I came here with my niece on Tuesday around 11am. I wanted to get her nails painted for her birthday. We came in, were asked what service we wanted and to sign in. We were then promptly directed to a chair to be serviced. The whole process only took about 20 minutes tops since she was only getting her nails polished. I've been going here since I moved to the area three years ago. I noticed they were a little more pricey but I didnt mind because I will pay for a better quality. I loved coming here and I take my nails seriously being a flight attendant and my hands are always visible to my passengers. Within the last year the service as truly declined. It seems no one wants to be there and the floor manager is rude every time I come in. My whole nail came off my middle finger in less than a week of getting them done and her response was "well nails break" and then says I'm only charging you 10 it's really 20 for a repair since your a regular. two of my nails are cracked and multiple have lifted. I've been going here for over a year. Today I walked in for a fill. I asked the tech at table 1 to clean under my nails as I have some torn natural nails under. I was told he, "didn't have the tool". I asked, "does anyone here?" He said, "no". I stood up said thank you and walked out. I have choices, if you can't clean under nails and your business is nails, maybe rethink your business model. When I drive in town to visit my parents in Memphis my Mother and I Always have Mani Pedi time together. Since we ate a late lunch in the area first we decided to find a nail salon in the same area. As always Yelp NEVER let's me down and this is why I too want to leave reviews showing other patrons my experiences. Lee's Nail Spa was the best in the area according to other yelpers so of course this was the choice I made. This place was super busy, but I noticed all the employees working together to get things done. Also All of the employees were very friendly and were eager to accommodate all the customers (including a mother that had three precious babies who was getting her nails done). While watching the employees activity I figured out that the manager Lilian was ultimately running the entire show making sure all customers were called in order and desires were met showing that she is a GREAT Asset to the Business. I was looking for a salon close to my hotel and this one with the best reviews in the area. The gel foot bath was great on my feet but that was about it. I can't believe I paid $65 for one day of nails, I wish I could get my money back. They told me that the nail polish that they were using was better than OPI but that's not the case at all definitely choose OPI from the wall if you go in because this stuff started cracking one day later (the colors in the red display books). My boyfriend even noticed right away that the cuticle area wasn't painted very well. I also did not feel very safe in the salon they sat somebody right next to me in the pedicure area and there was no plexiglass in between us. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Worse customer service here. I was asked to leave because the nail color did not match my original nail color. They were into getting their money so they were trying to rush me so they can get other customers in. They did not want to help me find my color. My nails are a natural color and the guy put tan on my nail and said eventually the color will change, the customer next to me told me that's not going to change. The two men in here are jerks, I guess the owner was the one who asked me to leave. I recommend if you are looking for a nail shop to not come here. Find another nail shop to go to, to spend your money. I am happy I was asked to leave, I wasn't satisfied anyways lol. They did me a favor. On a positive note. I got my nail fixed for free. I've always been told by nail techs that dip powder nails last longer than gel. Well the expertise of the ENTIRE staff in this location finally saves me gas money from driving to my favorite spot in East Memphis. Every single manicure has lasted--and I am very active. At EVERY other nail shop I've been to, as the nails grow out, they begin to have pockets or air underneath, or worse they begin to chip and fall off. This doesn't happen here. My nails grow too fast for manicure to look decent, but I could keep my manicure on for well over a month if done here. The pedicures are also thorough and amazing. I'm shocked that the other nail shop less than 500 feet down on the other strip (Glossy Nails) is even in business. I visited them only a couple of times, and regretted every time. I was looking for a new place for pedicures, unfortunately this won't be it. Upon walking in the lady that greeted my friend and I a bit rude. When I asked her to explain the difference between their pedicure services, she was very dismissive and acted as if she didn't want to be bothered explaining. Once I was actually in the pedicure chair, I had to endure the extreme loud and rowdy ness of several of their obvious regular customers. Not to mention my pedicurist was more focused on talking to EVERYONE in the building and occasionally checking her phone while providing my service. I am not sure what other people expect when they go to places like this but I am pampering myself and looking for a relaxing experience. This absolutely was not that. There is no separation and the room is tight, so everyone is close. I will say that it seems clean overall. This is supposed to be a "spa". To me that translates into tranquil environment. My friend's experience: originally she was getting a manicure and pedicure. This turned into a manicure only. The lady who started her service cut her cuticles on a few of her fingers causing her to bleed a little. The owner came over and finished the service after this happened. read more

I seldom get to go to same place due to being a truck driver. I went her for pedi only I got a young lady named Mimi. Absolutely the best I've ever encountered. Super soft spoken and gentle. I've been going to Lee Spa on church rd every since they open. I always give positive comments to people who would ask where do I go to get my nails done. I went there a week ago to get a pedicure and dip on my nails. The dip on my nails were ok but I've had better and my pedicure was awful. A older lady did my pedicure and she was so rude. She didn't get all the dead skin off my feet. Every time I ask her could she check to make sure she started frowning and said something under her breath. Of course I didn't understand what she was saying but the other nail tech did. She got some hot towels to put on my legs and the towels were too hot. She continued to leave it on my leg until I kicked the towel off. She half removed the polish off my toes. When she polished my toes she left polish on my skin. I ask her politely to get it off and to add another coat. She snatched my foot so I thought maybe she wasn't trying to. So I ask her again for another coat for my other foot and she snatched my foot. She put my shoes on and snatched my feet. My parents raised me not to disrespect my elders. Why do y'all (nail tech)get a attitude when we(the customers)ask could you correct a mistake. If a customer spends over a $100 on nails and toes y'all should correct the mistake without getting a attitude, snatching our feet and talking about the customers to the other nails tech. You are being rude and not professional. I see why some people go off on y'all. How bout the polish on my toes is coming off and it looks like I got my feet down a month ago not a week ago. About 4 months ago a guy tech did my nails and they were awful but the young lady that done my feet was amazing.
