Came around 1:25pm and it was empty. I got the popcorn chicken and green milk tea with boba. The drink was average nothing too spectacular that would make me want to come back. The popcorn chicken was not good at all. I ended up taking a few bites and even with the dipping sauce was pretty inedible. Let alone I waited over 15-20 minutes for everything when it was empty. The chicken was extremely bland and didn't have the traditional taste like most boba shops do for popcorn chicken. It was fried heavily and didn't seem like it tasted like chicken. I was so disappointed as I was craving a good popcorn chicken. I ended up throwing about 80% of it away. My husband tried it and he's usually not a food waster. He even said yeah, that belongs in the trash. Unfortunately, I didn't like this place as others did. Maybe it was a bad day but even then, I probably wouldn't come back. i came here to study about twice and both times they were not very busy the last time i came here, they had about 5 customers for the past 3 hours, so not very busy but they do have a tv playing music so be aware of that if you come to study. it is also FREEZING so bring your winter boots and parka if you're gonna be here for a while. their ac is set at 67. I got the vietnamese ice coffee. i thought it was pretty good and tastes like your standard vietnamese ice coffee. i also got the salted creme coffee which was super sweet - but that's on me i forgot to adjust the sweetness. i also got the popcorn chicken and the fried tofu. the wait time was not long at all but be aware the pieces of food are baby size, the portion is not small but the pieces of food itself are like the size of my toe (popcorn chicken) and the tofu is like size of half my pinky. one time i had their taiwanese sausage but it's not on the menu but it was the best thing i had from this place but kind of not worth the money cuz u only get one for $5 it should be 4 for $5 or at least 3 pieces anyways i think about that sausage a lot... please bring it back read more

My mango pomegranate slushy was amazing! It was blended well, no chunks of ice. The mango flavor was much more stronger than the pomegranate. It was a very refreshing drink for the hot Saturday. They have a decent size menu where someone can mix and match different drinks and toppings. It is also always great that our barista was so nice. The spot is a nice area with a couch and plenty of other seating for big groups to hang out. The strawberry tea with lychee was great, just sweetened enough that it wasn't over powering. I am trying to support this small business but everytime I order something my order is canceled because it is unavailable. Like this has happened to me AT LEAST 5 times. It's kind of annoying when I'm craving one of my favorite snacks "popcorn chicken" & I order to pick up only to be told they're out of it. One of the workers said they only make small batches for the week so they don't waste any. I got a large sea salt milk tea + honey boba and french fries. The drink: I would rate it a 4/5 I really enjoyed this drink and the boba were sweet and soft. The french fries: I would rate the french fries a 2/5 because they tasted bland ( there wasn't a hint of salt anywhere) On the other hand my friend got seasoned fries. Note: There's two types of fries they sell which are the regular french fries and the flavored fries. My friend didn't order the flavored fries btw. I was in the area and was looking for a new place to try some milk tea. I came here for the first time and honestly, Uranus 27 has some of the nicest employees I have ever come across. I usually get pretty anxious when ordering things from new places but the employees here are really laidback and helpful when finding new things to try. I was looking for something that was different from the average thai tea and was told to try the Muddy Milk Tea. I asked what was in it and the employee went above and beyond by telling me all of its ingredients as well as showing me a photo of it off of yelp! It looked so good so I took it and after my first drink, I literally fell in love! I've been to a few other milk tea places that just tasted so watered down and mediocre but this was not the case here. Aside from the great milk tea, they have a nice little area to hangout or study in with couches and chairs. They also offer a variety of little snacks as well if you are hungry. Since going there for the first time, I've been back about 5 times and both the customer service and quality are still pretty consistent. Uranus 27 is a cute boba and Taiwanese snack store that will keep your eyes occupied with its random assortment of action figures, lego sets, and other kinds of nerdy and anime collectibles adorning its walls. It also has a large menu for variety. I just wish the drinks were a bit better - although sized quite largely for what you pay for, my Thai iced tea felt too milky to the point where I didn't feel like I had much Thai tea in my drink and my friend made a similar comment about her taro drink.
