The service was still fairly fast even with a larger space. Just a reminder that this is an "order food first, then find your seat" so keep that in mind if coming with a larger party. The menu was pretty much the same with some new fun specials. I tried a couple of the specials while I was there. The coffee was not overly sweet and smooth. The sandwich was a little on the smaller side with the gluten free bread, so I would recommend getting a side along with it, but still super yummy. I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu!

There's a self-serve water station, and you'll also need to grab your own napkins and silverware. None of that was explained when we ordered, but we eventually figured it out. We had a group of five, and the opinions on the food were pretty mixed. If you're thinking about the ricotta pancakes, absolutely plan on sharing them. The order comes with three absolutely massive pancakes. Each one is about half an inch thick and roughly the size of a large adult man's hand. They're impressive, but I really wish the menu gave some indication of just how enormous they are. Unless you're planning on taking leftovers home and eating a lot of microwaved pancakes later, it's way more food than most people would expect. I ordered the standard breakfast with scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, wheat toast, and the smashed potatoes. The scrambled eggs had a really nice texture (soft, fluffy, and cooked well) but they were very underseasoned. They needed quite a bit of salt and pepper. The chicken sausage was unfortunately the biggest disappointment for me. I was actually excited that it looked like a hand-formed patty instead of a processed sausage, but the flavor was just...odd. It was somehow both savory and sweet, but not in a good way, and there were chunks of ingredients throughout that I wasn't expecting. I took one bite and left the rest. The standout on my plate was definitely the smashed potatoes. They were excellent. The inside was creamy, almost like a Yukon Gold potato, while the outside was crispy and crunchy. They were well-seasoned, had great potato flavor, and several people at our table commented on how good they were. Someone else ordered the breakfast burrito, which was also huge; they could only finish about half. She said it tasted really good, but it was very rich and heavy. She thought a little more of the aioli (or whatever sauce was on it) would have helped balance all of the savory, fatty flavors. Another person ordered the breakfast sandwich. She said all of the individual ingredients were good, but together something just felt a little off. It was also an extremely messy sandwich to eat. The restaurant itself is comfortable and clean, although nothing particularly memorable about the atmosphere. Service was good overall, but one person at our table had ordered a single pancake on the side and ended up waiting about 15 extra minutes after everyone else had their food. Overall, I'd think about coming back, but I'd order differently next time. The portions are much larger than the menu lets on, the potatoes are absolutely worth getting, and while some dishes were excellent, a few just missed the mark.

But then came James the manager he would constantly stop the workers from taking certain peoples orders and was very rude to them. The food was amazing but James was on a power trip if I could have left a tip for every server I would've everyone chipped in to make sure despite James our experience was amazing. The waiting staff deserves 5 stars but because of James I simply just can't do it.

We arrived early to beat the rush and were seated right away, which was a great start to the morning. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive the entire time, making us feel very welcome. This location is beautiful inside. Very clean, bright, and full of natural light from the large windows. It created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I was craving something sweet and ordered the Brioche French Toast. It was absolutely delicious and tasted so fresh. My husband ordered the GE Omelet and loved it (he literally left no crumbs!). For our toddler, we ordered the classic breakfast from the kids menu with scrambled eggs, hash brown, and sausage patty, and he enjoyed every bite. I also really appreciated that the kids menu included a dry erase marker so he could color on it. Such a fun touch that kept him entertained. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they surprised us with a fresh pop tart of our choice. We picked strawberry, and it was AMAZING. Honestly, I'm already looking forward to going back just to try another flavor. Overall, such a positive experience. Great food, excellent service, and a very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch!

I don't make it out this far West Omaha, but WestEnd made me want to start! Everything was…read morefantastic! Service, drinks, food, and vibes! We were decently early on a Saturday night so we were able to slip right into a table! The food was good, I had the hummus plate with pita and cucumbers for dipping, love that they offer both options! The bartender whipped up a mocktail in a martini glass so I could still play along on our "Martini Flight Night" across Omaha! It was a spicy martini, with some fancy black salt, I'm not quite sure, but it was fantastic!

First time at West End Omaha and I'm already plotting my return. Showed up yesterday on a random…read moresnowy afternoon while visiting friends in the area--heard nothing but good things, and wow, it delivered. Walked in around 2:30 pm on a total snow day and basically had the place to myself, which was kind of perfect. The vibe inside is exactly what I want in a bar: dark, moody, a little sexy, with dim lighting and rich wood tones. Total escape from the bland strip-mall parking lot outside. Night-and-day difference the second you step through the door. Happy hour runs every day until 6 pm (huge win), so I grabbed the Toasted & Roasted martini for $9--yes, it comes with a toasted marshmallow garnish that actually works--and it was dangerously good. Sweet, smoky, strong... one of those drinks you sip slowly because you don't want it to end. Paired it with the buffalo chicken sliders + fries and demolished everything. Sliders were spicy without being overkill, sauce was on point, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Service was friendly and quick even though it was quiet, and the bartender checked in just the right amount. Prices felt fair (especially with happy hour), and the whole experience just felt... cool. Like the kind of neighborhood spot you brag about finding. Already texted my local friends that they've been sleeping on this place. West End Omaha, I'll be back--hopefully next time with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
