I did cut them back and soak in cold water but they were so fresh when I received them and they stayed beautiful and fragrant all that time. they were mostly roses with some ranuncula and small pink flowers and greens. the pink flowers and greens are still going. Later, the delivery window changed to "by end of day" (8:00 p.m.), which was already disappointing. Now it's 3:30 a.m. and there is still no indication of when the flowers will actually be delivered. I didn't have the heart to tell her that they are almost always dead or near dead by the time they reach Florida. It was 90 degrees here on Mother's Day and they don't ship with water or ice and the roses were just about melted and I threw out half right away that were already dead. I revived the rest by quickly putting them in water in the sink and cutting the bottoms but they are barely hanging on now. I received them on Saturday. Every year my husband and his friends send flowers to their late friends mother because she has lost both of her children and they do this in their memory. Every year I make sure to send the flowers in time and coordinate everything knowing it will be the only flowers and gifts she receives. This year we went extra large and picked the prettiest bouquet we could find. For $200+ we made sure to select Mothers Day delivery, to hopefully make her day. Urban stems replaced the style we picked with a poor excuse for a replacement, when I tried to pick a different style I was told that "to ensure quality and delivery, this was my only option... except to cancel" without the adequate time to replace the flowers elsewhere, I was forced to stick with this ugly batch of carnations. I tracked the delivery all day to make sure they would be arriving on time. Low and behold - it's 3pm on Mothers Day and now I am being told they won't be delivered until tomorrow. Buying a bouquet from someone off the side of the highway would be better quality. These were supposed to be a get well soon gift and I'm so embarrassed. Sending dead flowers to someone is worse than not sending anything at all. I would not trust this company with flower delivery for an important event. I tried ordering Double the Margot for $169 for my mom for Mother's Day. I ordered them on May 3rd to be delivered on May 10th. That would be 7 days in advance, 5 business days, and not to mention they were offering delivery for Mother's Day well after my order on the 3rd. On May 8th I got an email telling me my order was "upgraded" to Double the Glamour that was being sold for $162. So I was upgraded to a cheaper product without refund. And then Mother's Day came and went with no delivery. I reached out to inform them my delivery was late and they offered to refund my shipping fee. That would be awesome except I didn't pay a shipping fee since the flowers were $169. So they offered to refund me $0 for not delivering a product. I would never use them again. In the process of cancelling my entire order as it is not 48 hours past and still no delivery. It's not a late delivery, it's straight up not coming. I just placed a one off order for an event a week before and selected the delivery date but when I checked details because it still hasn't arrived, they let me know it never shipped yet again no communication or time to make other arrangements.
