I'm writing this review for 2 reasons even though I havent been to this place yet but my GF loves coming here and shes really into flowers.. so today shes there and buying another arrangement and sent me photos of all the flowers, such a beautiful assortment! First reason Im writing this review is because the negative reviews on google seem like such BS... one review is negative because the man asked if the flowers are cat friendly... wtf are you talking about dude. Its a flower shop not a veterinarian.. you should know which flowers are good or not since you're the cat owner. Second reason is because of bs reviews about customer service. Both reviewers seemed to think they're the only people to exist and that the shop owner needs to bow before them.. Give me a break, they're a busy flower shop and they were helping other people... allowing you to look at the options until you come and tell them what you want. Stop being babys and then running to google reviews and trying to hurt a small business. 5 stars all the way for being straight up New Yorkers and having quality products. read more

TERRIBLE service, TERRIBLE products I went with my son to order a corsage and boutonnière for his prom. We described what we wanted. Two days later, we came to pick up the order and we were SHOCKED!!! The roses they used were wilted, stained and HUGE, so big that they would not fit on my son's lapel and the wrist corsage would have reached the elbow of my son's date. When I asked them if they thought the items were too large, they were rude and told me that they would be fine. The corsage and boutonnière were UNACCEPTABLE and the staff were extremely rude. We picked these up the afternoon of the prom and when I asked if they could help us make them smaller or redo, they refused to help. My son and I were extremely disappointed, these were not inexpensive items and they treated us poorly. I would DISCOURAGE ANYONE from using this florist! read more

I just can't say enough good things about this flower shop. I've been sending high-end flower arrangements from this shop for years and they never fail to elicit such a happy response from whoever I'm gifting. This shop is a small shop, but their designer(s) create really stunning pieces. Don't pass this shop up for another one, you can't go wrong. They're terrific!! They've made countless birthdays and anniversaries extra special and they made me come out looking good--because your recipient will be WOWed! Highly recommend! I ordered a bridal bouquet, a few boutonnières and corsages for my scaled down wedding ceremony. The flowers were delivered to me in very good shape, on time, on the wedding day. They look fresh and lovely, and just as we discussed. The service was very nice too. They accommodated my request to request that I receive a photo of the bouquet before the delivery, in case I would like to change anything. Every aspect of the experience was great! read more

CAUTION: would rate it zero stars if I could. There are many other florists in the area that are much better and much more professional. Went in and bought a bouquet for $25 which was very small and had a lot of flower buds. The florist assured me the buds would open in a few days when I asked. After a week they didn't open so went back to see if they could get me a new bouquet or at a minimum either a discount or partial refund. The florist didn't budge and said the buds were never going to open. Why would I buy $25 worth of buds??? There are many other florists in the area who have better flowers and are much more professional. read more

I live on the west coast. I contacted a few florists in the area. My best friend works less than 3 miles from the shop. I was looking for something very specific (the best arrangement of orange Orchids for her Birthday) Blooming Couture Flowers made it happen! I utilized yelp business messaging, emailed the shop and called and left a voice mail. (My work day tends to take over.) I'm pleased to say the response time was impressive in all methods of communication. Ozzy was amazing and created something so beautiful, an entire practice complimented my best friend and those beautiful orchids. She definitely felt the love for her Birthday! Everything went smoothly and upon delivery, she was even told how to take care of the orchids so they really last! Thoughtful. Lastly, I also received a picture of what was being delivered, before it was delivered! Amazing experience. Knocked it out of the park! I have been a customer for years. I purchase the same arrangement every few months. This time, while out of town one of 3 the orchids died. I felt it should be replaced since the other two were perfectly fine. After a bit of back and forth, it was replaced. I love their work and can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I have purchased many lovely flowers and arrangements here. The woman who seems to own the store is nice. However, the rude man who was working today- January 17, 2020 (not the nicer gentleman who was assisting him) has ensured I will never shop there again. As I did earlier today, I will now go around the corner to another nearby florist who is actually in the business of selling flowers instead of insulting customers. read more

Beware. They are NOT reliable. I placed an order for a special occasion - a $100 bouquet with specific flowers and colors. When placing my order I stressed that I needed to pick it up when they opened at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday due to my catching a train out of state to my event. They confirmed with me that they would be open then and it would be ready. Unfortunately, they did not bother to show up for work on time that day. After waiting in the freezing temperature outside of the store until 10:40 a.m. I had to scramble and grab some available flowers at another store around the corner. I almost missed my train as well. This type of careless disregard to customers is breathtaking. One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had with a business. I will NEVER patron this flower shop ever again. read more

That the shop is under new management is crystal clear as soon as you walk in, even to a non-expert like me. Recently I returned from a vacation and my special someone had Blooming Couture deliver a bouquet for my home coming. I assumed he had used a superior Upper East Side Florist because the arrangement was so beautiful, sophisticated and unusual. Huh? It comes from a place around the corner? I was flabbergasted. I haven't written a review in AGES, but I had to get on and recommend this amazing florist. I found this shop through a Google Maps search, which led me to their impressive website. I filled out the online form, but followed up with a call just to make sure my order was received. The man I spoke to over the phone was hilariously candid but also super polite as he confirmed my order details, and I felt that the flower delivery was in great hands. Highly recommended! read more

Very much like the vibe of this place which has really great plant material and actually causes you to feel the presence of the beautiful earth and plant world unlike the shops whose plants feel like plastic products. The florist was very good to do business with and pleasant; however there was a large problem: he delivered a creation which disregarded most of the flower choices we'd discussed because he used my ref. to an arrangement on his website. This was bad. However, he graciously took it away and returned in 1/2 hour with the correction, and it is truly gorgeous. Because of his grace, and it's beauty I'm not holding back any stars.
