I put 4 ground advantage flat bubble mailers through the interior mail drop slot on Friday morning at 9:30 AM. It's now Sunday and none of those packages has gotten a scan. The Rosedale post office is either grossly incompetent or they're criminals who stole my outgoing business merchandise. And then... I just moved here and had to get keys to the apartment mailbox from this post office. They came out and changed the lock on my neighbor's box and gave me those keys instead of the keys to my box. So now they not only screwed me, but they screwed a neighbor as well. This post office needs to be shut down immediately. They are a significant impediment to the functioning of society. They don't provide any useful services and are actively harmful to the community. These idiots and scumbags need to be eliminated. Everyone needs to file complaints on the usps website about this post office. read more

Summary: Stole a package from me. 4 months later USPS refuses to cover insurance cost of item (under $50). I dropped off a prepaid package as usual, in late October 2024. A week later I notice the website I was sending the package to hadn't update the status. I confront the clerk in person. She plays dumb, aloof like manner, and says they don't scan until package reaches final destination, which is clearly a lie. Instead of arguing, I leave and contact USPS 'HQ' through the phone. Also note this branch has a security camera showing people walk in and out of the front door. I had a 15 lbs package and surely not an envelope or such that could easily be blown by the wind. Also note I got a phone call from this branch before filing an insurance claim, stating there was a 'holiday' hence why there may be scanning delays, and they would call me back. I wrote a review about this post office a couple of years ago, when we wouldn't receive mail for days, and it's only gotten worse. Now, we receive mail every night, but there is probably someone else's mail included with ours. The delivery person told my husband that he has to take the mail to the post office and write, "Return to Sender" on the envelope. That's sounds like someone else's job to me, and since neither my husband nor I work for the post office, that's not about to happen. One day, I received notification that my package had been delivered. Where? It wasn't delivered to my home! I spoke with a manager and she tracked it down. The package was delivered to my mailbox at 10pm that evening, thanks to the manager, who located the package and delivered it to me herself. The delivery person could probably deliver the mail correctly and before 8:00pm if they stayed off their cellphone. read more

absolutely terrible experience the worst customer service i've ever seen in my life was super disrespectful and didn't try to look for the correct document that they should have! turned her neck and said we don't have it when she didn't even look and then was very disrespectful telling us we have the schedule an appointment when they do walk-in's but she was too lazy and didn't want to get up from her chair to do her job that WE THE PEOPLE pay her bills with our taxes this is a government building DO BETTER! someone needs to go in there and teach them how to actually do their job properly and have some customer service! read more

This location is always professional and actually has majority of staff being friendly and helpful without attitude. The Essex location is complete opposite. I just had to send a package to my daughter out of state and this location made the transaction so quick and easy with a very friendly lady assisting us. We had pre-weighed our package & printed a label (but didn't attach in case they got different weight). Ironically weight came up the same & we placed our label, paid & were off too next destination. Easy Peasy!! Plenty of handicap parking & ramp to enter. Plenty of friendly helpful staff. I definitely recommend this post office! read more

Because of my position at Baltimore County Public Schools, I frequent USPS to receive or send packages. During COVID I find myself there a lot more because we are constantly sending packages to students to support their learning at home. I visited this location last week (10/1/20) because I had about 119 envelopes with student supplies for our whole Kindergarten program. A staff person named Donita waited on me and she was so patient! Imagine scanning over 100 manilla envelopes, putting stamps on each while it's just you and another worker? She was not only patient, she took her time and we had a soft conversation about 1/2 way through. She doesn't know how much I appreciated her calmness because I had a bit of anxiety after going to another USPS two weeks prior and was treated so rudely when I had a similar amount of envelopes. read more

went to this post office today because we are missing mail (as usual) & because late mail is showing up from over a month ago! the supervisor (Mr. Jackson) wrote down on a piece of paper that covid is the reason and said "we will get it to you when we get it to you"! , and then the employee lynnell spoke up and you can blame "your" ex president for the reason our mail is messed up! Unbelievable! non delivered mail is normal from this location. They don't wear mask even though they are supposed to. We have had birthday cards stolen from the envelopes (I have pictures). We receive mail intended for people that don't even reside in our zip code! Issues are reported to their oig, but they do nothing &They retaliate if you report them. They are rude & unprofessional! And no one cares or does anything including their oig or postmaster. This has been ongoing for years! So it's not covid related. (We have complaint numbers from prior years) so they can't blame covid or trump. The bad reviews go back years for this postal location (read the Google reviews) Something needs to be done! *Reported these issues to Dutch Ruppersberger as well. One of the best Post Office locations I have ever been to! A couple ladies that often work at this branch, Monique and Ms. Wilson, are friendly (especially for postal workers - you know how grumpy they are for the most part!) One of, if not the worst location in Baltimore County. Mail to apartments in Rosedale is delivered twice a week at best. Many bills are delivered after the due date, and I am still awaiting a bill that was due the 23rd of May. I have resorted to identifying the receipt date on the bill to document the ineptitude. After almost 250 years, the postal system is little improved since Franklin started it. I have personally observed one of the mail carriers stop at each building entrance, put the truck in park, and talk on the phone for 2-5 minutes before getting out to deliver the mail, all the while continuing with the phone conversation. It is not surprising that mail is so sparsely delivered when it takes ten times as long at each stop. Last Saturday, I had five pieces of mail delivered to my address; however, not to me. Interestingly enough, one of the pieces was not supposed to be delivered to my address, rather a location in West Baltimore. I printed labels and attached them indicating return to sender, not at this address; and on the one that was the wrong address, that too was indicated. The bar codes were lined out. Today, I had two of the same pieces re-delivered to my address. I waited about ten minutes to get my mail and saw the re-delivered pieces. Because the carrier is highly inefficient, still on the phone, and distracted, she was only three doors away. I walked down to her; she was still sitting in the truck continuing her phone call. I tapped on the window to get her attention. She was startled, but rolled down the window. I told her what had happened, and she retorted with a bevy of excuses, such as the recipient, had not changed his address, and they only deliver to addresses, not names. That works one time, but when the mail is corrected to say, return to sender, not at this address, Shouldn't they be returned? All of the mail was from the same place, Department of Transportation. She refused to take them. I told her I was not going to go through the same exercise again or be responsible for this other person's mail. At this point, instead of trying to rationalize with someone that couldn't care less about doing her job, I dropped the mail over the window as I would in a mail box. Shortly thereafter, I found out that the carrier had called her supervisor and claimed that I had assaulted her. I contend that the only crime committed here is fraud and theft against the United States Postal Service, and the perpetrator is obviously not me. read more

I'm not sure what the previous reviews are talking about but my experiences with this post office have been horrible. I've been to this location several times over the past few months and each time I went the two older women at the front counter are incredibly rude. You go to ask them a simple question, they respond with an attitude. They treat customers as if they are idiots and act as if they are being irritated. Terrible customer service read more
