing business. They work hard. I brought in a comforter I spilled wine on...the other Cleaners was unable to help me in the time I needed it get it cleaned they asked for 2-3 weeks!! First the counter lady was rude. She acted Suspicious when I confirmed that it was my first time to their shop. She said "oh how will I wash this?" about one comforter. BEWARE! When I was 16 years old, I borrowed a yellow suit from a friend so I could drive to Carson City to get married. I returned with lots of stains, including chocolate. I took it to this dry cleaners to be cleaned prior to returning it to my friend. IT CAME BACK DIRTY AND PRESSED. THEY ARGUED THAT I ONLY WANTED IT PRESSED, NOT CLEANED. OMG. They argued and refused to help. The suit was ruined. They would not fix the problem or pay for it. I was devastated. Dropped off a down comforter to be cleaned and they returned it with holes that were not previously there. It is now spilling feathers. The woman working there was argumentative and unhelpful. She told me to just not pick it up. Yeah right lady, that's a $600 blanket you just put holes in, I'm not leaving what's left of it for you to do God knows what with it. I begrudgingly paid to have it back so I could fix it myself since they didn't even offer to fix what they did. She had the nerve to ask me to pay with a debit card instead of my credit card to save herself the processing cost of the the transaction after all of this. read more

The main thing that I am commenting on today is the taylor service that they offer. I had a pair of pants hemmed and when I got them back they were not even the same length...I'm talking at least an inch and a half difference. When I showed the lady behind the desk, she agreed but said she would have to talk to the owners (husband and wife team that used to hire a taylor but decided that they could do it themselves). The next day I stopped by. The lady at the desk said that the owners refused to change the pants and said that they measured and they were the same length! I had been a good customer up until that point but always thought that they were too expensive. I now go elsewhere for tayloring. read more

I took my daughter's prom dress there a couple years ago. They wanted more to clean it than what I had paid for the prom dress. I cleaned it in the shower with cold water gently with some Woolite. It looked beautiful after it dried, and nobody even knew that I hadn't used a professional dry cleaner. Are they the only dry cleaner in town? Is that why they are so expensive? read more
