For a newbie, I enjoyed it. It reminds me a lot of Chipotle but it was fresh, light, and authentic. You can make bowls and wraps without meats. So there arw vegetarian and gluten free options. I like the variety but I wish there were a few more other toppings. I love the yogurt dill dressing. The customer service was A1! I didn't feel rushed and the employee gave me great suggestions. If you are going to charge almost $20 for an item, please ensure all the ingredients are included. I ordered online so, if the store is out of the ingredient make it unavailable instead of how to send an email to a manager of any degree in your corporation. I like Cava way more than Chipotle or Moe's. A little more attention to detail by the expeditor or management would have helped not seeing this review. read more

This is an amazingly beautiful idea for Greek food. They are always packed, and expect it to take your entire lunch break, but it's worth it. The amount of choices and toppings is Devine, and I highly recommend if you like Greek food. read more

The food at Cava is good - healthy, tasty Mediterranean menu with a nice variety of options and flavors delivered in rice bowls and pita sandwiches but the service - well, that's another story. Not only are they struggling with what appears to be very limited training since they opened, but today they had no pita chips and no forks, either stainless or plastic! Try eating a pita bowl full of lettuce with a spoon! It's starting to seem like this store is run by the same crew who ran the Zoe's here previously. If they keep this up, they will end up with the same outcome - out of business. And that's a shame for an interesting food concept with good potential otherwise. read more

First of all food was good. The problem was the time it took to get my order. The order was placed on at 4:08, with 4:30 pick-up. Ticket wasn't printed until 4:37. Order came out at 4:49. I was the only patron waiting in the store and watched the line cook work very hard while the manager walked around the store with a tablet doing anything but help get the customers order ready. I went to Cava today with my mother and I ordered a build my own grain bowl. The base was saffron basmati rice with classic hummus and red pepper hummus. My topics included corn, cabbage, pickled red onion, cucumbers, pita strips, pickles, olives, and garlic sauce. I ordered my food for take-out. The service was excellent. The workers were lovely and fast with my order. The workers served me with kindness. They left me napkins and utensils to take with me. Since COVID-19, Cava had hand sanitizer inside and they wipe down tables after each use. Overall, the staff was kind and my food was very amazing and fresh. I like having healthy options close to home. They took over the old Zoe's Kitchen location. I ordered online and the ordering was extremely easy, even to make custom orders. In order to use their drive through you need to order the food online. I say this because they do not have a menu or a speaker for you to order in their drive through. When I looked through the drive through window you could tell the kitchen and behind the counter was very dirty with a lot of dropped food on the floor. However, the food tasted excellent. The spices they used made the food taste great. The temperature of the chicken and falafel was a little off, but I cleaned my plate. A very nice surprise. My husband and I tried the new CAVA on Highway 280. What a lovely variety of grains, greens, proteins and sauces! Each bowl was packed with flavor! Very easy to control calories in these bowls. They also make their own pita chips, which are unique. They are soft but lightly crisp. They smell and taste like a delicious item you would find at the fair. They make their own juices in house. My husband tried the Lavender Blueberry juice and it was lovely. Mediocre Service & Unattentive Staff Its been a while since Ive written a review, but this experience warrants a thorough assessment! Is there a way to give a place negative stars? I first discovered Cava in Winston Salem, NC. I was hooked from the first bowl. However, the Cava on 280 in Birmingham, AL, did not provide the same experience. As I waited patiently for my falafel bowl to be constructed, I was told I'd have to wait because they didn't have enough for a serving. That's fine, I'm use to waiting for quality food. That being said, when the falafels were finished and put on the bar, my order sat on the counter as worker after worker skipped my bowl; serving other patrons that came after me. I waited for about 5 people to be served before I decided to stop waiting by the drink machine and exit the building! I can say that this was by far the most disappointing experience I've had at a restaurant! The manager, well the guy I assume was in charge, was aware of my presence, but perhaps he was distracted as I watched him taste the rice directly from the cooking pot with his hands. (He did have gloves on, but still was a bit off putting as he leaned over the pot it was cooking in to have a taste! Also, how many times did he test the rice this evening with those same gloves and saliva??? NOONE KNOWS‼) So, yeah! I won't be back anytime this week, but who knows? I do love the food; this is not a review on the quality of the food! Rather, this is an assessment of the service I received this evening! Hopefully it will be addressed. We were here on a Saturday and though they were obviously understaffed for the busy shop Travis had the BEST attitude and made us feel like we were the only ones there. My Balsamic Date Chicken Bowl was very good. There's grilled chicken, roasted eggplant dip, roasted red pepper hummus, fire-roasted corn, cabbage slaw, tomato + cucumber, brown rice, spinach. I noticed that the chicken the young gal was scooping into my bowl was the last of the fem ants and looked dry and unappealing, so I asked for my extra protein scoop to be fresh hot off the grill. I don't think the few workers were necessarily delighted to appease, but they did it anyway; it was a good decision, as it was good chicken all-round. Their balsamic date vinaigrette was more on the lite side, as opposed to a heavier, darker vinaigrette, and east overpowering. I didn't need to use much of it because the toppings and grilled chicken were all flavorful. I absolutely loved having the ability to add two scoops of their roasted veggies topping to my dish just because it looked so colorful and enticing; I scored on that decision, mmm! Looks like their only desserts is blondie brownie squares. They weren't good - too pure-sugar taste, they didn't taste like a blondie at all; plus, they're like 3 dollars for a 2x2 inch tiny ass square. Based on the good veggies offered here, I'd definitely give CAVA another try if one were to open in central Ohio. read more
