Price has increased over the years, it's not cheap, but I don't know how others compare these days. Have not had a reason to check. Highly recommend.

It had been a long time since my apartment had been cleaned. The bathroom needed a serious scrubbing and the carpet had a lot of dog hair (because my dog's hair murdered my vacuum). I filled out a form with Seattle Cleaning Service for a quote, and let them know that my place was not in great shape. It would take a lot of work. I let them know where the problem areas were, and I asked them if there was anything they didn't do as a service. I received this response: "yes there is plenty we won't do when you consider we get paid 42 to 45 hr to clean homes that are very clean to begin with. Sounds like the carpet needs ripped out. how gross is the bathroom...is the tub brown? ---------- Sent from my Verizon Wireless mobile phone" Now, I don't mind that they asked if my bathtub was brown (which it isn't) or that they think the carpet needs to be ripped out (which it doesn't). There are three things that really bother me with this email: 1) If you are sending an email to a potential customer, show some respect by capitalizing your sentences and sending it from a real email address, not a mobile phone. Especially if you plan on being borderline rude. 2) I feel like this shows considerable disrespect to their current customer base. It basically says they believe the work they do isn't hard. 3) They charge by the hour. Whether my apartment is clean or dirty has nothing to do with that. If it's dirtier you stay longer, and get paid more. It's hourly. They're a cleaning service that doesn't clean dirty houses and sends terse emails that are borderline rude that show little respect to potential business. I ended up going with another cleaning service that did a fantastic job in little time, and didn't once complain that my apartment was dirtier than the houses they usually clean. Also, they didn't rip out my carpet, and they emailed me professionally AND called me. I may delete this review in the future since I'm not wild about being the "first to review," but for now I think they deserve it. Terrible customer service, and disrespectful of the work they do for their own customers.

The house had hard water and it had been really hard to keep up with the buildup around the kitchen and bath fixtures, and especially the glass shower surround. The house also (for some odd reason) had a gas range with NO hood for grease, steam or other vapors and the kitchen had a lot of grease that had aerosolized over the three years we'd lived there (plus the prior - um - FOREVER that others had lived and cooked there with no hood!!!), so the walls needed wiping, the pendant lights were greasy, the floors were greasy... To make the housecleaner's nightmare complete, we had a Great Dane. If you know Danes, you know they are notorious for drooling and when they shake their head it goes flying everywhere. Even if you love Danes, cleaning up after them is not always fun. And once that drool dries, it takes a bit of elbow grease to get it off the walls, doors, baseboards, and sometimes ceiling without damaging the paint. It was a big job. Brenda and her crew were up to the task. And for a very affordable price, I might add. Not only were they flexible (I think we changed the date/time of the cleaning twice), but they were very reliable, trustworthy, independent, communicative, and did a sparkling clean job! Our landlord was impressed. They said they wouldn't even need to bring other providers in before they listed the house for sale. That was impressive. I wish I'd taken before and after pics because they would tell the whole story. Hire these guys - you won't regret it. She also knows a very affordable carpet cleaner with whom she can coordinate, should you need that. His prices were also very good, though we didn't use him since we'd already arranged for carpets to be done prior to meeting Brenda.

I have Quality Cleaning come in every other week to do a deep clean and I'm extremely please with the results. All of the cleaning products they use are non toxic and pet friendly. I have a lot of stainless steel appliances that get water marks if not cleaned, and they do an amazing job making them polished and shine. Erica is very friendly and does an amazing job handling my 4 month old puppy and is very efficient with the Quality Cleaning standard cleaning list. Occasionally, I have an annual cleaning list on top of the standard one that I request (ie: cleaning the inside of the oven, wiping down the inside of your fridge-just let them know) and they've been able to go above and beyond my expectations. Whenever I have a cleaning question Erica always seems to know the answer to my problems. For example, one time Erica noticed that my shower curtains were starting to have that tint of pink algae growing and instead of throwing it out and getting a new one, she suggested that I use vinegar and put it in the washing machine instead of bleach. The shower curtain came out looking brand new!! My home is new construction and it feels great to maintain that new house feel thanks to Erica and Quality Cleaning!
