    I've been coming here for years although I dealing with them during the COVID-19 pandemic was the straw that broke the camels back. Let me start by saying the 2 employees working at the window were very polite and tried their best. This is a case of mismanagement! I came in with a package I had to ship with a pre-paid label. This was for an exchange of a pair of sneakers. The company decided to use USPS for and asked that I get a receipt because they have issues with USPS. You cannot get a receipt for a pre-paid shipment at the self service kiosk according to the maintainance worker cleaning up so I had to wait with 12 people in front of me. Bottom line was I had to wait 40 minutes for a transaction that should not have taken more than 5 minutes even during the pandemic. Once I reached the counter I was done in under a minute. The worst part of this was that they do not have anyone enforcing social distancing or mask wearing which you can see comes up in the other reviews I read on this location. I don't like getting involved although because I was so aggravated I had to tell 2 people to put on their masks. One woman said I was going to put it on. Really? Shouldn't you be wearing it before you enter the business? How stupid are you??? My suggestion is for the US Postal Service to make it so customers with a pre-paid label can get a receipt through the kiosk. Either way it's said to see how poorly our tax dollars are wasted. Poor management, horrible operating and safety procedures. I definitely do not recommend you go here and avoid them at all costs. I will never go back.

    Crazy service

    They scan your mail and put in other peoples postage boxes. And when you try to call them they will not answer their phone number 718-238-0631 very sad performance on the part of these government workers.

    Well, since I'm not in midtown every day these days, it looks like this is becoming my default post office, for the time being. It's easy to get to, and they've got an APC machine, so it's not all bad. It's not all good, either. There's only one APC machine, so if it's not working or out of labels, you're out of luck. There tends to be a long line, and the hours are rather limited. However, all my crap has gotten to its destination, so far, so I'm appreciating this station's existence.     For an organization which exists to deliver mail, they have an unbelievable amount of difficulty reading addresses and delivering mail.

    According to the time on yelp it closes in 10 minutes...i'm here 15 min before closing and they're all locked up. Unreal!

    I think they have their phone off the hook!!!! I've been calling non stop for 1 hour!!! All I get is busy signal!!! Unbelievable!!!!!

Two years ago, she forced me to repack a package (when Sharpie-ing would have sufficed.) Fine. Ruin my day. I work many jobs and need to sell to supplement my income. I avoid confrontation and did what the woman said. Luckily, I was off from my day job that day (February 2017). I am accustomed to her "by-the-book" behavior. I don't know where Joe went, but he was wonderful. Thank god for the other employees, because they will comfort you when DAISY is scolding you for language, packing ability, or whatever else she feels like f***** up your day with. DAISY, people are in the post office for a reason. I respect your position, but get off your high horse. You are making people's lives HARDER. After I leave this post office, I have an hour commute into Manhattan. Thank god for Del Valle. He should be in charge of the entire Postal System. DAISY will make you go home, cancel a pre-paid invoice, and drive you crazy. She will then scold you because she thinks she is your mother. I will be heading to Fort Hamilton to mail future packages.

Mr. Mock, the representative, was rude and dismissive. I specifically requested 3-day shipping, which was significantly cheaper than the 2-day option. However, Mr. Mock refused to listen and charged me for the more expensive 2-day service, claiming the packages would arrive before Monday. Unfortunately, the packages didn't arrive until Monday, and the recipient had even been informed that it would arrive on that day. I'm still trying to understand why I was charged for a service that wasn't delivered as promised. I strongly advise against using this location, and I'm hoping to get a refund for the unnecessary extra charges. I want my money back !!!

    I am quite amazed when I see the sea of negative reviews/comments regarding this Post Office, but I…read morewant to share my amazing experience with the Bath Beach team and in particular the MVP Ruth who went above and beyond with my situation and deserves a promotion there (all the recognition at the very least). Everyone may have different experiences, but hopefully I can at least show that there are good people there. So to preface my story, I had a very expensive laptop being shipped priority mail express to a buyer in North Carolina. I was greeted by Ruth who took my package on the side of the queue (as it was a drop-off) and even went to the front of the line to have a question asked for me (bypassing another customer for a brief moment). Packaged dropped off, scanned, and everything was GUCCI... until a few hours later driving home, I check my emails and come across several emails from the merchant stating that there was an issue and that the purchase was not authorized by the buyer. A surge of emotion hit me, including disbelief, panic, and a good dose of "are you f---ing kidding me". The merchant advises me to go back to the Post Office and track that package down. With no hesitation, I drove back to the office and waved Ruth down and she immediately took me to the back with no questions asked. I told her my situation and she takes it with urgency; she checks to see if the package was still there... She looks at me with a concerned look on her face and I knew it was gone before she had said anything. But without even a pause, she walks over to another member of the team who had worked at the headquarters previously. Ruth had been so amazing and asked all the right people. Before I can even show any distraught or concern, she knew exactly what to do and that time was of the essence. We NEEDED to track that van down. Within a few moments and me writing my information down, I get the good news. The package was intercepted. The driver had found my package and it was just moments away from being sent to the sorting facility which most likely have meant that I was not going to see it. I have never felt so relieved to hear some random guy's name. So now, here at home as I'm typing this on a rainy New York day, I can relax a little bit easier all thanks to Ruth and her team. She has gone above and beyond all of my expectations to help me with my situation. I can't thank her enough. She's always had this amazing energy to her on a normal day and if any of you guys have any problems, she's the one to help you. I'm don't think this review can really express my gratitude enough but I know she had to pull some strings to save me from a $3000+ headache. For everything she's done. I am grateful. Her and her staff work hard and may get a lot of slack for other things, but they are great people.

Also I was here when they opened up in the morning and no one was at the front desk there was a line already forming we heard laughing in the back, the workers were walking by definitely made eye contact, we all said "hello, is anyone going to work here??" a young girl came out to look at her compact mirror & put lipgloss on, I said hi I just need to mail this and get stamps. this lazy bum says "I'm not on duty yet" I said "Oh really, yea that lazy attitude & lip gloss isn't going to help you, girl!" all I gotta say is no wonder, they're cutting federal employees, they need to start with THIS place!
