We both had the two piece haddock, one with a baked potato and one with potato pancakes. Fish was great with what seemed to be a cracker and or cornmeal crust... very nice. You don't see home made potato pancakes on a lot of menus, it's a really nice change up. Btw the 2-piece fish fry was $9... there was also a three and four piece option as well as a Blue Gill and a couple of shrimp specials. I also had a small bowl of the house made clam chowder - wowza. The clam chowder often runs out by 5PM or so we were told. You've been warned! Also did I mention, clearly not yet, but the $5 old fashioneds - giant sized. One of the owners, Sue greeted us. Simply change your fryer oil frequently and you'll get crisp, delicious fries - like Misty's! My cup of chili contained elbow pasta but lacked salt in my opinion. My table shaker fixed that and I enjoyed the small sample of their homemade chili. Our server, Harmony, was prompt, well trained, friendly and attentive. She displayed a good sense of humor and connected with us. So, no offense to Culver's but our $17.97 meal was fast, fresh, and served with a smile! So its Culver's No, Misty's Yes in my opinion! They had four different syrups for their coffees that they make without any artificial ingredients. While we didn't end up ordering any food, we also noticed that they make all of the sandwiches and wraps there, with real eggs. There were also a bunch of pastries. The standard drip coffee was pretty good and not overly roasted. The oat beverage latte with their homemade mint syrup was also quite tasty and not overly sweet. If we're ever in the area again, this will definitely be a stop!
