I stopped here every time on the way to Minnesota to charge mu car and it's a decent place to eat with good service

My family is in town for a military event and this restaurant was conveniently located near our hotel. That's where the good kinda stops. Kids shared a pizza and side of fries. The pizza was thin crust and kids gave it 3/5. It was filling but nothing extraordinary. The side of fries could fit in my teen son's hand. Disappointing! I had the buffalo chicken wrap. I couldn't finish it, barely begin. It was served ice cold. Sauce was oozing everywhere which may have been fine if the food was warm. Only positive, beer was cold and a good selection. I would not return and certainly not recommend. read more

Ordered smothered chicken which I have had and loved before. Instead of getting 2 pieces of chicken smothered with BBQ, onions, melted cheese like the menu described I got 1 chicken breast with a piece of American cheese on it. That was it! I asked the waitress why it was so plain and missing toppings and she said she didn't know-she had never seen smothered chicken. I ate it and chicken was very dry. We ordered various items off the menu the chicken wings, a vegetable pizza, Ruben sandwich, a chicken sandwich, a burger, nachos, grilled cheese, salmon, chicken Alfredo, several milk shakes, and a ribeye steak. Most of the items came with French fries which were ok at best. We were not impressed at all with the chicken sandwich. The burger was good but too small for the bun so we took the top of the bun off the burger so the meat to bun ratio would balanced out. The star of the show was the ribeye steak it had an excellent char, it was juicy, seasoned well and the temperature on the cook was spot on!!! Our wait staff was amazing and took care of our needs. The Service was decent. The sirloin steak and potato was absolutely terrible. Ordered medium rare and got well done. Also, ordered onions and mushrooms on top .... Don't do it. Onions are a sloppy mess and only received maybe one mushroom cut into pieces. Furthermore the baked potato was burnt and totally dry. After I was asked how my food was I told the waitress it was way overcooked and all I was told was she didn't cook it and sorry. Very disappointed so if you read this don't eat here, by the way this is my 2nd review on a restauran. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! 0 STARS! I took one bite out of my burger and it was absolutely disgusting, I couldn't finish it and waited for my server to come back to my side of the table and was completely ignored for a extended amount of time! When she finally came over, seeing the food was barely even touched, i then told her I didn't like the food and was told only a portion of the cost would be deducted. We ate here with a family of four while traveling. Our server gave us coloring sheets to keep the kids occupied and we could enjoy our cocktails. The kids got chicken fingers and pretzel bites. I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Kim at Tap House twenty recently, and let me tell you, this woman deserves a medal--or at least a trophy the size of my appetizer platter! From the moment we sat down, Kim burst onto the scene like a superhero in a "Restaurant Rescue" movie. Her menu knowledge is impressive. I asked her for recommendations, and she made suggestions like she was guiding me through a culinary choose-your-own-adventure book. "You could go with the salmon, or you could take a walk on the wild side and try the fish tacos," she said, winking like she was sharing a state secret. Guess which option I went with? That's right, the spicy tacos! Throughout the meal, Kim was like an ever-vigilant waiter ninja--appearing just when we needed her, whether it was for more condiments, a drink refill, or a much-needed pep talk about our life choices (which, yes, she absolutely gave)! Her humor (she's hilarious with a great laugh and smile) and wit made for such delightful banter; if I had a dollar for every laugh she gave us, I'd be able to pay for my next five meals. And let's not forget her ability to balance all the plates like she's in a circus act--seriously, someone get this woman a show on Broadway! She even expertly dodged a rogue pretzel that my friend attempted to throw across the table (don't ask) without missing a beat. Food was good. Salad Bar very nice and fresh. Our Waitress was nice but not "people ready". Very spotted shirt, hair needed definitely attention and her manner was different". We waited and waited to pay our bill as she came by but was mutil tasking with customers when we were waiting for our receipt. Just not Profesional or trained correctly. Well, where do I even start. 1. Ordered a steak, they ran out of A1 steak sauce. 2. Servers non-existent, zero follow up and no drink refills. One of our go to places when in the neighborhood. The food is your typical sports bar food, wings, tenders, fries, burgers, etc. I will say they have the best white cheddar curds! Funny story, it was actually two years ago when I was here and I can happily say the flight of beer and food was outstanding. It was a fool house and the thing that I enjoyed the most was that our hostess continue to smile and be there when ever we needed water or ketchup. Pretty representative of the better sports bar pub eatery places. Good staff. Food was good, the cheese curds were excellent very different than I have had before. (It's Wisconsin and they do cheese right! lol!) I had the Black and bleu burger the onion & bleu cheese really had a good reactive flavor, I would definitely have again. We ate outside as the inside bar area is quite loud, place wasn't packed but had the echoey noise pretty bad, if one of your party has some hearing loss I'd recommend sitting outside. read more

Like the atmosphere. Very booth by the bar had their own tv which I thought it was a great touch and very interesting way to allow customers to watch what they please. My crew and I were looking for a restaurant with some decent food and drinks to enjoy a night out at so some people recommended this place to us. Upon entrance, the place gave off American sports bar vibes and seemed to really spacious. We were quickly seated and the waitresses took all our orders quickly. Many of us wanted to try out the appetizers offered so I got to try some of the cheese curds and boom, boom shrimp which both tasted great. I ended up ordering the Jalapeno Burger which came out in no time and looked delicious upon presentation. After digging into it, it tasted just alright but did not tasted as good as some other Jalapeno burgers I have had the pleasure of trying in the past. Some of my crew were also dissapointed in the smaller portions of wings which seemed to be advertised as a lot more. The most redeeming part of the meal were the appetizers but the main courses fell a little short of the standard of meals bars like this usually offer. Ordered the cheese curds and they where exceptional. For the entree I orderd the ribeye with a side of tater tots... and apparently it comes with a pond of salt on the steak and the tots... I was so dehydrated afterwards I had to go to the hospital to get an IV to rehydrate. The Ribeye was a very poor choice cut piece of meat, I mean taco bell has higher quality meat it had more tendons in it then my left shoulder. Our server disappeared and we had to flag down another waitress, just so we could order our drinks after like 15 min of waiting. Then it seemed like forever until we had our order taken. Saturday early evening. Long wait for waters. Server never came back. 4 people standing at station could've helped while servers were very busy. Food was terrible. Baked potato was hard and not cooked. Took over 20 minutes to get first order then took another 20 minutes for 2 other orders of frozen tenders. All separate checks they only compensated and took off 1 chicken tender and did nothing about the separate check of chicken sandwich and baked potato. Full price for terrible food and service. Nice greeting when arriving for a weekday lunch and our server Jess visited quickly. We took a look at the Salad Bar and found browning lettuce and old fashioned, canned toppings....no thanks. So, I went with the 1lb. of boneless wings. They arrived quickly were chewy/tough (see photo). The highlight was the friendly server and the clean ladies restroom (no paper towels by the way) which raised the experience to "2 star." This might be a fair place to meet folks after work if quality food isn't important. If you're in search of a better experience, my advice is to keep driving. I think he was staffing a "stand up comedy" room that was evidently also going on that evening at the place. Eventually, he seated me and the waitress took my order. Didn't see her again until it was time to pay and she let me sit there quite a bit longer than necessary, I was ready to leave about 10 mins before I found her again. So, 3/5 I'd say. read more

Went on a Thursday night and it was quite busy. Service was good but food was lacking. I don't drink but my buddies said there was a large selection of beer and other drinks. I had the chicken sandwich which was dry af. Break was stiff and crispy which is odd. The three stars are for their cheese curds. Those were delicious. My buddy said wings were meh and macaroni and cheese was abysmal. Their prices are okay, but probably wouldn't return. Basic bar food and nothing special. read more

Service was outstanding, but the boneless wing quality and quantity was pretty disappointing. I wish I would have taken a picture of them, but one pound of boneless wings was 10 smaller sized boneless wings, and I got two sauces. The sauces tasted good but I had to get more sauce on the side because the wings came out pretty dry. I recommend tossing the wings in a little more sauce or sending sauce out with them. The quantity of 10 seems pretty light for one pound as well. read more

What a great restaurant! The atmosphere is super cool and the staff is really nice. We had the wings which were easily the best wings around. Better than Buffalo Wild Wings and even better than Showboat Saloon. They have a good beer selection as well. Hope to see some offerings from Toppling Golliath brewery some day. I understand not wanting to raise your prices but don't cut back on your portions because of it. Add some sort of charge to offset your costs somewhere. I came here off a recommendation from a coworker. He had the salmon and he said it was awesome. So I don't really go with the crowd I decided to go to the location but get something else plus my appetite wasn't feeling salmon. I was immediately sat at a booth. They did ask booth or table. The waitress immediately came over and took my drink order. I grabbed the raspberry tea. Delicious. Not over powering. Well the first glass wasn't anyway. The second glass was a tad bit sweet. That's ok. I watered it down by mixing it with the water I grabbed. I started out with appetizers. I grabbed the fried pickles. They are spears not the little hamburger slices you get at Hooters. Very nice. And who doesn't visit Wisconsin without getting cheese. So I also asked for the garlic cheese curds. The flavor was on point. The garlic wasn't overpowering and you could taste the cheese and batter. Again just right. For the meal I went with the by name Taphouse burger. Really great. It doesn't come with condiments on the bun but they bring you everything you need. The patty was cooked medium well. I did t even have to ask. YES!!!!!! It was so delicious. It was cooked fresh and you could tell. The atmosphere was great. I went around 5pm. It wasn't busy. But I took my time eating and didn't leave until around 6. It had become busy by then but not packed. My waitress was extremely friendly and let me eat and asked me if I needed anything between my meal pauses. I hate when they come up to you mid bite or chewing. She had perfect timing. You better believe I will go back while I'm here in Wisconsin. I have to try the other food options. Stopped by here on a hunting trip because it was close to our hotel. Thx good did not disappoint. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak, my son had a steak, and I got the salad bar. Everyone was satisfied to say the least. They bring out soup from the kitchen... I had both the broccoli cheese and French onion, which were both great.
