A good sized TV behind the bar with great sounding speakers was kinda surprising. They have a decent beer selection on tap, and the menu can cover pretty much all appetites. I ordered the veggie burger, which was somewhat generic but nevertheless tasty and I ate the whole thing. Overall, I'd say the food here is good - maybe nothing crazy unique, but good, especially with the somewhat limited options in the area if you want to stay away from chains and fast food. I opted for the upgrade for the side of fries that came with and selected the pickle chips. I am glad I did as they are some of the best I have tasted in quite sometime. Thinly sliced, they were perfectly fried with a thin batter that didn't hide the flavor of the pickle. The sandwich also hit the mark-tender steak nestled between a ciabatta bun. It was great. At the end of the meal, the waitress brought our check, but then came and took it away from us because she forgot to add the beer my spouse ordered because their water had such a bad taste. Since she had already dropped the ball so many times, this could have been an opportunity to extend a gesture of good will and give it to him on the house, but alas.
