It's about a half an hour from Bakersfield but I'd rather drive out here if I have to deal with stuff like this, then do it in Bakersfield because I walked into the Stockdale location last week and it was horrible. There's literally no lines people come and go, but there's not hordes of people here like in Bakersfield.

The temporary repair will probably last a few more weeks. It's already coming apart best solution would be to repave entire parking area and entrance . The drive-through mailboxes are still closed, due to continued vandalism. I parked and went in, waited in a short line before I handed my letters to Frank the friendly clerk at the front counter my mail was in good hands. I asked him about the drive-through mailboxes and he said he doesn't know when they'll be repaired or replaced, What a shame, Frank was very informative professional The post office inside is nice and clean shiny floors and it wasn't busy, which is always a surprise. I don't need it Sunday and they obviously don't want to deliver it on Sundays but when they pull this little move it delays the actual delivery almost a week. During Covid times, they only allowed 2 folks inside. Everyone else has to wait outside. Last time I was here, I waited almost 40 minutes. Fortunately, I had nothing else to do so I caught up on my e-mail and other correspondence. There was only one staff member assisting, but the guy was professional and courteous. I utilize this service because the item I sold was over $300 so $3 wasn't a big deal if you're mailing something and can't print a USPS label this is a good option. If you're product isn't more than 50 to 75% profit of what your mailing is best to print your own label other than that they provide printing services fax services and mailing services.

They're not breaking into it so someone there at the postmaster has a key and is going around breaking into all the can't we have individual mailboxes in the front of our homes? This is ridiculous. Somebody needs to do something about it. Everyone that lives here in Copper Creek off Taft Highway our mailboxes have been broken into. Time after time something needs to be done.
