Then at the end of the note, they wrote "Please keep it even with mail box after 145." There is no mailbox after 145. What is going on here USPS and why is this behavior allowed?

I only used their drop box inside the post office. The United States Post office is located on the corner of Oak Street and Robinson in old downtown Oroville. The building itself is beautiful with alot of character. Very historic! I was there today at 220 pm ( September 12) and there was a pretty long line of people with packages. I can't say if the employees are on top of it or not because I did not have to go up to the counter for assistance. Parking is available out front. I would have given them more stars but the 2 homeless people right in front of the entry were not friendly. I won't go here again because I don't live here! I usually mail my stuff at the post office elsewhere. It does have mail boxes inside this facility.

They have enough staff to handle the needs of its patrons and Chico needs a 3rd post office, no argument against that, they are overwhelmed w more users. If you are a stamp collector, they feature releases earlier that the Chico post offices. Even at its busiest, they still manage to accommodate the public well. I like the art work featured on the walls and the architecture. I've been in lines at the Vallombrosa Location in Chico that would go to the entrance and some people w packages would get impatient w the long waits and storm out. There hasn't always been enough staff to accommodate the flow. Before when Chico was smaller, one person at the front desk at busier times, would've been practical. My only complaint and it's in the spirit of constructive criticism, no one at fault here, it's Durham. It would help if they could expand the parking lot as it can fill up on busier times. Durham is getting busier in afternoons. Don't see how they can but you can park at any of the side streets and for free. Free parking downtown Chico is getting harder to find. It may also help if they were open on Sat as Durham is growing but that is me. If you're feeling frustrated w long lines at the Chico post offices, come on down to the Durham post office.

I suspect the reviewers were actually part of the problem and I for one don't trust their reviews. The Paradise post office is modern, and is physically the nicest post office I have EVER seen! The employees are very competent and helpful, and they're also friendly. I've lived in Paradise for 14 years now and my mail delivery and my mailman (who has served my residence for all those years) are awesome. I've never had a problem with this post office in the entire 14 years, which might help you understand why I don't trust the negative reviews here on Yelp.
