This florist spray paints their flowers! I wish I had known, but they don't mention it anywhere! The paint started falling off all of the bouquets during my wedding event, it was just so embarrassing and awful. Their customer service was also so unpleasant. Terrible! Just terrible So disappointed Ordered through uber eats, flowers and balloons for my friends birthday and they cancelled the flowers because the ones I wanted weren't available. I called and the lady told me to order other flowers "for pick up" and she'll make sure they get picked up with my balloons and then she didn't give them to the driver and won't refund the money for the flowers. Borderline fraudulent. They provided us spray painted flowers for our wedding without any warning. Embarrassed us, paint chips flaking on tablecloths and on guests clothing. We would have been better off going to the local grocery store and buying some bouquets, but really wanted high end florals. They also provided the wrong vases (though this error pales in comparison to spray painted flowers). When we complained, expecting a full refund, they declined to even provide a response -- all they said is the complaint was received more than 24 hours after delivery!! That's it!!! They still owe us just under $1,000. This is a scam organization posing as a high end flower shop. I am still open to being refunded and would update this review accordingly, but if you don't see any update, then this situation still stands. read more

Terrible! I called earlier in the afternoon to place an order and was told by a young lady to come to the store. I asked what time they closed and was told 9 PM. I traveled all the way from Brooklyn and arrived around 7:15 PM. When I walked in, a Hispanic man with a terrible blonde mohawk was helping a white woman -- smiling warmly, laughing, and providing great service. But once he finished with her, he ran right past me without so much as a "hello" or "how can I help you?" Just a cold stare, like I was a problem for even walking in. I told him I needed to purchase some roses, and he immediately shut me down with, "Oh no, I can't -- I have an order for 100 roses." I explained that I had called earlier and was specifically told to come in. He sucked his teeth, kept working on the bouquet he was making, then lazily asked, "What color?" I gave him the colors I was looking for, and without a word, he yanked open the fridge and pulled out a bunch of old, drooping roses -- petals literally falling off. I asked if he could use fresher ones since they were for my niece's graduation, and he rolled his eyes, tossed the old ones back, and said, "That's all we have," even though I could clearly see fresher roses in the fridge behind him. He just didn't want to bother. I'm not one to leave reviews, but as someone who manages a business myself, this kind of customer service is unacceptable. It was disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I wasted time and money traveling to this establishment just to be treated with attitude and disregard. No one deserves to be spoken to or treated like that, especially when they're walking in to spend their hard-earned money. I work in the West, and because of the time difference, Flordel was closed when I was asked to make a company purchase of flowers for a VIP client. I was happy to see that I could order on line. I placed an order on Monday for delivery Tuesday, and I immediately received an Order confirmation to my office email address. I thought it was all handled - and by a reputable company - as they have 4 stars on Google. Boy, was I wrong. I received a call from the President of our company that the VIP client never received our flowers. I called Flordel, and they told me my order was CANCELLED. It has been three days, and they never emailed me or called me to notify me that there was an issue. They "said" they did, but they could not provide me with any email proof or proof that they called me. I had no emails or voicemails from them all week. I aske them why they cancelled, and they said they could not verify my identity. Note that when you order their flowers on line, no where does it say that you must verify your identity to order flowers. They just take your credit card number and send you a "Thank you for your order from Flordel Florist!" email. So, I said, "Let's just reorder the flowers right now for delivery today (since they were already three days late). They said OK and proceeded to take my credit card info a second time. I received another "Thank you for your order from Flordel Florist!" today. They told me I needed to send me a copy of my driver's license for my identity. Note that I have never had to give a florist my IDs to order flowers, and I have been doing this a few times a month for six years now. But OK, I'll do that. I texted them my driver's license, and they called me to say that they are AGAIN cancelling my order. When I asked, "Why?" they said that the credit card name doesn't match the ID. My card is a company card that has the name I used at work (my nickname), and my IDs, of course, have my formal name. It is not even the last name in question; it's my first name! I explained that to them and asked the woman on the phone if she ever heard of a nickname. I guess she has not, because they refused to understand the concept of a company credit card. If you ever even think of using Flordel, run and run far away. They are the worst florist I have ever dealt with in the last six years. I then Googled another florist and found G&J Florist, who took my information over the phone, ordered the flowers to be delivered today, sent me my receipt within five minutes, were friendly over the phone, and they did NOT need to verify my identity to order a bouquet of flowers. I wish I saw the reviews before choosing this florist to deliver my Valentine's Day flowers. I paid $125 for flowers to be delivered to my husbands work on Valentines Day. I told them to deliver anytime after 5pm. They deliver until 9:00pm so this is a 4 hour window. I called the day before to confirm delivery and they said that they have the notes and confirmed that it will be delivered in that time frame. On the day of delivery I received a text that the flowers were delivered at 2:00pm. My husband was not at work at that time and therefore did not receive the flowers. I called to ask why this happened and the woman said they had a 250 orders for Valentine's Day women just hung up the phone on me. 250 doesn't seem like that much for Valentine's Day in NYC and if you're charging $150-400 per delivery then you better follow the delivery instructions. If you are unable to fulfill the promised orders then you should have never took my money in the first place especially when I called the day before to confirm the delivery window. I am trying to dispute with my credit card company since my husband never received flowers but do your self a favor and don't bother giving them your business. read more

I placed an order last night for a 24 rose bouquet with a letter note during their Black Friday deal and received a WhatsApp message after the transaction thanking me for Choosing Flordel. When I called today to check on the order status they told me that they haven't received my order nor have any of my information. I proceeded to ask they can honor the same price the day after since they lost my order but they did not accept and stated that they would have to charge me the normal full price. And I chose not to say anything as I use this business regularly so I thought it was an honest mistake. Tonight, I sent my girlfriend 18 pink forever roses and not only is there only 17 when they arrive, but half of them are brown, and absolutely not as they are described by the business. Terrible Quality Terrible service For Mother's Day, I ordered flowers. I deliberately spoke to a representative on the phone who took the order as I didn't want to leave to chance something going wrong. Being one week before Mother's Day I felt confident the order would be handled properly. I had the order delivered on Saturday the day before Mother's Day so it wouldn't be a rush order. When the flowers arrived, I was flabbergasted. The roses were grocery store quality, small headed roses and four of the roses were fading fast. I received an auto reply the same day from the company asking about my satisfaction. I immediately wrote back I was misled and totally dissatisfied with the quality and size of the roses. Being Mother's Day weekend I didn't expect a call back to my response. Immediately Monday morning I called the company and I was told I would get a call back in 2 hours. Five hours later I called only to be told I had to call back later as no one can make a decision. Finally I called again and the manager was rude, disrespectful and could care less if he lost me as a customer. He kept saying if you don't complain same day as delivery to bad. I ordered the flowers around 9 pm on Thursday and the confirmation page confirmed I could pick up the flowers the following day Friday between 9-7. So I wrote in the chat they had available last night and I received a response today (Friday) at 5 pm stating that they would have it ready for me tomorrow (Saturday).
