This is absolutely insane considering 15 years ago you could get a fill $ & a pedicure For around $75. Started looking and found art deco. Thought I'd give it a try and went and got a fill. For a shellac fill it was only $40! I couldn't believe when she told me the price and I asked her to repeat herself... Now for the record, this is not an upscale joint... It's not like castles in Bellevue, where you get wine, and slushy,... It is a very basic Salon, but the services are incredible and you walk out of the salon with a great fill and pedicure for around $100 ! If you want to pay for all that ambience like the waterfalls and the wine, then yes continue to go to castles and pay those prices. I for one choose to get the good service and don't need the waterfalls and wine! If you're willing to give this low-key nail salon to try, then I would highly recommend it !!

The nail technician, Cathy I believe, servicing me was very kind and just matched my level of chattiness. The price seems to be normal. I liked having all the lotion and massage, and my nails were all even and very pretty when they were done! I was really happy and couldn't stop looking at them for weeks (yup they lasted a few weeks!). She did nip me once when cutting my cuticles so I had a little bit of bleeding, but she apologized and i didn't mind. I had a nasty burn on my hand from a mistake I made cooking, and she was very careful not to hurt me. Everything was sanitary. No other frills, when she was done she had me sit and let them dry and had to go work others but it never felt like she was rushing with me. Thank you! :) I wish that I had been aware of tipping culture at the time. I think Cathy, really deserved it and I didn't think of tipping at all. I'm very sorry about that. However, the man who was at the register was unfriendly and short with me. Maybe that's his personality but :/

I've been to numerous salons where my nails do not last even a week without chipping and peeling. Since I usually get gel polish manicure and regular polish pedicure I expected the nails to last at most, 2 weeks. The nails have been holding up very well and it has been the tail end of 2 weeks going on 3 and I am impressed. The interior itself was clean and I watched them unbag sterile nail tools along with changing their gloves between customers. I will definitely be coming back to get my nails done!
