All the residents are so sick and tired of someone that is breaking into our located on has to be an inside job they're opening it with a key. They're not breaking into it so someone there at the postmaster has a key and is going around breaking into all the can't we have individual mailboxes in the front of our homes? This is ridiculous. Somebody needs to do something about it. Everyone that lives here in Copper Creek off Taft Highway our mailboxes have been broken into. Time after time something needs to be done. Every time I come here I get excellent service. Today I was mailing in my paperwork for my passport replacement. Barbara was with a customer before me. She was amazingly kind and patient with this man who was continually making mistakes. She was so helpful to him. I just wanted her to double check my application before I sent it in. She gave me a very valuable piece of info. You should receive your new passport before you get your old one back. If you receive the old one but not the new one it has probably been lost and you need to contact the agency immediately. The entire staff here is very helpful. read more

Of course, the post office is going to be busy, let alone where people come to apply for passports. Our appointment was at 2, and we didn't get called for our applications to be checked until 3. It turned out my husband and I were both not able to proceed with applying because of our birth certificates. Just our daughters could apply. Well, after waiting and then being told no, my husband was upset and a bit unpleasant, but the woman who was helping us had so much patience. She was not rude, not rushing us, just spoke in such a nice tone. My daughter wanted to do a shout-out to the male employee, Manny ( sorry if I mispelled). Went in to renew my passport. Since my old passport was issued before I turned 16 I had to do the whole process in person, but I did see an online option for other renewals. I filled out the application online and requested an appointment. I scheduled it in the morning and when I arrived it was not busy besides a couple of people. I did have to do the application on paper again which I quickly did while I waited. The staff took my picture and then reviewed my application. Everything looked good and they submitted it. I did have to pay with a money order which they did have for purchase there. Whole process took less than 20 minutes. In and out very quickly. Staff were very helpful and nice. Passport arrived a couple weeks later just in time for my vacation. Best post office experience I've had. read more

Last year around this time I had an issue with usps claiming they were putting my packages in my mail locker, yet they were never there. This happened five times last year, with even my medication being taken, and not once did usps admit fault or even try to look further into the issue. I tried calling this place EVERYDAY and they just don't answer the phone. And putting a claim online gets you nowhere. I nearly lost HUNDREDS of dollars! A couple months have gone by where I wasn't losing packages, but now it's that time of year again and I've already had two packages claimed to be in my locker when they are not. Idk who the f is these hiring people but my god they're god awful ANNOYING employees. I have CONTINUOUSLY not been getting my packages, them being placed into the incorrect mailbox. Must be a very difficult job. I had one package be put into a locker and no key. I went to the post office to speak to a supervisor (as I was told that is what I had to do). They had me buzz into a random door and the guy who "helped" was so confused, didn't seem to know what a locker was, and said the supervisor was out. Said there wasn't much they could do. I don't know how brain dead you have to be to not be able to put packages into the correct mailboxes but you sure should get that checked out. If you can't do something so simple, I can't imagine how useless you must be in life. They're truly hiring the worst possible people at this location. read more

I don't know why this post office always has the longest lines and the craziest drivers in the parking area. This post office is always super busy and there's so much activity inside and outside. I prefer the post office on Camino versus this one because in my opinion the traffic moves a lot smoother. I'm always at this post office because I have a box at this one. I tried getting a box at the Camino location but they didn't have any available boxes so then this is the next post office closest to home. I really have no complaints about the employees here, they are very polite and professional. My complaint is the lines and the way the post office functions in and out of it. I'm thinking this is more of a centralized area which makes it super busy. The post office in recent years has now started to look much cleaner. This facility used to stay open all the time and now they close the doors at a certain time. Not sure what made this change, but sometimes I forget because I swing by at odd hours and the doors are locked. read more

First of all we don't have an office near us and they tend to be rude and unfriendly half the time!!!!

I always go here because of proximity. You never know what's in store for you until you open the doors. Usually a long line up to the door waits for you. The line is for dropping of packages, picking them up, buying stamps, etc. so it might be good to have a dedicated line or even a person who could assist you based on your needs as soon as you get in. On good days, that long line moves fairly fast enough with three counters open. On most days though, it takes a good 2-5 minutes for a single customer wanting to send a fully labeled package with only 2 counters open, the employee from the other counter mostly asking the other staff member to clarify something. read more

I've been having issues lately with these people always misplacing my packages, and about a year and a half ago they misplaced an envelope I got from the IRS and when I asked a bold guy there who I think is or was the manager he just shrugged and acted as if it wasn't a big deal. Then a few months ago they misplaced my stimulus check I got in the mail and luckily the person who got it was honest enough to send it back so it wouldn't get stolen. It's been an issue with these people who work there, and after the pandemic things got worse. The lobby isn't as clean as it used to be and the employees are rude. I don't recommend this location but unfortunately it seems to be the main post office in town. What a shame indeed!! read more

I've been having issues getting my mail and packages delivered properly. I was told that the Stockdale office took over delivering packages to the door while the Dole Ct office is handling everything going into the cluster boxes for my neighborhood. So far 2 packages were delivered to the wrong house. Contacted Rye at this office and she assured me she would send the carrier back out to backtrack where the packages were left. This never happened because they are either incompetent or they are stealing the packages themselves. This is absolutely ridiculous! The USPS is complete trash. read more

Walking in, I was sure it was going to be a wreck. I made a passport appointment weeks in advance and was ready with all documents. When I walked to the door, there were makeshift signs reminding people to get photos done at Costco to save money and not to ask any questions or bother the workers while they were with someone so as not to slow down the process. They did give an 877 number to call if you had questions though! All in all, I had a worried feeling that we were screwed. But to my surprise, it was actually a really great experience. The woman inside asked us if we had an appointment and we said yes. She told us that they were behind but she'd be with us shortly. We sat for about five minutes and were called in. The woman working was super friendly and cracked jokes with us. She made the process very efficient but also enjoyable- words you wouldn't expect to here when trying to obtain a passport. We were out in less than twenty minutes. I have been using a P.O. mailbox here for a long time, at least 7 years. You can pay for 6 months or a year of service, I try to pay for a year every time. Although I don't really need a P.O. box; I just can't seem to close it, it's like my back up. Besides having a back up, I do get other postal needs out of this place. Sometimes I mail things off, buy stamped envelopes, buy gift cards and birthday/holiday cards. The BIGGEST problem I have, which I've had for years, even talked to the clerks and left notes for the so called manager; I continue to get a sh!t load of mail in my box for a guy that I don't know. This guy might be dead, he gets all kinds of checks and small business books, and it's always over filling my box. I continue to get notes in my box saying my box is too full and they can close it if I don't clear it out more often, because of this extra mail, it sucks. I've complained too much about it over the years, they do nothing, I use to give them the mail back but it seemed as if they would just put it back in the box. I can't anymore. read more

Like so many others, this Post Office left a bad taste in my mouth. My first experience was last year when I needed to renew my passport for an upcoming trip to Mexico. They deemed my passport ineligible to renew by mail (pups took a nice bite out of the corner) so I had to go in to start the process over. Little did I know you can exactly walk in. Nor can you make an appointment. Instead, because the line was so outrageously long you had to get there at about two hours before the PO opened to stand in line and wait your turn. I didn't have this kind of availability, but being that it was Spring Break (which may have attributed to this business) my boyfriend was able wait for me. And wait he did. He proceeded to wait until 330pm. All. Day. Long. Since I was right around the corner at work he called me when my number was just about up. The plan was a success. But once I got there, the lady that helped me was more than rude. She was downright terrible. I filled the application out three times because she didn't like the way I wrote things. And I don't have bad handwriting. Ok, I told myself, she's just looking out for me and making sure my application goes through without a hitch. But when she made a snide comment about my hair color (it was blue at the time) I almost lost it. Almost. She then added that "I may get stuck across the border with hair looking like that" ... I'm sorry but what? You're telling me that no one traveling abroad is allowed to dye their hair anything other than what they were naturally born with? Or changing my hair color in whilst I still have this passport photo will make it invalid? Even if this was true there could have been more tact. After about 35 minutes of verbal torture we were finally done. Payment was a whole other kind of mess that I don't even want to get into. Just do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here for your passport. Oh, and I can safely say I made it back across the border just fine. read more

I had to renew a passport for my daughter, we had to make an appointment. We rushed over to get there, stress! Let me tell you, we have never had such good service at the post office before. Chuck helped us out. He took the time to get to know us a little, even offered my daughters a little bit of candy when he overheard that I had not fed them yet. The associate Shawna was very communicative with all of us waiting and let us know they were down a worker and trying their best. The whole process took a little less 10-15 minutes but the whole experience a little under an hour. Shawna was the associate who ended up helping me. This post office is small. Its a little confusing if you never been there because theres two offices. The first building is a post office for only passports. They have signs on all windows directing you to the building on the left which is the actual post office. The girls at the counters are slow, keep it pushing, keep it moving! I could hear conversations gossiping about how hard it was to get an apartment because someone had a pitbull dog? That conversation turned into a dog conversation with three lines not moving. The guy behind me got irritated and made a scene that "ladies line starts back here" because it appeared the girls werent paying attention and some ladies were cutting. Be prepared for people to come in and out of line to drop packages off, the office is small and random people kept coming in to drop boxes off to this cart inside near the lines. Once line started to go down some employee lady came out to assist customers needs. Next time I will go to a different location. read more

I have a post office box for security reasons and empty it every Friday or Saturday. I don't get a lot of mail, and rarely get magazines or packages. I've had important mail stolen from the box that sits in front of my house and it's always at tax time. Yesterday I arrived home to fine 5 articles of mail in my mailbox outside my home that were all addressed to my PO BOX. This is unacceptable to me. I do not owe anything on my box rental nor was I notified of any pending issues with my PO BOX. I'd like the USPS to explain to me WHY my mail was not delivered to the proper box as addressed. Just really curious to hear the EXCUSE they're going to give me. NO STAR FOR THE USPS!! THEY ARE MESSING UP ALL OVER TOWN!! I really don't like coming into the post office because long lines, it's not convenient, my kids throw a fit every time I'm in here etc etc... But at this one the employees are so sweet that it makes it a little more bearable. They have everything you typical post office has. Stamps, envelopes, boxes and packaging supplies. There are times to go here and times not to go here. Earlier the better. Anytime after 11am, plan to stay in line awhile. This locations a near a very busy intersection and can be tricky to get in and out of during rush hour. Like I said previously, the earlier you come the better! This post office is very confusing. There are signs clearly marking it from the street, but once you enter the parking lot there are two large buildings that are not clearly marked. The one on the right looks like it should be the main building, but it's not. If you want to mail a package you need to be in the building on the left (East). I was there at 10 minutes to 5:00 on a weekday so it's not surprising that the lines were long. There is a separate area off to the right where you can purchase greeting cards and packing supplies which didn't have a very long line. The line moved surprisingly quickly in spite of the fact that one of the ladies ahead of me seemed to have no idea how she wanted to send any of her packages. I give the postal employee mad props for patiently working with her and explaining all her options to her repeatedly. Soon it was my turn at the counter and I found the postal worker very friendly and helpful I told him where I needed to get my package and by when and he quickly gave me my two best options. When it was time to pay, he told me that if I used my debit card to pay that I could get up to $50 cash back, in increments of $10. That's good to know on a busy day when you don't have time to hit your own bank's atm; other banks always charge such ridiculous fees for using their atms. Quite abusive while not accepting my package as Priority Mail Flat Rate which added about $20 because my box had bulges. I pointed out that USPS states that "As long as the Flat Rate Box can close within the normal folds, bulges are not a problem. Flat refers to the price, not to the shape." The male worker still argued with me. So I turned around and left. It is not the first time this person showed horrible customer service. Several months ago he refused to search for a package which was tracked to be in the post office. Are we still in the USA?
