Items for sale: There was a huge variety of amazing finds: kitchenware, art, furniture, clothing, records, books/movies, etc. I would say higher quality items than I typically find at other vintage/consignment shops in the area. Not the same old things (not dusty garbage lol). Prices: Overall value is hard for me to say, as the prices are higher than I would expect for some items but from what I can tell, many are also more rare and higher quality from what I see at comparable shops. Building: Great! Building is on a main thoroughfare. The owner moved the business to this location about 4 months ago. Her and her family worked hard to turn this old 1970's Safeway into an epic vintage shop. The architecture of the building really works aesthetically and the place is massive which allows for everything to be well laid out. There's even a theater in back. Overall: Highly recommend. Deseret is great go to for basics. Need some new jeans, a blazer, mens shirt, etc? I always check here first because they have a large array of things & sizes. My guy is tall, so we have a harder time. I also always check for blankets & fabric, as well as office supplies. Yep, for my home office. The outside area is an adventure, you never know what you will find. A few weeks ago I came for shorts and found a painting! I used to find great clothes, but sadly Deseret is getting so much "plastic" donations. Shein is taking over. I sew, so I would always find some great pieces to alter to my size & liking. The mens section is still good, but the womens is thin. Parking is always easy. The store is very clean, and Managers are very approachable for questions & pricing (the ladies, the men always seem stressed out and not so approachable. Just my opinion). The prices have gone up a little, but are still very good. My daughter lives in LA, and we always stop in when she is here. A Sacramento gem.

The woman that checked me out wanted me to tell her how much each of my items were (and I had a good amount of things) instead of looking herself and doing it like a normal cashier. I typically like this thrift store. I like the amount of items and price and quality.
