Stopped by today to mail something that needs to arrive by Friday to TN. Online it says they close at 5pm but the sign here says 6pm. The lines were super long, it was very hot inside and there was a guy sitting on top of the garbage can. Staff here is rude and work slow. There were only 2 employees at the booths, one for general things and one to pick up packages. The one at the general things was very rude and on her phone on speaker. She kept grabbing her phone and speaking making the process slower. She wasn't focused at all. This location is also dirty and dingy. Needs major upgrade. I don't recommend this location. I only come here for emergencies because it's close to my sons school read more

This place needs to be shut down, they always losing people packages and letters and they don't care and don't help you find it. There are few workers who are just nasty and disrespectful they should be fired. The line weight to pick up your package is 1 hour plus. They lost an important letter I was supposed to receive and they never helped me find it and they lost 2 of my packages which contained my graduation engraved frame and my graduation photos I send a letter to the office of United States consumer but no help at all. Worst post office I ever went to. The staff was arguing while customers were waiting to be serviced. It took too long for the employee to complete the delivery process in the system but at least he did apologize for the long wait. I have a lot of bad things to say about this place, but I can summarize it as a HORRIBLE SERVICE and EXPERIENCE. The employees are sleeping when you arrive, and apart from that they are rude for no reason. I went to pick up a package that they "tried to deliver" which is totally false. This review is for the package pick-up. Unfortunately, every time I come here I am always met with unfriendly help and rude customer experience. They make you write your tracking number on a piece of paper so be prepared with that information. If you have issues with delivery they seem very disoragnized and are quick to dismiss you out the door before trying to provide ANY sort of help or information that will get you the answers you need. It's the poor customer service that unfortunately is causing me to have my mail delivered at a different location to avoid the headache that is dealing with this postal office. read more

I get my notifications of my packages I'm having thru emails and text. This morning as I was standing in front of my building i recieved a text that my package couldn't be delivered due to not being able to leave my package because of an unsecured area. The driver completely and totally lied. I was in literally in front of my building for 1/2 hour when I recieved this notification. The driver never came. The usual: they won't deliver your package to your door, you'll wait hours to recieve it at the actual post office, and you'll have to deal with nasty attitudes while you wait to get it. They have lost my package(medication) I have called USPS consumer affairs on the 10th, today is the 15th and they haven't care to call me back yet... I told them that it's medication that was ordered on the 27th of December... Today is January 15th The company that sent the medication do not want to send me a replacement because when you track the package, you see that someone at USPS left this note: "We attempted to deliver your package at 6:57 pm on January 8, 2020 in BRONX, NY 10457 but could not access the delivery location. We will redeliver on the next business day" This was not true, because they never attempted to deliver, nor they tried to deliver the next business day, there has been no activity since the 8th I called this location on the 10th to see what is going on, and I was told they don't know what happened on the 8th but I could come and pick up the package inn person... I rush to the post office before they close, only to be told they don't have the package... Are you kidding me? So I said " Them someone lied to me right? Can you said it? Did someone lie to me?" Guess what he said, "Yes sir, someone lied" He said it like, buddy, there is nothing you or I can do about it... Although I appreciated his honesty, I'm curios, how many times they do this, to comply with the service commitment dates, USPS employees drop similar notes, we tried to deliver but had no access. I've seen this strategy before, and I wish USPS consumer affairs could do something about these frauds, I really do It's 2 to 3 days we promise the customers for the package to be delivered? By far the worst Postal service!!!! Unprofessional to say the least. During the past month I've had a few packages lost or stolen. Besides that, if you get a package via USPS, they NEVER deliver. They claim to have "attempted delivery" and "left a notice", all untrue. I have a security camera at my front porch and door which keeps all motion saved for review. When the USPS claims they tried delivery I can check the time they claimed to have come and of course, no one came to deliver. That, coupled with the longest lines since the DMV and the pathetically stupid "customer service" agents there keeps it in the running for worst post office in New York City. If they do not "feel" like delivering your package, you wont see it. I have cameras on my house and I always know when they did not feel like delivering my package. I would get an email saying that they tried to deliver the package but there was no secure place to leave it. How can you try to deliver something if you dont show up in the first place?
