Called in an order for pickup to bring over to my grandparent's house for a suprise pizza party. I ordered a 16" thin crust w/alfredo sauce and spinach and tomatoes for my vegetarian grandma, a 16" regular crust w/pepperoni and Italian sausage for my Grandpa, an an order of cheesy garlic bread. Picked it up about an hour later and the resturant was poppin'! Several cars in the small lot out front, some patrons inside, staff making the pizza left and right... it seemed like the place to be! It was warm inside, due the pizza ovens working like crazy and lack of air conditioning. But the staff was very friendly and got our order out right away. We brought eveything over to my grandparents and it was indeed a wonderful surprise!! There were 5 pieces of cheesy garlic bread and 2 ramikins of marinara included in the regular order. There was just the right amount of cheese to satisfy your typical Wisconsinite and the bread was seasoned and baked perfectly! The marinara was hearty and also seasoned perfectly. Pizza: YES YES YES! The thin crust was amazing, it had great flavor and was still a little chewy. The alfredo sauce was not bland at all! The tomatoes seemed grilled/toasted and both tomatoes and spinach tasted fresh. The regular crust meat pizza was also 100%. Again, great crust and fresh ingredients. The love and passion that went into our meal was apparent :) I definitely recommend Uptown to any local or visitor. We were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the food we received. My grandparents will be ordering from Uptown in the future and I will also be stopping by when I'm visiting :) read more

Uptown Pizza Tomah - Menu (front and back) - Pizza Near Me - Tomah, Wisconsin

Uptown pizza was tasty. The service was friendly and speedy and the place was clean and quiet. I cant give it the full five stars until I try it again ( I got an upset stomach immediately after leaving so I need to try it again to make sure it wasn't just a coincidence) , but if you're ever in Tomah check them out! read more

Usually really happy with the food. Today our pizza was overcooked. Crust was way over done, too dark to eat.

In town for a baseball tournament. Had pizzas delivered to our hotel. They were right on time , pizzas were still hot and tasted amazing !! We all loved it! Great pizza! Would highly recommend !!! read more

I've always enjoyed Uptown pizza since I was a kid. Good thin crust and lots of topping choices. The sausage is my favorite and the sauce is good too. This is definitely one of the best pizza options in Tomah. They also have a nice spot right downtown which is easy to find, and with dine in option if you don't want to order take out. read more

They have wonderful pizza!!! Make sure to call them for delivery though or you'll be paying more online for one of the delivery services!!

Rating a four for my first time visit. I called my order in, a simple process and even though they deliver I was going into town anyway so I opted to pick it up. Pizzas were being made and it seemed as though they had more than a few call in orders. I mention that because the dining area and bar were empty. So I cannot base my rating on the dine in experience. The menu is short and sweet making selection and ordering easy and fast. Pricing seems average for our current economy. Let's get to the pizza. I like both thin and thick crust. Last night it was thin crust for me. I ordered the Uptown Deluxe large. I have to call out the sauce, not too sweet. Which I love. Plenty of toppings and the cheese melted just right. Thin crust was perfectly made. Not tough or burnt, it was just right. And then lastly, service was great. Super nice in taking my order and equally so on pick up. Will recommend. read more

I ordered food for pick up and when I got there employees were sitting outside smoking and when I went inside someone was asleep on the counter and I was told cash only because there system was broken, I've had good pizza there before but I don't know what happened now, unless things change I won't go back. read more

I called ahead on both Friday and Saturday, 4/15 and 4/16 to verify they would be open on 4/17/22, Easter Sunday. I was told they would be open from 4pm to 9pm. I arrived; they are closed, and calls go to voice mail. read more

The pizza here is not anything to write home about. It is greasy, and has a bad flavor.

To walk in, you wouldn't know it, but this is a great place for pizza. Forget upgrading the building, they just focus on the food, and it's good. Whatever kind of pizza you want, they'll probably make it for you. Their prices aren't bad either. If you are a net-junkie, they have wi-fi so you don't have to leave early. These guys run a lot of business, and once you have your pizza in front of you it doesn't bother you that there's a train going by. read more

Nice, atmosphere it isn't a ritzy place simple hodge podge of garage sale finds. The pizza is above average and definitely amongst the best in Tomah area. Ingredients don't taste frozen or proceed. Mom and pop customer service treated me like a friend and a equal, they didn't kiss my butt just made me feel welcomed and that all I needed. Prices are on point for quality of food. read more

Uptown Pizza Tomah - Yumm - Pizza Near Me - Tomah, Wisconsin

I have been told over the last two months that this was the best Pizza in Tomah. I have tried several times over the last two months to order from them. Most times they don't answer. One time, they had no delivery drivers available. Finally, I decided to give them one last try. Who ever answered the phone was absolutely rude from the pick up to the hang up. I've never been made to feel I was absurdly stupid while ordering a pizza as I did. Thank god the delivery driver was nice and the pizza was actually very good. So three stars. Pizza alone for Tomah is five stars, customer service is 1. I'll split the difference. And I hear they don't take credit cards? Weird place. read more

Best pizza I've had! They have the best sauce and crispy crust! Italian sausage is great and there pizza fries you have to try them!

Called in a pizza order. Went to pick it up and they had gotten the time wrong and pizza wasn't ready. Acted like it was our fault. We would have just left but they already charged our card, prior to them realizing it was not made yet. Finally got our Mexican pizza, and the salsa was missing and the sour cream packets were 2 weeks expired (I realized this after already smearing it all over 2 slices). In the past our other experiences were fine and the cheese on the pizzas is really good. read more

this place is really crappy i would NOT recommend going there to eat. the people walk in and out a lot just to go smoke and they were like all stoned. there food was cold. i don't recommend going there at all. they service even asked they were slow and didn't bring us plates or forks so eat with are pizza. read more

Real good experience. Bunch of younger guys running the place and I could tell they were proud of what comes out of their kitchen. I had the thin crust and it was excellent. Dining room was slow in the weeknight I was there, but I have a feeling delivery is the majority of their business. Skip the chain places and visit this locally owned pizzeria. You will taste and feel the difference. read more

We are a group from Chicago in Tomah for the weekend. Several of us ordered from here and it was excellent and reasonably priced. Have no clue why they have the same amount of stars as Pizza Hut. Way, way better pizza!! read more

NUMMY Nice clean Pizzaria best in Tomah very friendly loved this pizza This town should is lucky to have this pizza Smith

Good basic pizza but sometimes that is all you need. Good thin crust, Big sausage chunks, craft bottled sodas. Not bad. Overall recommend. read more

After dining in it's obvious most of the business is delivery and take out orders. No beer or alcohol sells. Sodas are by the can. Attentiveness of in store diners was left wanting. Pizza is good, vegetables are fresh, and marinara is tasty. read more

So, having heard that this place makes good pizza, I gave it a try. Mistake. Last time I'll go into that place, even if it's on fire. Went in and tried to order a large take out pizza. Had to tell guy#1 like 4 times what I wanted. He blamed it on the way the computer let's him input it. After final, hopefully successful input, he tells me my total and goes back to the kitchen. Place is empty. It's a Friday night. I shit you not, within a minute he is out with my pizza. I said that was fast, even though I gave him my name about 5 times he asks me if I'm not XXXX? No, I said I'm not. Oh sorry. Dissapears with the pie. Then a old man comes in and wants to change the tv I was watching and order a pizza. He does and and also changes the channel. Whatever. Then a new guy comes out of the kitchen and asks me if I had been helped, I said yes. He dissapears. Old dude starts talking to thin air trying to get me to engage him. I won't. The guy who took my order reappears and asks me if I had ordered already....REALLY?!?! I say yes he then asks my name, again, I tell him and he prints out my recipt. I pay. Right then he leaves and guy #2 reappears with a boatload of food. Asks me if I'm so and so. I say no. He leaves, guy #1 comes back and asks why I didn't take my food?!?! I can't make this up. I said my food just went back about 4 to 5 minutes ago. He huffs and walks back to the kitchen, where both guy #1 and guy #2 emerge with the same large food order. Ask me if I'm XXXX again. I say no, then im accused of saying I said yes, before, that I was XXXX. I said I did not, just said yes to already paying which they asked me.. THEN both guy #2 AND the old dude who took control of the TV say to no one, Yes, you said you were XXXX!!!! Don't say you are XXX if you are not and all kinds of crap. I sternly said I did not say inwas XXX and I wanted a refund at this point. Well, low and behold my pizza, only 8 minutes from ordering appears. I check it, it smells burnt. I'm told no refund, please leave. As I'm leaving, who walks in? Mr XXXX! I tell him good luck and leave. I haven't even tried the pizza. Afraid to do so. Probably contaminated. Stay AWAY from this place. You have been warned. read more

Went Saturday night and ate in. We got the deluxe 16 in thin crust. The crust was exceptional! I am from Chicago and this was the best pizza I've ever had. It had the right amount of sauce and cheese with black olives, mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, green pepper and bacon! It was super super fantastic. I ate with my mom and dad but honestly I could have probably eaten it all myself!! Ha! read more

Uptown Pizza Tomah - Its looks good - Pizza Near Me - Tomah, Wisconsin

pizza is good however service is horrible. unless they have different wait staff i don't suggest ordering from there. we should have left after walking in when we were greeted with a "hi" and then the guy working turned around and headed to the back mumbling to himself. we sat ourselves he called from the front of the restaurant asking what we wanted. we stated we'd never been there before. he then came over with plates and forks and asked if we knew what we wanted. we gave him our order. we were never asked if we wanted a drink. after waiting about 45 minutes he came back asked what we ordered again. again never asked if we needed anything to drink. in the meantime a few customers came in and were never greeted or waited on. one customer left after sitting there for 30 minutes. the whole time we were there we heard a man swearing and yelling from the back. we had another guy bring our food out. he apologized for the wait. we just asked for a box. the original guy checked us out and mumbled and complained under his breath the whole tone. read more

The pizza from this establishment is good. When you can get it. Prices are higher and sadly the last few times I've tried to order from them something has been wrong something wasn't working and I couldn't order anything. I called in order and another time and they told me that their ovens were all broken but they would sell me breadsticks. I kind of got the feeling they were stoned or under the influence of something. Usually when I try to order something something is going wrong where I can't. read more

My family and I stopped over for a night in Tomah on a road trip and wanted a quick dinner while we enjoyed the pool at our hotel. Upside came through. The service here is interesting to say the least. The food is middle of the road...garlic cheese bread was actually very good but the pizza was a bit salty. One of our pizzas was very burnt around the edges of the crust. Someone in our party also got chicken wings and said those were pretty good. All canned and bottled beverages so no soda fountain with free refills. Service was somewhat slow and the CC machine was down so they were only taking cash but failed to mention that upon arrival and relied solely on patrons noticing a small hand written sign on the entry door (if you're having convo and not paying attention you walk right past like we did)...there's an ATM across the street in Pizones. One of the guests in our party used the bathroom and said it was in a very poor state of cleanliness. The staff obviously means well but it just didn't hit the mark for me. read more

Friend and I stopped in for a late lunch last week. We were greeted by a sloppy dressed guy from the kitchen who was sweaty, he asked "what do ya need?", we said we had never been there before and asked if we could dine in. He said "yea sit anywhere." from that point on the experience got really bad. He didn't point out the menu which was a laminated sheet of paper that was upside down on the table so we didn't even know that was the menu, he came back out and asked what we wanted, we asked for his advice on an option and he acted like he didn't have time for us, was very rude, almost angry. I'm not sure if he was stressed out but it made us feel uneasy. There was a door slamming in the kitchen the entire time, a woman was either telling him a story (cursing and swearing the whole time) or she was ripping him a new one, either way we could hear all of it from the dining room. He brought out our pizza which was delicious, but we didn't get plates or forks or anything.......so we ate off of napkins and about 10min later he left for a delivery, we didn't see him again. We flagged down the girl and paid and left. The food is good, but the experience was HORRIBLE. Won't be back. Owner should fire a few employees. He's losing business because of it. One star for quality of pizza. read more
