I ordered a fall arrangement for a friend's birthday. It was Gorgeous !! The flowers were so fresh!! I highly recommend! I will order again!

I got this bouquet of NJ field flowers from Posies 5 days ago and they still look as fresh as the day I bought them. I've been getting my flowers here for some time now and the quality is consistently great. Their flowers seem to last twice as long as from anywhere else and if something needs special care (like putting hydrangeas in warm water and not exposing them to the cold), they let me know. It's a great shop! read more

Posies - small arrangement 4 small space, glass vase inside - Florists Near Me - New York, New York

Posies is in the flower business to make the world a more beautiful place. I needed to send flowers to a friend on the upper westside who just lost her dog. The staff was great at helping me find the right bouquet for occasion, they were good listeners and they made me feel cared for. This is a great place to get flowers at a reasonable price. Lastly, I made a mistake on the delivery address of the order, they were patient with me, and beyond helpful. read more

Lovely custom bouquet arrangements. Very pricey, however! We were going to send our daughter a bouquet for her birthday as she lives in the Upper West Side neighborhood .... I changed my mind when I saw that it was $150.00. read more

We had the most BEAUTIFUL flowers for our valentines party! Highly recommend for the best flowers and service . Would use them again!

I'm not in NY so was dependent upon the florist to create a bouquet incorporating my requests. They seem to have a wide variety of flowers. Additionally, they were very thoughtful & persistent trying to make the delivery. The bouquet was lovely & their customer service was exceptional. I'm very pleased. read more

I used to love their flowers and prearranged bouquets BUT on Valentine's Day, I chose an arrangement that they priced at almost double the usual cost. I was surprised at their dismissive attitude when I questioned them. And even more surprised that Fairway had similar looking bouquets for half the price. I should have shopped around more. Usually florists have holiday discounts or specials, but their attitude tainted my interest in shopping there again. PS I almost never post reviews. read more

Walk the other way. I ordered a $100+ arrangement as a surprise gift to my fiancee for our couple's shower this past weekend. Posie's took my order late in the day, Saturday. Though they were helpful on the phone and ran card for $118.00, the flowers never arrived. I checked back several times during the night with the Maitre D of the restaurant. Nothing. No flowers were delivered. Called the florist today hoping to get some form of explanation. They investigated but are claiming they 'definitely delivered' the flowers, apparently to someone named Javier. The restaurant host's name was Sam and he told me he was working all day so nothing would have been delivered that he didn't see. He claims they never received anything. So the very special surprise never arrived and I'm the one left holding the $118 note. I was so excited to give this surprise to my fiancee and was disappointed that it didn't get delivered properly. What recourse does a New Yorker have in these situations where people take money from you but don't hold themselves accountable? Meh. Walk the other way. read more

The bouquets arrive as represented. I have only had wonderful experiences and for many years! Great service and value!

I am disappointed in the service provided by this company. I am a huge advocate in mom and pop shops and didn't want to go the route of an online flower company because there's so many. I called a few days prior 4/19/22 and enquired about a bouquet for my sister as a bday surprise to be delivered to her work. Her favorite flowers are peonies and I was told to order the pink signature bouquet because peonies would be $11 per one and this bouquet comes with peonies and that they would be getting an ordered in that Thursday morning 4/21/22 I ordered online and called back to make sure they received my order, I also requested a photo of the arrangement to be sent to me prior to delivery Pink signature ranges from $65-$125 I went with the large pink signature plus taxes and delivery was $157.18 everything was good to go, or that's what I thought. I never received a photo of the bouquet that I requested. The bouquet itself was delivered and I was not a large it was quite small. But what really made me upset was they didn't have any peonies in the bouquet what so ever. I contacted the floral shop and spoke with Kari. I was told that they only had coral peonies and The flower designers wanted to stick with the pink theme and therefore omitted the peonies all together. Kari admitted they should've called me to double check before they did the arrangement but they didn't. She was apologetic and spoke with the owner who gave me three options. 1. A laughable $25 credit to their flower shop, 2. They offered to pick up the arrangement and add the coral peonies even though it wouldn't match or 3. They could give me three peonies as a compensation. I felt like the options the owner gave me was a slap in the face. She didn't bother to talk to me nor did she try to make things right in my opinion. If I didn't complain and my sister didn't send me a picture of the arrangement they would've just let it be and would've just gotten away with just giving us something random that we did not order and or pay for. We ended up just asking for a refund and telling them to pick up the arrangement which they agreed to do. The only reason why I'm not giving this place only one star is because Kari was very professional and was nice enough to take care of the problem that she didn't cause. I've learned my lesson. Next time I'll just go with the online flower distributor like Urban Stems instead of trying to givesmall businesses my business. read more

I walked in there on Easter Sunday 2026 ... the lady in there with the round chubby face with glasses was very rude. I told her I wanted to spend $150 for a nice bouquet of roses. She's pointed too over 50 different types of roses and said just picked them out and bring to me..... I said I'm not the professional I would like someone professional too do this. That's when I explained too her that I buy flowers/roses for my daughter ever week. That's when she goes " is your daughter a purple or pink girl" with not a real concern. She charged me b4 you made the flowers. I used my wallet on my iPhone and it didn't go thru she goes do you have the physical card.. my left eyebrow lifted and I told I come here all the time. Oh do you have the number to card? I gave it too her the transaction was successful. She goes give us a few minutes and I'll my designer will make them. Meanwhile Im sitting in the doorway and watching people orders being made without paying up front and using they iPhone as payment. When I seen this I chuckle I said damn we still doing this in 2026 in nyc. I hope this lady with the round face and glasses isn't the owner. I spend about $4000-$5000 annually for flowers. We drove from Nj too NYC lol read more

Omg! Marissa saved the day! Their flowers are always beautiful! She was able to design a last minute anniversary gift and deliver!

I was flowered by this florist - I mean floored by this florist. :) Need a beautifully arranged bouquet for a centerpiece? A birthday? Or an elopement? Dont want to spend $$$ on flowers? If you need floral art on-demand, Definitely make sure to check this place out. It is amazing! Are you eloping in NYC? Any bride on a budget should make this their #1 spot. Why? Because they have bouquets that are artfully designed, ready to go, and you pick your price range $30-$50. I literally picked up this bouquet on the day of my elopement. They didn't know I was coming; I didn't call ahead and request this bouquet. Their selection of colors is as mesmerizing as their traditional and beautiful floral arrangements. I don't know the quality of pre-orders, but there "ready to go" bouquets are quite lovely. Service? Ready for this? I picked out my bouquet and went to the register to pay. The lady was on the phone taking another order... she looks at my bouquet, grabs a huge rose and yanks it out!!! Before I could gasp and say anything - to my astonishment - she replaced the rose with a fresher rose!!! She didn't know her bouquet would be my wedding bouquet but that's how much they care about their quality. Sweet, talented and thoughtful florist at Posies and I'm forever grateful. read more

Wow! I got my wedding bouquet here (got married at the courthouse, just wanted a white floral bouquet with some greenery, nothing intensely fancy) and called to see if they could help. For about $50, they crafted a very pretty bouquet. They have 3 tiers of bouquets ($30, $40, and $50+). They have a bouquet wall, but I placed an order ahead of time because I knew I needed white flowers. The party I appreciated was there was no questioning of "What is this arrangement for?" "Is this a bridal bouquet?" Other florists immediately had special up charges for anything that was "wedding" specific. I just wanted white flowers, and Posies delivered. Thank you! read more

Ordered a same day delivery designer's choice and upgraded to a medium. Definitely didn't match the aesthetic of the photos I saw online, and was unhappy with the color and floral choices. I guess I shouldn't have left it up to the designer because the color choices and bright green dianthus seemed tacky to me. However, was impressed that they accommodated a last minute same-day delivery. read more

Wow. Susan can truly create happiness and love for everyone. I live in California and wanted to send some flowers to surprise my girlfriend who had recently moved into a new home in NY. She was so pleasant over the phone and so kind and patient in helping me choose the perfect colors and bouquet for her. She made everything easy 2,798 miles away from me. She took the time and asked my budget and timeline. I didn't mind when it was going to be sent for I didn't want to rush Susan. She was so honest and asked if it were ok to wait a day, for she was receiving a new shipment of fresh blooms from Holland. I was like "YES!" Susan created a dream and my girlfriend was so happy and so was I! She delivered it on time and the bouquet was amazingly gorgeous. Thank you Posies and thank you Susan. You made everything at ease and with happiness and love. read more

If I could give a 4.5, I would! I absolutely loved the layout and simplicity of Posies. I went a few weeks ago for my anniversary and we chose 2 bouquets together from their wall! It was such a cool way to view and display each prearranged bouquet. All of the bouquets are beautiful and it's also easy to see the cost of each. Considering the size, arrangement, and choice of flowers, I thought the bouquets were pretty affordable and reasonable for the area the store is in. Even the cheapest bouquet was pretty big. They also had a wide variety of flowers in buckets on the side if you wanted to create your own - and the flowers ranged in color too which is great! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because for the price of the bouquets, I wish they would have walked us through how to extend the life of the bouquet or care for the bouquet. It's possible I missed a sign but I thought our wrapped bouquets would have included flower food, but they didn't come with any. I think offering even a short walk-through on the bouquet, with or without flower food, would be a huge help. Sadly, our bouquets lasted about a week even with water changes. Other than that, I'd love to see more flower shops like this! read more

Posies is truly a community gem. For example - I walked by last night with my son and daughter who were less than happy to be leaving a fun birthday party. I commented that the flowers are beautiful and can be smelled halfway up the block. The kind gentleman in front told me to stop and handed my kids a rose each. It brought a big smile to my kids faces and just reminded me of why I love this store so much. Their flowers are beautiful and some of the most affordable in the neighborhood. I come in whenever I have a reason to buy flowers and they always arrange the most beautiful bouquets. Highly highly recommend. read more

Excellent service, friendly neighborhood vibe. Great selection of florals, succulents and plants. Something for every occasion.

I was running around the city on Saturday but had to have a gift at dinner for a friend who loves roses. After reading Yelp reviews, Posies was my choice and calling this florist did not disappoint. The florist who took the order was very kind and helpful; Suggesting flowers be delivered with water tubes to the local restaurant where we were having dinner to ensure freshness. They advised my calling the restaurant to inform them of the flowers delivery. The bouquet was reasonably priced for the beautiful roses which delighted my friend on an important birthday. read more

Posies - Beautiful! - Florists Near Me - New York, New York

Posies did my wedding bouquet and it was GORGEOUS! I got so many compliments on the flowers! It was simple, just like I wanted - bright yellow calla lilies with an ivory ribbon tied around it, at the exact stem length I requested and arranged beautifully. I mentioned the Free Delivery Yelp promotion and they delivered it to my hotel for free right on time the day of my wedding! I only ordered it a week in advance, and I don't think they would have even needed that much time. Highly recommend! The only somewhat disappointing thing is that I asked to have a medium-sized yellow rose sent too, which I pointed out to the woman assisting me. She told me that she'd send over a cluster with buds too so that I could have options. She threw those extra ones in at no additional charge, which was really nice. My only disappointment was that the roses I ended up receiving weren't quite bloomed yet or medium-sized, so unfortunately, it didn't have the same affect in my hair that I was hoping for. read more

Yelp iPhone application to the rescue! I was walking around the Upper West Side and needed to find some flowers. A couple of clicks later I had a map that lead me right to Posies. I bought some beautiful flowers but they seemed a bit pricey - I paid close to $30 for 6 peonies. The girl who helped me was very nice and the flowers opened beautifully the day after I bought them.
