I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I went on Mother's Day to get my nails done, and from the beginning I was unhappy with the service. While the tech was doing my nails, I pointed out that one nail was crooked and the shape was uneven. Instead of fixing it, he brushed me off and told me it was "fine" when it clearly wasn't. The nails were lumpy, uneven, and even had bubbles in them. He then added chrome, which I ended up not liking, so I called the salon afterward. They told me to come back and they would fix the set. I explained that I would arrive after work around 6 PM, and they said that was okay. When I got there, I explained the issue again to the receptionist and was told to sit and wait because someone would help me shortly. After waiting 45 minutes, I asked how much longer it would be, only to have another employee make me explain the entire situation all over again. Then she told me to come back tomorrow. At that point I was extremely frustrated because I had already been waiting almost an hour with no communication. Suddenly, after I got upset, they decided to seat me to fix the nails. I then waited another 20 minutes before someone finally started working on them. To make matters worse, the tech fixing my nails was visibly irritated and filed one of my nails so aggressively that my finger started bleeding. All I got was a quick "sorry." The customer service was terrible from start to finish. No communication, no accountability, and no care for the customer experience. It's sad when your nail tech consistently tries to up-charge you when you're getting your nails done. Me, I want a manicure with clear polish; I do not have time for a pedicure. Can you please hurry... After saying no, all of a sudden she switches language n looking at me... I get to the register n she added gel. BEAUTIFUL SALON--AWFUL SERVICE. This is about my 4th time, but it was the worst. Nail Tech told I wanted Regular Manicure. She was very fast. She kept asking did I want a Pedicure: twice I said NO. I picked a #3 polish. She tried to use a #4. When I questioned her, She said #3 was out. I told he she shoulda told me, not try to use something else. She never put lotion on hands/fingers/wrist/arms to massage, which is part of manicure. I got there at 10:52 am and was finished by 11:10 which includes drying time. The best way to describe this place would be: in and out. They are going to get you in and out in under an hour. Besides that? Take a trip to Hernando, book with your local tech or do your nails at home yourself. The manager is nice and friendly and will help you save money when it come to kids nails. But the workers are absolutely not worth driving up here if you're not from the area. The work is sloppy and quick and they push gel polish and other uncharges for 75% of your appointment. The other 25% of the time they're giving you at best 50% effort. My toes looked like they were done at minimum a week ago and they were just done less than 5 minutes from the time it this review being posted. I got a manicure and asked for the polish to be remover because it looked like something my 7 year old cousin could do. Polish was left on my skin, obvious areas were not painted and the worker truly did not care or try to do better. I called again thinking it's a mistake and she answers and hangs up again. I call again like ok. ?? This is a location that has invested in their cosmetic look/decor and not skill. I received a pedicure and my service was interrupted by a walk in for eyebrows. my pedicure was also not performing well. They did not paint my entire nail. I then got my eyebrows waxed and the same person who did my pedicure took off too much hair on my eyebrows. My normal salon was closed so I tried this one and regret it. I wanted a simple fill and French manicure. The tech did not drill/file the loose edge of the previous fill, which had gotten dirt under it. As a result, it is very noticeable under my new set. I asked for assistance in covering just that nail (although several others were noticeable, they weren't as bad as the thumb) and the only recommendation he had was to get gel polish under the French manicure of ALL the nails for a substantial extra fee. When I asked why he hadn't filed it down, he simply shrugged. Even aside from that, the job looks mediocre and the nail isn't fully covered in clear coat. This place is horrible! Today I went in for a pedicure and a dip change. On my feet I have to acrylic toenails, and on my left foot the acrylic toenail was broken, so I was getting a new set on that foot. The lady who replaced my toenail, (separate from the lady who did my pedicure), she's a little short Asian lady with bangs and I think she has on a black T-shirt with gold writing today. This lady proceeded to take the acrylic off of my toe nail and when she saw that she was hurting me she didn't stop and she actually proceeded to being even more rough until my toe nail split down the middle and half and I was bleeding. She was not remorseful, nor did she try to relieve any of the pain. The manager on duty, I'm guessing is a short Asian lady with a white blouse on, did not try to console me or take care of the massacre that occurred on my toe. She only took a little bit of money off of the dip polish that I got on my hands, but did not refund me for my pedicure. I had to go to the minor med right after leaving the nail shop this morning because I didn't even want them to finish on my feet. This is the absolute worst nail shop in the state of Mississippi and I recommend that you do not go to this nail shop because they will not refund you for pain that they've caused nor will they be remorseful for the damage they have done to you. When I need my toes done and I haven't tried a place before, I always just get a polish change and a cut to see what they are capable of. My theory is, if they can get the simple things right, they are probably good and the harder things. Today I had little time for feet, so I popped into this place for a polish change. I have to admit the smell of acetone, was mild in comparison o other place I've been. They have a fridge stocked with sodas and water that they offer you, so that's nice. They greeted me, and got to me really quickly. They guy who did my nails was Quick! I timed him. It took him 4:56 mins to cut, file and repaint my toes. That's some kind of record, but he did a decent job. It was $10 so I think that was a reasonable amount for the quality of the paint job I received. Overall a good experience, when I need a full pedicure, I will come back here, and ask for Lee if I'm in a rush because I know it will be done quickly and I'll make sure he pays a little closer to detail, when I'm not in quite a rush.
