Located directly on Watt Ave (and just south of Whitney Ave) in the Arden-Arcade neighborhood of Sacramento, this place has been operating since mid-2024. Prior to them vacating this space, this was once a furniture store with other various businesses before that including a dollar store and video game store. Hopefully Noah's Ark will stick around for quite awhile. A little bit of backstory about this company; the money and revenue that is generated here helps support the ministry in Ukraine which helps families of the soldiers that have had to serve the frontlines. This includes fallen heroes as well as soldiers who have had to endure losing limbs that have to face very intense rehabilitation after their service in the Ukrainian military. To me, this is a huge impact when I know my money is going towards a very positive cause. The exterior parking lot has more than enough space as the two separate times I have been here, finding a spot to park has been a breeze. There are also several other small businesses that share this parking lot. As for the thrift store itself, the place is absolutely clean to a tee. Upon entry, I was greeted by the young man behind the counter. Store hours are very generous as they are open for business Monday-Thursday from 10am-6pm and Friday-Saturday from 9am-7pm while being closed every Sunday. As for the inside of this place, everything is laid out exceptionally well. You will find a huge assortment of glasses, kitchenware, vintage and near-new clothing/apparel, jewelry, books/CD's/DVD's, solid wood furniture, and much more, all in very excellent condition. The cleanliness and organization of Noah's Ark really shows how much care and thought they put into their business. During both my visits, I found a name-brand shirt and some very nice kitchen items that looked nearly brand new and at reasonable prices. With generous hours, friendly service, and a nice variety of great finds, I am giving "Noah's Ark Thrift & Gift" a unanimous five-star rating.

Items were mostly well priced with one basket having multiple tags ($15 tag and $25 tag but we were charged $25) which I thought wasn't as reasonable. The young staff seemed nice especially the security guard who got water for someone who was experiencing coughing due to asthma. Just a heads up they were playing Christian music in the store if that bothers you like it does me then maybe just be aware or bring some earbuds lol

That is exactly what I found when I visited "Comfort Thrift & Boutique", a locally owned and family operated business. Truth be told, this business did not have a single Yelp review since its grand opening back in late-2022. Located at 11415 Folsom Blvd in Rancho Cordova, this place shares the same parking lot as several other business including "Expo Furniture" and "Superbike Showroom". Parking was a breeze as this part of town does not get a lot of traffic as it is mainly an industrial part of town. They do, however offer generous business hours as they are open 7 days a week; Monday through Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday from 11am-6pm. What I particularly like about this place is just how open and spacious this place is. You will find so much in the way of your standard everyday thrift items including clothes, records, toys, glassware, and knick-knacks for around the house. But they also have a ton of vintage items including some items that are at least a century old. And when I mean spacious, I would have to say that 75% of the building accommodates a ton of furniture options. Everything from sofas, loveseats, sectionals, recliners, dining room sets, and complete bedroom groups. Since I wasn't in the market for furniture, I am unsure about their delivery/pickup options but I am guessing that much of the stock you see is what you'd be getting. I did notice that the store itself was relatively cold (at a crisp 67°F) and the public restroom was out of order but that was the only negative thing I would have to say. I did notice that the few employees/staff members were very helpful as I was greeted when I entered the furniture area. And when I did purchase the antique coffee mugs, they were very accommodating. When you factor in the very reasonable prices (for a thrift/consignment store), decent service, and wide selection, I am giving "Comfort Thrift & Boutique" an above average four star rating.

It's the very definition of a treasure hunt, as you will not see everything this place has to offer unless you dig. We found a few items for insanely cheap prices that we picked up, but I did see other stuff being charged for more than they're worth. Overall, I was happy with the majority of the prices. The selection had everything you'd expect from a thrift store with clothes, tools, furniture, shoes, and trinkets. I was pleasantly surprised to find other stuff like video games, VHS, vintage tech, and old coins. Don't get me wrong, I love shopping for clothes, but it's the tech and weird stuff that I'm truly interested in, so I was very happy they had a decent selection. When I come back I'll bring a pair of gloves to sift through everything, and I recommend doing the same if you're a bit of a germaphobe like myself. If you're willing to sift through the mountain of merchandise, this is a decent spot to visit.

There are individual vignettes that all flow together creating this huge footprint of magical items. Do you remember TV trays? You'll find them here! Do you remember vinyls? You'll find them here! The coolest thing is that they have a small indoor movie theater that will be opening very soon, featuring movies from our past. All types of genres, and all of them, of course very classic! What an experience!…read more Atmosphere: It was clear when my husband and I walked in that the owner cherishes this business and a great deal of thought and attention was placed on the layout and cleanliness of the array of items in the store. Items for sale: There was a huge variety of amazing finds: kitchenware, art, furniture, clothing, records, books/movies, etc. I would say higher quality items than I typically find at other vintage/consignment shops in the area. Not the same old things (not dusty garbage lol). Prices: Overall value is hard for me to say, as the prices are higher than I would expect for some items but from what I can tell, many are also more rare and higher quality from what I see at comparable shops. Building: Great! Building is on a main thoroughfare. The owner moved the business to this location about 4 months ago. Her and her family worked hard to turn this old 1970's Safeway into an epic vintage shop. The architecture of the building really works aesthetically and the place is massive which allows for everything to be well laid out. There's even a theater in back. Overall: Highly recommend. I look forward to seeing this business grow and hold more events in the future. :)
