Nice little place, tucked in the shopping center near Safeway. Visited for a $30 event to try the services and hang with friends. Staff were nice, attentive and explained each of the benefits that were associated with the routines. Cryo room: It was cold (obviously), but pretty interesting. They let you have your choice of music while you're in there. The dancing and amount of vapor coming off was an experience :) They bundle you up pretty well. I recommend trying it. Red light (full body): This was interesting also. Get naked, turn on the fan (optional), close your eyes and stand in front of some red lights. I saw green (which is normal) and stood there for 10 mins. Private room, it was fine. NormaTec Compression: This seemed like the most beneficial for me. I'm a big boy, so they didn't fit as well as they should to provide the most comfortable experience. It was fine though, I want to try them again when I get this weight off. All the services are very nice and the people are nice too. The chamber gets very, very cold, but that's the point! If you don't feel like getting in the chamber that day you can choose other services instead. It's a good place to go for restoration or on a rest day. Your clothes should be dry (no sweat) before you go in the chamber, so be sure to bring dry clothes or they can lend you something to wear there. The Roseville and Davis locations are associated with one another, so if you join at one you can go to either. You can have a good healing experience in under 20-30 minutes if you are in a rush, or you can stay longer depending on your schedule or what you want to have. read more

We were visiting for a soccer tournament during a VERY hot weekend. We used US Cryotherapy in Davis to help my players recover and cool down between games. It was perfect! Not only were the facilities perfect for our needs, but the staff was amazing! Stacy went out of her way to make sure my girls were taken care of knowing we were far from home and didn't have access to everything we'd like to have between games. She accommodated every request we had. She even offered to refill water bottles, and throw hot sweaty uniforms in her dryer so the girls wouldn't have to put wet uniforms back on. I decided to give Cryotherapy a try after spraining my ankle a few days ago. I picked this location as it came highly recommended by a friend. I gave them a call and arranged to go in later that same day. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped me decide which treatments and packages were best for me. The staff walked me through what to expect in great detail and explained everything thoroughly. The entire process was stress free and relaxing, and most importantly- my ankle started feeling better the very same day! When I walked in for my first visit, I could barely put any pressure on it, and after 3 days and 3 treatments, my ankle is almost fully healed. Although I initially came in due to an injury, I will definitely continue visiting US Cryotherapy as it has helped elevate my entire body and mood. I live in So Cal, but was up in Davis the end of last Summer. Two days of Cryo, with the localized treatment, and my body was whole again. So, why am I writing this now? Because in a few weeks, my husband and I will be meeting our son at Travis AFB. He has back and neck issues that I am sure will be resolved by the cryotherapy treatments. As long as he is temporarily assigned to Travis, we will be driving up (6 hours), to take him. We will be participating as well. I went for the spring kickoff event on May 5-6th and it was alright but with some flaws that ultimately made this a hard pass. Everything was going alright until the woman (baseball cap) that was running the cryotherapy chamber was snarky and made me feel uncomfortable. The woman even made me go in my thick sweatpants, which defeated the whole cryotherapy experience since the whole point was to have as much skin exposure to be subject to the extreme cold temperatures. Also, they made me wear a mask in the chamber (which for past cryotherapy enclosed chambers I've been to, never had to have a mask (not covid)) but I'm now dealing with severe acne because of it-highly doubt it was cleaned). Massage that was also free was a little painful/uncomfortable, but I assumed that's how every massage is. Prices for "deep discounts" were only 20%, which seemed like something I would see off of Groupon and I thought it was more for it to be a "deep discount". Ultimately, I would say this is a hard pass and I'll be looking for other cryotherapy options elsewhere. I would recommend Restore Hyper Wellness (better pricing, nicer staff, etc.) even though it's in Sacramento-worth the drive. It'll be very hard to convince me to come back here and give the benefit of the doubt. read more

I've been going to Cryotherapy for about 3 months now and I can honestly say this place is the best in the business. As an avid obstacle course race (OCR) enthusiast, recovery is a must for me to perform at my best. The folks at US Cryotherapy Davis always know how to take care of me in a timely fashion. They offer a variety of treatments such as the traditional Cryotherapy chamber treatment, Cryo spot treatment, hydro massage, and Normatec compression treatment (my favorite). In the 3 months I've been doing Cryo treatment, I've noticed my flexibility has drastically improved, my recovery time has shortened, I can perform better, and I sleep better at night as an added bonus. It may seem intimidating at first, but trust me, you won't regret trying out this type of treatment. All of the staff is extremely friendly and they do not try to pressure you into the usual sales gimmicks that you'll find at other recovery clinics. They will lie you reach your goals and always have your health and safety in mind. I am currently an executive member, and will continue to be, due to the excellent and professional service I receive every time I go here. On top of that, all of the staff is extremely knowledgeable and educated in their profession. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars, but I guess a perfect review will have to suffice! Just BE CAREFUL, especially with the compression treatment. Insist that an attendant stay with you. The compression should start slowly and you need to understand how to control the pressure. During my first treatment the pressure was set way too high which injured my knee. I couldn't walk for 2 days. I'm getting better, but my knee is worse than the day I came in. Staff of one was overwhelmed with customers. The attendant left the window while I was in the chamber. I felt panic after 1.45 minutes and had to wave frantically at other customers to get out. If you're claustrophobic like I me, this may not be for you. read more

Underwhelming to say the least. I bought the $46 dollar Groupon for the face treatment, light treatment, waterbed massage, and a skincare product. First off, I didn't get the skincare product. Second, the waterbed massage was uncomfortable at times and tickled so I kept shifting my body to avoid the uncomfortable parts in my mid back and back of legs but I kept hitting my head on the light in the process. My skin does not look any different and the guy who did the face treatment was pretty unprofessional and made me feel the opposite of "at ease". I looked at the individual prices and saw that the Groupon I got was actually more expensive than the individual services. Not sure what all of the 5 star reviews are about. read more

They're just so cool when I come in, remember who I am, let me carry on with excessive usage of the vibration plate----I'm on a mission when I come here! The staff members also will plant little athletic performance/life style tips in your head and then you(that's me) remember them, incorporate them for a long period of time, then it changes your life. One of these amazing tips about posture and form, keeping the hips pushed out in front of you, was suggested to me by the trainer Vance who keeps a very good attitude and positive vibe whenever I'm there---he's definitely a huge asset to the entire crew and I'm certainly, by no stretch, the first person he has positively affected for the better. Another practitioner Forest was super generous with the Thera-gun, going above and beyond to target my problematic calves area with a comprehensive approach of feeling out looseness/tightness of said area and corresponding connective tissues, followed by a chat about his personal experiences with how everyday behaviors affect what he sees when people come in. I was skeptical at 1st because I wasn't familiar with cryotherapy, but after herneating a disc in my back & overhearing other patients during my physical therapy appointment rave about it, & reading numerous scientific studies online stating it's effective & not risky, I decided to give it a try. The 2 minutes inside the cryo chamber were not enjoyable for me, but I felt great afterwards! Inside it was shockingly cold & after 1 minute the 2nd minute couldn't come quickly enough. Gabriela was great though- she came inside the chamber with me since I was a little nervous & that helped a lot! Once I was out I felt extremely happy (those endorphins really kicked in released by the cold!) Then I did localized cryo treatment to my pain areas. When I walked out, I felt extremely energized & my pain was gone! It felt almost too good to be true! I noticed I was very hungry & read afterwards the minutes in the cold chamber burn a ton of calories- bonus! :) About 3 hours later the effects seemed to wear off, but it was my 1st time & I read 10-20 treatments are needed for significant impact. My mother in law and I were excited to go to our first Cryotherapy appointments today. I called on 9/4 and spoke to Esther to make our appointments for today 9/6. She specifically stated they are closed from 2 to 2:30 for lunch to which I stated that's great then we will be your first appointments once you return. Before we drove to Davis a 30 minute drive , I called and spoke to Esther to confirm our 2:30 appointment today as well as confirm directions. We arrived and saw the sign on the door stating closed for lunch from 2:00 to 2:30. We were 5 minutes early so of course we waited and did not mind. 2:30 came and went & at 2:45 no one had returned from lunch. Needless to say I called and left a voicemail while peering into a building that was empty and I should have already been 15 minutes into my appointment. They have a package that is 199.00 each and my mother in law and I came fully prepared to get those today. The product is only as good as the service you get and let's suffice it to say we did not get product or service because we were not valued enough to respect our time and appointments that had been made. We really wanted to support a small business for so many reasons but due to this poor experience we will not try to spend money here again. To add an extra cherry on top of the subzero customer service experience I did not even get a call to apologize. After only a couple sessions, my range of movement has completely returned after not being able to lift my arm above my chest. I was hoping the cryotherapy would have similar effects as an ice bath, which can numb you down and really obliterate any inflammation in any of your joints. I'm a huge fan of ice baths. However, I felt zero effect from the cryotherapy and felt the same when I left as when I had walked in. I think i'll stick to ice baths for sports inflammation... The whole operation is well-run. Their staff are really friendly, the place is run professionally and the concepts are intriguing. Unfortunately, it really didn't work for me at all. I didn't even shiver in the cold chamber. We hopped into the chamber for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Fabulous feeling of recovery from someone who is working out and lifting on a daily basis. US Cryotherapy is: Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) which is exposure to subzero temperatures. Extreme cold stimulates skin sensors, activating a Central Nervous System (CNS) response. I had written a previous review expressing my grievance with this company for charging my credit card with additional unwanted visits. Please beware that if you sign up for a 3 month membrerhip, you have to sign a waiver if you do not want them to keep charging your credit card. The manager would not talk to me directly and sent a staff guy to tell me I could not get a refund which I thought was quite rude. I contacted one of the owners via email who said that he would get me "squared away" When I asked what that meant he said I would not be charged for additional visits. I explained that I wanted a refund and he did not agree. After about 6 emails back and forth as a last ditch effort I told the owner that I would tell all my friends and colleagues about my bad experience. After that, I received an email from another owner who said I would be refunded even though this goes against their policy. I have received my refund. Today I received a message from Kimberly stating she was disheartened by my Yelp review. I told her I was disheartened by how much effort it took to get her and the owners to hear my grievance.
