My box label was prepaid for 1 pound, but my box is 3 pound so i wanted to go here to paid the difference after they weight it. I ask "can i paid..." didn't even finish my sentence he lashed out and say "NO you can't get anything". He acted as if I am robbing the place or scamming them. Seriously like most comment have already mention about service being rude, its probably this same guy that is dragging this whole place down. I had a great experience at this USPS. I went in and didn't know which mailing method to use for my package. The clerk, Michael, was friendly, efficient, and helpful. There was no line when I went. I was able to get in and out within 5 minutes and that never happens to me at a post office! read more

I always go to this location and Henry is awesome! He tells me when I should use a different box or envelope so I save some money. All the staff at this location are kind and friendly. Henry is exceptional. He said he's been working there for over 13 years or so and it's just nice and refreshing to see someone so enthusiastic like him. Every time! He's never moody or tired he's just friendly and full of energy! I love it! Other USPS employees should learn from Henry. Absolutely annoying. We came in early in the morning to get our passport paperwork done. True there are allot of workers at the desk but NO ONE attending to the passport line (there are signs stating you must stand in a specific line inside the double door in English and Cantonese). I went to the main line to ask if we needed to go there 1st and I was told that a worker would come out. I then commented on why have a specific line if no one is working it. The supervisor then told me they only have 1 worker and that they would be out eventually. If there is only 1 person working WHY let the line get extremely long THEN call them to the desk. Very disappointed with the customer service here. The gentleman at the front of the line has been waiting close to an hour. read more

Lobby of post office to open at 6.30 am tried to pick up my mail at 7 am again 7.45 am still closed ,did not pick up for several days because of 115 degrees heat. Just found out my mail was returned because supposedly the box was full. Why they opening time is not changed if nobody shows up for work on time anyway. I walk by the post office every morning at around 7 am,many people there to try to pick up there mail ,all of them very upset ,since they are on the way to work. Worst post office ever! I made a lot of online purchases and none of my items have ever been lost. But this ALHAMBRA USPS lost my package. Nobody pick up the phone when I call them, and when it finally went through, they keep putting me on hold, for 30 minutes. Supervisor James put up a false record in the case I opened, and I can't reach him, he's never there! I know that when I finally spoke to a man and asked many times for James, he just told me to hold on hold on. Then put me on hold for a long time without telling me that he had already transferred me to James. WTF! These jerks are just pushing away responsibilities, and he told me they can't do anything about this, and yelling at me saying they are not responsible!? I have deal with a lot of jerks like these, these people will just blame the other party who sent me the package internationally. OMG, James told me to contact the international seller to open a case. Hello, any idiot would know that the package is lost in Alhambra USPS, what the f*** can the international seller doing anything or track anything in the US. I still have the missed call I got from James, and his voice sound awfully a lot like the man I'm speaking to now. Obvious they lost my package and nobody wants to take responsibility, and they make me call this and that phone number. Can you believe that they can't even check the status of the case I opened? B.S. I called the 1800 USPS line too, and they told me that under my opened case, there is record that James has already informed me about the status of my package. NO, he did not! In the ugly voice mail he left me, he only told me the call him. Just why couldn't he just tell me the status of my package in the voice mail? These people are playing dumb, and telling me that even that the package is lost in there post office, it is not their responsibilities. B.S. The latest update about my package is Processed through USPS Sort Facility 2012-08-10, 13:19:00, LOS ANGELES, CA 90009. I'm filing a complaint to James who won't pick up my call. read more

I'm very upset with this post office! Five bills that I mailed here never got received !! Between my mom and I we had to pay late fees! Today I went to let them know and the lady that works there acted like "Whatever , yes it's happen before". What??? I asked her if anything was being done ? She said they told management and I asked her and what did they say ? She said they were going to inspect ! Well obviously they're not inspecting because it happened just this month!! It's a little confusing when it says on the door you can access your p o box at 6:30am. The other half of the post office opens at 9:30am. I was outside until 6:40am and couldn't access my p o box, wasting 10 minutes of my life when I could've been on my way to work and we all know how bad traffic is here so I left. Slow. Slow. Slow. I want to give them no star but i can't. I went there because i noticed i shipped my package to the wrong place. There were only 4 people in front of me and i was in line for 30 min to get to a cashier. The cashier couldn't help and asked for the manager. But all the manager could say was that he couldn't help seems like he's not educated for his position. I don't know how he got his job there. I will not go there anymore. I rarely write comment on YP but for this postal office, I'd like to. I always come to this store only because the staffs here are friendly and responsible. I mailed out three big & heavy boxes today and they were so patient & kind to help me with the heavy stuff. They also ask me that whether I need the FRAGILE sticker even they don't have to. In one of my boxes, there are some glass bowls in a pot. Probably the staff (I forget his name & he always stands at the right side if you face them) heard the sound when he lift the box, so he even ran out, told me about the latent consequences and asked me whether I packed the bowls well. I live 2 blocks from the Bay state USPS in Alhambra but I drive to this one instead. Their customer service is absolutely excellent. Pros: -FAST! -Super nice and genuine (I used an envelope to mail out a book, the lady there told me it would be much better and cheaper to used priority and the boxes instead it saved me $$!) -all employee there are friendly -boxes are organized Con's: -its pretty tiny -only one pen of the 3 provided works read more

If you're just needing stamps, they have a kiosk available 24/7. They also have two drop off bins available drive thru. If you're needing to get gas after, take a right on commonwealth and its I the left side about 1/2 mile. I know I like to do multiple things radially close to all of my errands. read more

This is the BEST USPS I have been to...ever! 5 Stars for great customer service that outshines any other USPS around this area! The clerks were playful, friendly and knowledgeable. I chose this place instead of many other offices close by to mail my dad's passport for renewal (after checking yelp and to make sure everything will be taken well care of). The clerks were making friendly jokes with each other while taking care of my item. Other offices should learn from them instead of being so serious and stressed. Best post office experience ever. Most post offices that you go into try to get you in and out as quick as possible, yet actually move at a snail's pace and tend to seem very uninterested. Not here. I hate this place... I know these people are thing to do their job and all but they suck at it. Hear me out. I went here to drop off a book and I went through the back parking thinking this was it. So I started walking around looking for the front and some guy in the back said I could go through the back opening so my sister and I did and then we got bitched at by some lady for coming through the back. She was so rude nd it was so unnecessary. First of all we were lost. Second.. The guy said we could and he just watched us walk through and didn't say anything and when the lady asked him if he had let us come here and he had the nerves to say no! I mean ok I kinda don't blame him if she was my boss id lie too.. And there was another lady who said she saw him letting us in. But oh well I wouldn't want him losing his job for something that small. Anyways so we go through the front and my sister drops off my book for me then weeks later...... The buyer contacts me and says the book was not in there like WTF.. As if it wasn't enough problem dealing with this shittyplace... Like really? More unnecessary problems???? I've been going to the ups and all the shippings went through but from the usps??? It was just one time and it happened to be lost?? This is bullshit.
