I got the cinnamon banana french toast. Fluffy, light, and deeply satisfying. They caramelize the bananas in brown sugar so it's rich and flavorful, and they give a generous amount of syrup. I was so happy with my meal, I really wanted to bring it back with me because I was full after eating three of the five slices, but our server took my plate without asking if I wanted a box!!! I never suggested that it was a "hidden fee", I just pointed out that it is a very high fee for ordering online. As pointed out before, ordering online directly from a restaurant does not usually incur a fee, let alone a $6 fee. If Diana feels that ordering online is so onerous, then maybe she should deactivate that feature and encourage her customers to phone in their orders. Diana should also consider not badgering customers that did not have a good experience with her restaurant and consider taking some classes in Customer Service 101. It's not a good way to run a business and the fastest way to lose customers. ***UPDATE FOLLOWING DIANA M's RESPONSE*** It's unfortunate that the owner responded with excuses and condescension. A simple "Hey, sorry for the mishap, we will make sure it won't happen again" would have sufficed. At least that way, she likely would have had a returning customer since the food is good. Our waitress who was very kind and courteous brought us our food with an extra bowl for dividing the soup. However the bowl of soup is around 40oz and the only utensil we had to split the soup with, was a plastic tea spoon. So, i asked if she had anything else like a ladle or if she could have the kitchen do it. She hesitated a little as if she wasn't sure and then decided to take it to the kitchen. When she brought it back, it was obvious that they had just dumped half of the content of the one bowl into the other very unthought fully as if they really didn't want to do it. The bowl had drippings all around it. One bowl had mostly all the chicken and the noodles in it and the other just the broth. So, i fixed it up for my parents. My mother, whose appetite tends to spike with a good dish presentation, hardly ate anything. My father on the other hand does not care. So, he had most of the soup. My Thai noodle salad was good but nothing special. And to make things worse. We were constantly having to chase flies off of our food. I guess this latter one comes with dining outdoors. But i am pretty sure that restaurants must have a way to keep the flies away. In the end. It was not the best experience. We were probably over capacity for the space, but the staff did an awesome job maneuvering around, refilling pictures, placing new pizzas, and just generally meeting all of our needs. Everyone on staff was so upbeat and accommodating, but we must have been the most stressful party in the place so they're angels on earth. I was especially pleased that their largest TV on the room has an HDMI cable all ready to go so we could share our slideshow content.
