For a banh mi, the price of this place is definitely up there like $9.00 to $12.00 compared to most banh mi price is around $5 to $6. I had the opportunity to try their honey glazed bacon and eggs banh mi and let me tell you.. this sandwich is MASSIVE. I could barely fit the whole thing in my mouth so I had to cut it in half. The sandwich was loaded with TONS of bacon which I absolutely loved and it was super crispy. The fried egg in the sandwich was a perfect sunny side up which just elevated the sandwich to a higher level of flavor. One item I will say was Absolutely Delicious and will return for is the Ginger crab and shrimp banh mi. I cheated on my no carb diet to devour half the sandwich which was more than enough to fill me. Love the aioli type sauce with the perfect balance of seasoning and spice (for me - I like my sandwiches spicy) and the shrimp and crab was fried to perfection - crispy and light! Tried this new Auburn spot today. I tried out the Honey peppered bacon & eggs bao and the creme brulee. First things first, everything was tasty and fresh. And I would return for a second helping of that Palm tree nectar creme brulee! Unfortunately they don't seem prepared for a lunch rush because it took 20-30 minutes for the food to come out. Everyone around me kept glancing at their phones probably because half their lunch break was already over. And although tasty, the bao was more like a sloppy joe and fell apart in my hands with every bite making it difficult to eat. $10 for ANY banh mi is pricey, not competitive. If I paid less than $10 and the service was quicker, I would have given this one at least a 4 Star. Until then, 3 Stars read more

Walked in & was pleased with how neat & tidy they kept the place. They were super friendly & had no problem answering our questions about the food. Their chicken bao LITERALLY made my day! It's been a stressful week and I saw their food pics and the bao is what caught my eye. The way it looks is amazing BUT the way it tastes is even better. I only know how they did it but they had savory and sweet with just the right amount of sauce and chicken in there. The bun was soft like traditional baos but then there's a crunch from the inside and all the flavors just came together to compliment one another. It really hit the spot. I fell in love with it at first bite. Totally worth the 35min drive to get here. I also ordered the coconut shrimp and pork vermicelli and OMG that shrimp was so perfectly flavored I could eat it all day. It's so nicely marinated and grilled just right for the mmm feeling. The pork was good and the vermicelli was nice and soft and bouncy. This is a hidden . Definitely must experience this bao because they don't make this anywhere I've ever been across the country.
