Ever get a folder with a question mark on it on your MacBook and went into panic mode? After a quick google search, ServicePros USA came up, so I reached out. Speaking to him on the phone, you immediately know he knows what he's talking about, but not in a self-assured way. He takes the time to explain what he means, and that means a lot coming from a woman who thinks the perfect fix is restarting her computer. Within 24 hours of dropping it off, Jim did a system check. Although not fixable, it delivered the information well, and talked me through options. As a student, I appreciated his candor and his understanding and not charging for a diagnosis with all the stresses of coronavirus, it was a moment of brightness and kindness in a stressful world. I recently had an issue with a zip drive that contained some important files, so I had stopped in to see if they could help. They did all that they could, but it turns out it wasn't a software issue, but hardware failure in the zip drive itself. They recommended a local business in Jacksonville that could help me out and gave me all the information I would need to contact them. I really appreciated the fact that they made a legitimate effort to help me out, and when they couldn't, recommended someone who could, and didn't charge me for the time. On top of that- the employees there were SUPER friendly and seemed to know their stuff. Although they didn't solve my issue, I left with a smile on my face. Like I said- they seem to be more in tune with software issues here- your computer infected with viruses, or running slow, or maybe are you in need of small upgrade or some new programs? This is definitely the place to go. Stop in, ask some questions, they'll help you get where you need to be. Any other issues? They may not be able to help, but they can point you in the right direction. Like I said- they didn't actually fix my issue but helped me out, and I would definitely say if you had any other issues, they would be able to take care of you here.
