First time trying this place. Not impressed. I had the Al Pastor tacos (3 for $13.50) and the cheese dip w/chips. I love Al pastor, but theirs didn't compare to what I'm used to. It was basically pork w/pineapples added. The pork wasn't marinated or flavorful at all. They were a good size though. The cheese dip was your basic cheese dip, nothing fancy. The staff were super nice and helpful. The inside of the restaurant was clean. I would probably try going again to try something else.

I decided to eat here this evening and what a surprise. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the bowl with Birria. Best birria I have had before so tender it just fell apart. It came with a large portion of warm cheese dip. They have a fresh salsa and sauce bar. I tried them all, they have an orange sauce that is spicy but great. The bowl came with chick peas, lettuce, pico, corn, beets, rice and beans. It was a great size. The inside is very clean and modern and they play fun music. You must give this place a try.

Pretty much just street tacos. I've had worse, but I've also had better. Nice enough looking place, but the tap water was terrible.

I got the carnitas and the birria and they were both great - especially the carnitas.

There was a decent amount of people traffic which was good. I got seated right away, chips before I even ordered. The salsa was very good and chips were good also. Decided on the carnitas plate, which is my go to across the various Mexican food places I go. The portions were great, the food was probably a 3-4 star but total package was 5. Staff was friendly and helpful, the salsa was really good, the food was hot (the plate was extremely hot too). The pork was just a little dry but tasted good with salsa and sour cream in a taco. Good tortillas as well. I only tried this spot for Mexican food in the area, but would go again if staying nearby. Ambiance was fairly lively, they had a good amount of people eating and also working. Was a nice dinner.

We've always ordered the Shrimp and Crab enchiladas and the Chicken Yucatan. Both are delicious and bursting with flavors. The beef taco salad was something new I tried. I would have preferred the pieces to be cubed and not in strips. Their complimentary chips are alright, but they need to improve the salsa. It needs to be chunky. I always ask for their white sauce. Overall, I love coming here and would love to try other dishes too.

I noticed the ice cream/yogurt spot nearby was hopping. There was a person asking for change outside the front door. We were greeted by an enthusiastic host and seated immediately at a booth up front. The server came by within seconds and brought us water and place settings. We decided to get the chips and salsa for an appetizer and a pair of melting chimichangas for entrees. I can't resist some chorizo and steak. My partner got the chimichanga without chorizo and with chicken. The ambiance was colorful with beautifully painted murals on each wall, and the atmosphere was undeniably loud. There were lots of patrons. The place was packed, even at the bar, so your mileage may vary. We received our orders within minutes of each other, so there wasn't much of a wait time. The chips and salsa were homemade, fresh, warm, and delicious (muy rico). Same for the entrees; exactly what I want in a Mexican food restaurant. The chorizo and steak were well-cooked, seasoned, and chopped finely, but not ground. I was in heaven with that chimichanga. We had to take home leftovers. The next night, heated in the oven at 325 for 30 minutes, they were similarly excellent. The night ended without dessert, sadly (too full). However, the server was quick and efficient, and he was always around to fill water and bring anything we needed throughout the meal. Great experience overall. We will definitely return here whenever we have a hankering for some good Mexican food at reasonable prices. I can recommend this place to anyone who appreciates hearty and filling Mexican food.

When I visit a Mexican restaurant, I always get a hard shell taco. I love the ability to compare a basic food item to other places. Theirs was very good - ample meat. For my main, I can't remember what it was called but it was a trio of meats - steak, chicken and shrimp - grilled, with mixed veggies. I asked for only grilled onions and they did not disappoint!! Excellent!! The server was very attentive throughout the meal then disappeared on us when we needed the check. But not bad. But the funny part, we sat there for a long while after we got the bill not realizing we were supposed to pay up front. lol. Highly recommend!

The highlight was definitely the tacos, but the refried beans were the best I've ever had from a Mexican restaurant. Very rich and filling. If you're tired of paying an arm and a leg for mediocre tacos, this is the place for you. It was well worth what I paid. The Texas margarita was a great and had a nice zip. Not too sweet and a generous pour. Ambiance was typical of this type of joint. There is neat lighting behind the bar. I highly recommend!
