Do not purchase from this company in-store or online. You will not receive all your items as the warehouse does not fulfill your order in the allotted time the company has set. I've only had a bad experience with this company's online portal. The customer service is terrible, they will only offer free shipping as a gesture however, you already get free shipping on all order over $100. read more

Urban is alright in my books. Their clothes can be expensive, but not all the time. It's weird. I can pick up one thing and be blown away that they want $80 for this tiny piece of material, or I can expect to pay around $40, and it turns out to be $20. It's bizarre. I like the style of clothes that Urban carries - especially for guys. They have some really great stuff for guys. They carry a trendy, edgy, but kind f preppy style clothes for guys and it's hot! I don't buy a lot of the women's clothes but when I do, it's the less flashy stuff. Trendy but feminine. They have some nice stuff! read more

For the price of the clothes they offer, Urban Behavior is actually a great store. First off, it's incredibly huge, which I wasn't expecting. There are two levels of clothes; the top ones in all women's clothes while the bottom is both men's and women's. The selection for men is decent. It has a urban style to it, and the clothes look more expensive than they actually are. I got a couple of short sleeve shirts for about $30, which is a good deal. The prices are very similar to Bluenotes, I would say. The staff were a bit awkward. It was like they were scared to ask me if I needed anything. I guess that's one of the disadvantages of being tall and black. read more

Generally this store isn't quite my style so I don't often visit. But it does have a HUGE selection of casual clothing, making it a good destination for when I want to gift other people some pretty standard items (casual t-shirts for example). The quality isn't amazing: clothing is often thin, but this type of store is good for a visit when you need to add a few fashion items to a wardrobe that you don't plan on owning long term. I've never had attentive service here, but I have had some great inexpensive buys over the years. If I know what I'm looking for, I can get in and out of this store pretty quickly. read more

This is a really cool store; just the look of it looks high fashion. I saw this store while I was having a cup of coffee in the food court; personally I think the food court area is a bad location for any store. Anyways, just by looking at the manikins all dressed up in these modern, high fashion looking clothes I thought of America's Next Top Model and they type of stuff they would wear on the show. I really didn't want to go in because I thought the store would be filled with high priced items that I would be too afraid to touch. But after I finished my coffee I decided to check it out. I saw some really fantastic stuff. They have this really cute top with an oval neck, sleeves to the elbows and the length of the top was about to the hip region. I really liked the pattern also; it kind of looked like a vintage style. They also have some really cute skirts and purses. As I walked further into their store, it was really big; I saw this really nice black raincoat type of jacket for about $58.99; it was hip length and plain looking but something about it seemed sexy. I took a look at some tops that were on for $19.99; I really liked some of them. They were plain looking, solid colors with an oval neck and sleeves to the elbows. They were really nice. They have some cool looking jeans in the faded and ripped style. I don't know about you but the ripped and faded look is kind of stupid, but these jeans actually looked good. I think you have to have the right body and legs to pull them off, I know I don't, but they were interesting. I was really surprised with this store. They have a lot of great items for both men and women that looked really high fashion and expensive but the price was very reasonable. This would be one place that I would keep coming back to if I could fit their clothes (one day!). But I just really liked the style of their clothes. I suggest you go and check it out for yourself. You might find a lot of things you like. The store was very big and very modern looking. It was a pretty interesting store. Oh, be careful on the stairs. read more

Urban straddles the line between expensive designer fashion and cheaper clothes. The stock they carry here generally is not as comprehensive as their City Centre location, but it is still quite varied. They carry a lot of Diesel and Selected, as well as J. Lindeberg, Hugo Boss, and Jack & Jones for men. Womens' brands tend to be a lot more diverse, rotating heavily with each season. They also have a fairly large denim selection for both genders, though the vast majority is pre-distressed fashion denim (True Religion, Diesel, Rock and Republic), which is usually a bit too expensive given its seasonal nature. The merchandise as a whole is a bit difficult to quantify. Clothes are usually dressy casual, with a lot of offbeat styles. Certain brands can be very expensive, while others are more akin to something you might find at H&M. There is also a selection of accessories and jewellery with varying price points and quality. Size runs also vary depending on the brand and style, though they usually stock one of every size. Overall, prices are not the worst, and sales can be generous, as items will be repeatedly marked down. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. Some will offer to check for more sizes, or even put in orders from other locations, while a smaller minority won't bother. Their floor space is also very large, and it's used quite well. Stock is usually displayed on low tables or on sparse hanging bars, which creates an open and uncrowded atmosphere. The music is usually fairly mellow and not irritating. Urban is a bit hit-and-miss. To its credit, it usually gets things right. There are some interesting pieces to be found, but you need to do some digging to get to them. Prices are alright, but you can never walk in with the guarantee that the store is carrying something you will like, which sometimes makes shopping there feel like a waste of time. Designer pieces are also usually very seasonal, so it's better to frequent the store irregularly and check the sale sections. If you are not overly picky, though, this is a good destination. read more

Urban reminds me a lot of High Grade but just a little better. The clothes aren't as flashy and aren't as overpriced (still pretty up there) but here I can find some things I would actually wear. That being said I have rarely bought anything from here because the things I do like are so ridiculously priced. The women's clothing is a bit cheaper so girls might find this store a bit more enjoyable than I do. The store is worth a look because it does have some good stuff but I still think this is just an overrated store and you can find much better clothing elsewhere. read more

I was looking for a cheaper type winter coat and hit up about 15 places in WEM . This place was on my way out to the bus station in phase 2 so i checked it out. It's black saturday but the mall isn't really that busy. U.P is a nice casual clothing store carrying a variety of mens/womens clothes and boots. Didn't take me long to find a nice winter bomber type jacket with a fur hood edging and it was 50% off for a total of about $74 . And to my happy amazement it was shipped ALL THE WAY FROM CHINA for that low cost so it's a really exotic bargain. Thank god for the Silk Road. This was the only store i found that carried XL and XXL sizes.I'm a 'plus size' kinda guy. I'll have to go back some time and check out more things. No service to look for things today probably because they had 4 people at the till. I'd rather browse myself anyways. read more

I've gone in about 4 times when my boyfriend gets a gift card for Christmas. The service is passable. Once I was in the store and two teenage associates were gossiping on the sales floor and didn't even look up to say hi, and another time we were greeted as soon as we walked in. The prices are decent, the tidiness is okay for the most part. I won't ever become a regular, but I'm not going to randomly start refusing to go. I even got a nice smile from someone this time. tldr; Service is hit and miss, the clothes are good, prices are decent. If you don't mind not having help like me it's nice. read more

i dont live in edmonton, but im visting there in a few weeks. There is a urban planet where i live, and i have to say i really like it alot! their prices are always so cheap!! They always have nice dresses or dressy shirts, and their yoga pants are alot cheaper then anything like Lululemon, which is really good, the quality seems pretty similar also. At our Urban Planet every day they have a 50% off on selected items, so im hoping when i visit this one they will have something similar! :) read more

I had a great time at Urban today shopping with my fiance. We were shopping for him and we found lots of great stuff! We ended up leaving with two shirts and a cardigan. I found lots of stuff on the ladies side too but didnt try anything on. The sales associate who was helping us was very attentive and helpful (I think his name was Tom?) and great at making suggestions. Overall really great shopping experience and everything we picked up was at a very reasonable price point. read more

I love Urban Behaviour! Sadly due to the most recent store restructuring, the store dropped the landslide majority of it's men's clothing. However, they added a large knockoff cologne table for less than $5! Massive store size. Men's clothing is now immediately on the left as you walk into the store (jeans, hoodies, t-shirts and shorts depending on season). Women's wear is upstairs. Blouses and tops to the right. footwear and bottoms downstairs. The cashout line has sunglass towers as well as belts and accessories. I find the staff extremely helpful and accessible. Bring back all the men's clothing! read more

I feel like Urban is a rip-off. Whenever I go in no one helps me and when they do it's when i'm about to leave.. so thats just stupid. Decent clothing but nothing extravagant. Not a fan of the layout of the store because I think its too distracting and doesn't attract your focus really. Mehhhhh read more

This is a mass market, generic clothing store that I generally don't go in to. However, I was looking for a wide belt to go with my convention costume this year, and was having a hard time finding something, so I was looking everywhere. If you need stuff on a budget and don't really care about great quality, this place is for you. The service is terrible. I did find a belt that would work, but it was missing the price tag. When I finally tracked someone down to enquire about it, and see if they had any other sizes that I could try, she looked me up and down and said, "I don't think we have anything that will work for you." Granted, I'm pregnant, but the belt I was wondering about fit just fine. The assumption that it wasn't working or that someone in "my condition" wouldn't be able to find anything in their store was a huge miss with me. I gave her the belt and left. There are other stores out there who will give me fabulous service regardless of my pregnant status, and the quality will be a million times better. I gave two stars because I did find something like what I was looking for. If I was judging on service alone, it would be one. read more

What a disaster this store is! And manager, Dan, is a complete jerk. After trying on clothes in the digesting change rooms, I waited in line for 15 minutes. Without any warning, manager walks up and closes till, by placing sign on till. I asked what is going on and he tells us to go to another line. Which was about 20 people deep. Another associate told us he would be two minutes and to wait. I said I would wait till he is done whatever he was doing. When he rang in my items, a lot of the clothing he rang in at full price. He kept getting angry at me for showing him certain items were one sale.. Then rudely blamed staff.. After transaction, he said he gave me discounts. I couldn't ring up see because there is no window to view sales. I paid and took my Recipt. Immediately I came back because half my items were charged to me at full price. Immediately he again snapped and said I needed to get back in line. Which was 20 people long again!. Now I have been in store for over 30 mins simply trying to pay for things. A lady in line let me In front of her. (Thank you) He didn't give me a new Recipt or change my transaction, he made me get more items to make it the same price. He simply took off security tags. When asked him for manager information he said he is the boss.. I finally asked for corporate. He threw a card at me and walked away. I will never ever ever be stepping foot in another urban planet. Plus I will tell everyone I know how disrespectful they are to their customers. Jerk read more

Honestly the clothes and prices are okay. But I have completely stopped shopping there because they make there clothes a size bigger than what they are (Ex. M feels like a L) so there already bigger and I'm an extra small and I asked for that size and the workers tell me they don't carry Xs WTF?!? I think that's fucked up because then realistically all they carry is M and up. Will never ship here again read more

they have sweet stuff and i love this store but the staff get worse everytime i come i swear. I asked about a sweater on a mannequin that i absolutely loved and thought might actually look good on me ( have decently broad shoulders for a girl so lots fit funny) and the girl i asked didnt know so she asked another girl... they looked for maybe 2 seconds and couldnt find it and said yeah we dont know. and that was that. DONT DISPLAY THINGS YOU CANT FIND!!!! when i worked in retail our displays were of whats in close range to the mannequin. ridiculous. and i was fumbling 12 items in my hand for the whole visit to the store without one person aknowledging this... really!? and then i seen something my best friend would like so i texted her a picture to see if i was to buy her one and one associate said very VERY rudely "dont take pictures of our products" when she could have been like "Im sorry we have a policy that we cant allow our customers to take pictures of our product." that would have been fine. but really... say it rude.. why the heck not! i was super irritated. and then she followed me around as if i was going to steal something... YES im going to walk out with this pile of clothes taller than my head... Get real. anyways, go for the cheap prices and decent stuff.. dont expect staff help. you will be lucky to get it. read more
