I went in to exchange a pair of Oakleys I purchased at another Sunglass Hut location under the…read morewarranty program. The store did not have the pair I previously had to exchange them, and the associate informed me she could not order them under warranty because by the time they arrived, my warranty would expire. Instead, she sold me a more expensive pair of Costas. Unfortunately, those Costas broke in less than a week--cracking inside their case on my way home. When I returned to the store, I asked if I could either have my Oakleys returned and partially refunded or have the Costas repaired or replaced. The manager told me there was "nothing they could do because of their system." Rather than acknowledging the mistake, she placed the blame on the associate. The only option she mentioned was possibly offering something on a future purchase, but she was vague and noncommittal. At that point, I had no confidence in their willingness or ability to resolve the situation. I also discovered that I had been misled regarding the warranty. When I originally purchased it, I was told it was a one-time fee that would cover replacements within 13 months. In reality, I was charged a $45 fee for the warranty, and then still required to pay a $40 co-pay when I tried to use it--only to receive glasses that failed within a week. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend shopping at the Sunglass Hut in the Spokane Valley Mall, or at any other location. Their warranty program is misleading, their policies lack consistency, and their management is disorganized and unhelpful. Prices are not competitive with online retailers, and ultimately I now have to deal directly with Costa to resolve the issue. The bottom line is this: the only value Sunglass Hut provides is as a place to try sunglasses on before purchasing them elsewhere. For warranty coverage, customer service, and price, consumers are far better off avoiding Sunglass Hut entirely.

This company is horrible. We bought Maui Jim glasses in Alabama from a Sunglass Hut. Employee sold…read moreus on these because of the great warranty and no issues. We got back to Washington St. and the nose piece broke off, went to the Sunglass Hut here and they said no problem and gave us a box to send the glasses back to get fixed. That part was great and as promised. Maui Jim calls us and we owe $200 to get the glasses repaired. The manufacturer does not warranty them unless you can prove a defect. We are not hard on our glasses, but I guess it is our fault. Sunglass Hut totally misrepresented Maui Jim and just made-up false statements to get us to buy that product that day. Horrible ethics and when you call them, they say they never said the glasses are covered. What a lie.

This mall is surprisingly large... And surprisingly... Alive?…read more Stepping into this mall is a little bit like stepping into a time warp. I haven't been to a mall that was this full in a number of years. Not only were there a lot of people, but there weren't very many empty storefronts. Which I feel is a rarity in recent years. Like I said the small is absolutely huge. The parking lot is huge. It takes quite a bit to walk around the whole mall and see all of the shops. They have all the standard shops that you would expect: Pandora, Macy's, Hot topic, Spencer's gifts, there's even a great board game store. So why four stars instead of five? There are two main reasons for this. The first reason is that while there are a lot of stores, and there are the majority of the stores that you would expect, the mall is missing a few key stores that are needed. Specifically a toy store. There are several stores in the mall that have a small toy selection, but there isn't a store in the mall that just sells toys, and just sells like Legos. A LEGO store would be a great addition to any mall, I don't know if the Spokane Valley Mall is large enough to warrant the Lego store, but this mall needs a toy store. There is a Toys R Us section in the Macy's, but it's one of the smallest Toys R Us sections I've seen in any Macy's I've been in. Oh! And there's a great indoor playground at the end of the mall that you have to pay for. But there's also a great free play place down by the indoor playground. Both are good options for small kids. The second thing that brings this mall from four stars to five stars is the food court. I get that food courts are a weird proposition in 2025, but the pickings here are pretty slim. And other than Sbarro there's none of the staples that you would expect from a food court, although there is a cinnabon located elsewhere in the mall. There's also a large movie theater right by the mall, which is nice, it's also surrounded by a bunch of other stores that you're probably looking to shop at like Old Navy, Barnes & Noble, Dick's sporting goods. It's also surrounded by a bunch of restaurants like Red Robin, Buffalo wild wings, black house steakhouse. So if you're looking for a good mall experience definitely check this mall out. Don't forget to stop by my favorite store uncle's games.

In…read morecomparison to the NorthTown Mall which is located on Division, I feel this mall is far superior. It has two levels and you don't see a lot of vacant spots as you do with the NorthTown Mall. There is also a decent selection of stores and plenty of parking all around the mall. There isn't a parking garage but that doesn't seem to bother me. It does have a food court and also plenty of restrooms. On weekends it can get pretty busy which is actually a good thing considering malls have become less popular over the years. I still prefer to shop in person than online for most things. As far as cleanliness, they do a great job of keeping this place clean. It's not a huge mall by any means, but it does have a decent selection of stores and is a great place to come and pass the time away.
