EFFIENCY Have you ever wondered when you when to the dry cleaners how the workers can find your clothes based on the paper receipt they give you? I have been fortunate that at any dry cleaners I've been too when I give one of the workers the receipt to find my clothes they are able to find it, but I find that the handwritten paper receipt is archaic when it comes to organizing. There's a dry cleaner near the UC Bart Station where there's an upgrade when it comes to organizing. US Cleaners uses an electronic machine to print out the receipt, which shows the barcode and day to pick up your clothes. I came here recently as a I had pus stain on the right knee of my paints (sorry for the grosteque description). When I picked up my pants I gave one of the workers the receipt. I mentioned that in the past I was amazed how workers can find your clothes based on the numbers on the receipt, but there were times the process would take several minutes to find your clothes. That was not the case at this cleaner and it may be due to the barcode, which is printed on the receipt. Within a couple of minutes one of the workers was able to find my clothes. Regarding the stain on my pants this cleaner did the best it could to remove the stain as there is no mark of the stain on the outside of the pants. If you want to go to a cleaner where it's efficient I recommend US Cleaners. read more

I came to US cleaners since I have a Star Wars convention I'm attending next week. I found out very very last minute that my Han Solo shirt was discolored severely for whatever reason (taken out of storage) and I took it to them not expecting much... 2 days later it was ready for pick up. And the results? They speak for themselves!!!! (my reaction in real time) I wanted to give a huge thank you and shout out to the ladies who were working on this and did such an excellent job. You truly are life savers!!! On a side note, the cleaning job cost me $10 and it's the best $10 I've ever spent. Do not come here. I brought a leather jacket to have the sleeves shortened. Not only did they not have it ready by the date promised (I even was late by a few days), when I got it back, the sleeves hadn't been shortened! Nothing was altered! And they wanted $40. I asked the lady who was working there to confirm that her eyes could see that the sleeves were not altered and still long. She gave a shrug and said she didn't take the order...and then shrugged again. Very happy I found this local cleaner. I've had multiple items that have been sitting in my closet for a while that I haven't worn because they've accumulated coffee, food, and lotion stains over the years. I had written off these items as needing to be trashed but decided to bring it into the dry cleaners as a last shot before the toss. When I first arrived the owner greeted me warmly and took the time to look at each item of clothing carefully and gave me an honest opinion of whether or not she thought the stain could be removed. There were a few items that she said it wouldn't be possible so I ended up tossing them anyway, but for the rest, she was confident that something could be done and to give her a week. I was supposed to come in on a Wednesday to pick everything up, which I did. However, when I arrived, she told me that a couple of the items needed some more spot stain removal as they were very much ingrained in the fabric. I was fine with that, but I did wish she would have called me earlier that afternoon before my scheduled pick up time to let me know not to come in. If I didn't live right around the corner and had come out of my way to pick up my dry cleaning, I would have been pretty upset. However, the next day my dry cleaning was ready and everything looked great. I was very happy with the work they did on my clothing and will definitely be going back. Brought a sweater to be dry cleaned. It was a new sweater but I stored it for over a year and forgot about it. When I found it, it had a odd smell. So I figured I'd get it cleaned. It has been years since I have been here and it looks like it has new owners. There system was still current as my name populated on their computer but clearly different ownership. I picked up my item and when I got home it smelled the same, like they looked at it and put it on a hanger. Clearly it was new looking at it, but not cleaned. Cost was a little higher than I used to pay. I will not come back and I recommend you to look else where. read more

I never get my stuff dry cleaned but my mum needed to get her clothes and bed sheets dry cleaned and this was the closest to my place and had the best reviews. The lady that is always there is super friendly! The second time I came in she already remembered who I was (which was surprising considering they probably have a lot of customers). Once she looked at everything, she asked us when we needed it by. We told her there was no rush. She then told us that if there are things that we ever needed sooner, we can let her know and she'll try to get it done by that date. Her service is on point! No complaining about it. There is also a one time 20% off for new customers on Yelp. To be honest, this is why I picked this cleaners haha. The only reason I didn't give her 5 stars was because this laundry place is a bit on the expensive end. Would definitely come back here if we were needed to dry clean! THEY THREW AWAY THE ORIGINAL BAG THAT I BOUGHT FOR MY DRESS!! I'm furious that they did this and not one notification to inquire if I needed it or not. I don't see how you can throw away a customer's bag that the dress was brought into the shop with. They returned my dress in their cheap plastic bag. The least they could've done was save their bag and put my dress back into my bag. All I got was a "oh sorry" and didn't even get offered a discount. I have used this company's services many times,, but this Saturday they really proved themselves; I had a wedding to be at by 5pm in Pleasanton and I had just found my dress the night before.. The dry cleaning itself is fine and the prices are average. But I switched to this cleaner from another because the other started keeping very short hours which didn't work. So I switched to US cleaners because they were open from 7 to 5, for the working folks of the world. Tried to go by this week at 8:45 and there was a post-it on the door they don't open now until 9:00. So annoying. I waited until 9 and they didn't open. At 9:10 they still were not open. I came here to get my daughters prom dress cleaned. I'm so glad I came here because the person who helped me was so honest and took care of me quick! Service is excellent! I took expensive sweater and expensive vest for cleaning. I told the guy that they are both expensive and with real leather details on them , he took a look and said it's not leather and just regular cleaning will be ok. They ruined both!!!
