The restaurant is close by to many popular locations. Good customer service and large sitting area. There were many options on the menu to choose from, but the food was dry. I ordered the lime marinated steak and rice with a salad. The steak was unseasoned and more like heated up. The only thing that was okay was the orange rolls.

Grilled shrimp and veggies over seasoned rice, with side salad and an orange roll.

I'm wondering if it was my fault for not ordering hibachi from the demonstration grill, but I was thinking since the restaurant was empty I was going it a service ordering from a table, but my soup and salad came out after my hibachi meal. I think the waiter forgot about it because I had to so if it was still coming. When it did come, the soup looked like mostly water (see photos) and the salad was over drenched in dressing. I've never seen that much dressing in a salad my entire life. The meat wasn't hot but the fried rice really saved the day. It was salty, but I prefer mine that way. I like the location of this place so I'm hoping that next visit will be different.

Food 7/10 Service 6/10…read moreAmbiance 6/10 Food was good some our meat had that almost going bad smell to it. But they use good marinades and seasonings. Sides on the buffet were good fried wings, spring rolls, fries. The gyoza dumplings had pork in them so I didn't get to try them. Loved the Hershey ice cream from the cooler, probably the best part of the evening. Our server forgot about us but the manager and other hosts and servers attended to us You order your meats by scanning the QR code. I didn't initially like this but since our server disappeared Servers please know how to distinguish bt overseas south Asians and born & raised south Asians. I know my skin kin can be cheap. But I'm a person for the ppl and so are most of my friends. I'm a big tipper, if the service is good. I easily leave $20s when I'm taken care of. Our server didn't change our drinks all night. We basically only saw him twice. I still tipped a little more than 15% for my $36 bill. They use bright white lights here. I can't stand that lighting. And the vibes and decor weren't like Korean places with Kpop and fun aesthetics. It was kinda of a mix between old and new. It wasn't crowded on a Saturday night either. I'll only come here if Stone Age has too long of a wait next time. Hate to compare but Stone Age is 9/10.

I had a wonderful experience with David L and Tammy at this new restaurant located on John Hawkins…read moreParkway. The restaurant and concept are new to Hoover, but according to their website they have locations in Duluith, GA, Norfolk, VA, and Pensacola, FL. Based on the dining room/restaurant layout, food menu, and organization it is clear this is not their first rodeo. Here are some specific things that impressed me. 1. Ordering bbq and hot pot items is really simple and efficient. You use your phone to scan a QR code at your table. It loads a menu with your table's identifier. You simply submit you orders from the phone and staff shows up with your items. 2. The number and variety of items are incredible. There are too many items to try in just one visit. The quality and freshness of the meats, seafood, and vegetables that we tried were all excellent. 3. I really liked the condiment station. It has all the sauces, spices, and herbs for you to build your own dipping sauces. Also, I loved the Kim Chee and Seaweed salad at the bar; both were very tasty. 4. Finally, I like the way the center grill and individual burners are set up on our table. Your hot pot is designed for cooking. It is slightly off center so you can move cooked items/broth into another bowl for eating. I look forward to coming back soon.

She said the woman told her in a very hateful tone that "it's on the bag to put them in there so if it's listed on the bad then we put them in there". When I opened my bag there was none in there. Then I pulled out my Fritta it was just tossed in the bag no wrapper and had other items tossed on top of my food. It was dry, cold, and looked like it was made hours ago. Then I opened my wrapper for my breakfast sandwich, the bread was cold and rock hard and it was missing half of the ingredients that go on the sandwich. It literally had just arugula and what was probably half a piece of back torn in piece on it, no eggs, no sauce, or anything else. The food was hard and gross, I threw it away.... A complete waste of money!

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the dining area is consistently clean. They also do an excellent job keeping the salad bar, drink station, and soft-serve area clean and well maintained. I'm a big fan of ordering the combo with a half sandwich and either soup or salad. The portions are generous enough that I can usually bring home leftovers. One of my favorite combinations is the half muffaletta with the spicy seafood gumbo. Yum! And the salad bar is awesome. The staff does an excellent job keeping it clean, well stocked, and filled with fresh ingredients. There's a great variety of toppings, so it's easy to put together a salad exactly the way you like it. Overall, this is a reliable choice for a good meal, generous portions, and consistently friendly service. Don't overlook it just because it's a chain!

I almost always get the Reuben the Great, and my wife gets the lighter Reuben. You can really tell the difference between the two side by side.
