How come no one reviewed that branch? I used live pretty close to this spot and used to post mails but then moving closer to another USPS location, I haven't stopped by until last Friday. It didn't take me more than 4 minutes to walk in and walk out. I needed to send a document, asked for signature confirmation with it, the white-pink paper. I already had an envelope and address on it. The employee said the signature confirmation is for priority mail only, I thought he will kick me out the line to get the proper envelope, prepare and come back but when I asked what I need to do, he place my envelope into another one with a window in front so no need to re-write the information. To Newark,NJ, I paid around $10.

Said they'll be back from lunch at 2:30pm yet 3pm still no employee is there and line outside the door

Rude employees with complete disregard for customers' time and money. They put a sign up that they'll be black from lunch at 2:30p. Some people waited in line for over an hour for them to stroll in at 3pm giggling and laughing. By this time the line was outside the door. When rightfully frustrated customers cheered at their return, they threatened to leave. An employee even told A customer who said thank you for coming back that if she kept talking "you gonna be out". Disgusting. So many people need jobs yet these employees have a job and do a poor job.

The service here is fast and the staff is very helpful. Everything I have to do is taken care of in almost a couple minutes.

This place is awful. Had an 11:15am appointment for a child passport renewal. Waiting since 11am,…read moreat 12 the teller decided it was her lunch break and left us standing there until 12:30 without any indication of timing.

Going to the post office in NYC in general is normally an anxiety-inducing, blood-pressure-raising…read moreexperience. On the two occasions i've come to this branch, however, i've been happily surprised by their good customer service, tidyness, and vigilance when it comes to enforcing social-distancing and mask-wearing. The clerks here are cordial and pretty efficient. There are usually 3 clerks working the windows (but i tend to go around midday). Of course you always have those nutcases who don't wear their masks properly, slow older folks, or annoying people who interrupt your time @ the window with their "quick" questions - but just make sure YOU take care of you! *Tip 1: Double-mask it (and face-shield if you're immuno-vulnerable); don't engage the crazy people; and don't be in a big hurry cuz all you'll do is stress yourself out. Both times i've had to stand in line, but was out of there within 15-35 minutes. *Tip 2: It's always a good idea to check usps.com BEFORE you go to the post office cuz you'll save yourself a LOT of time and headache if you're armed w/ information. Be smart (like me) and research beforehand so you don't get the dreaded "This is the wrong label - go fill out another one, and come back." Ain't nobody got time for that!!! So to recap: 1. Don't be a nutcase - wear a mask that covers your NOSE and MOUTH. 2. Arrive with a good attitude and INFORMED about what you need. 3. Don't be in a huge hurry - you never know if there will be lots of clerks cuz the way the post office is set up nowadays - you might hafta wait a lil bit. 4. Be kind to elders - they tend to need more time and care.
