I am beyond frustrated with UPS. I ordered sports equipment for a tournament early in the week through Amazon. At the latest the shipping information stated that it would be here Friday, February 23rd. (I live in Tigard) The package arrived in Portland on Thursday from Kentucky and made its way to Maryland. Why? I have no clue. UPS then decided to ship it to this location. Now the only problem is...UPS Tualatin is closed on the weekends so now i won't get my package until Monday, February 26th. Out of all locations you guys decide to deliver my package that is already late to a location that is closed. So now I have to pull out of a tournament that is non-refundable...thanks to a huge screw up on your end. I will never order anything online again if they're shipping with UPS. This UPS Customer Center has friendly helpful staff. When the lobby isn't busy, they will even help you bring your packages in from your vehicle especially if you have a disability. ADA compliant with sliding glass doors which is a plus for anyone with large packages There's 4 curbside parking spaces plus a handicap space. FedEx Ship Center nearby only has one curbside space that's not a handicapped space. There's 4 expansive counters for customers to pack their packages . Each counter has two packing tape dispensers. FedEx Ship Center has told me a few times that I have to bring my own packing tape. FedEx Office charged me $4+ per box to add a minor amount of packing paper and tape the box The best thing is that they are open until 8pm weekdays and 1pm Saturday, which is also their cutoff time for UPS ground. (FedEx cutoff is 6pm weekdays and doesn't have weekend service) I read the other reviews and FedEx Ship Centers don't have public bathrooms either. AKA unfair reviews. Pricing depends on destination. I would leave negative 5 stars if possible.UPS used to be such a good efficient company. I tried to check to make sure a package was actually there and I just got stuck in a 5 minute automated phone tree that won't let you talk to an actual human. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered. They said they couldnt deliver it because of an incomplete address. They have delivered to my address in the past. I verified the address i listed for delivery, its my address so why can't they deliver it??? Now i have to go pick it up at their location. Extremely disappointed. Sender labeled package wrong. Spent 2 hours on the phone, called sender and they told me I needed to address issue with UPS. They held my paCkage here. I requested a family member to pick up, since they were in the area. They would not do it. I spent another hour on the phone with no resolve. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they put me on hold for endless amount of time, never connecting. I had to drive an hour each way to pick up item. I addressed my concern with the employee telling her how disappointed I was with the process. Her reply was, " I hope you feel better now that you vented" How UNPROFESSIONAL is that! I just received my enormous, heavy crate safely here in NYC, and it is largely because of the team at the Tualatin location--Sam, Leah, Erin, and Geri. I am amazed that they made it happen. They are total superheroes. According to my mother-in-law who dropped off the box, they were kind, professional, and more than efficient. read more

They've always done well by me and take care of my needs when I come through. I appreciate the quality customer service and will continue to use UPS for my deliveries as they are FAR MORE reliable than their competitors. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but with all of the negative reviews this place has gotten I feel it's worth mentioning my good experience. Though yes, they did lose my package for a couple days due to a miscommunication between staff(from what I was told), they did a great job at making sure it got to me eventually, safe and sound. A particular employee, Jerry, took his own time and called me from his personal phone, assuring me and updating me of when my $250 package was found and delivered, since online it wasn't updating for me because they lost it. It was only delivered 2 days late, which I know for some people that can even be too late, but they did their best. In the past I'll admit I haven't had the greatest experience with UPS, but the employees here are great and very helpful, and from my experience the package will get to you safe and sound as quickly as possible. read more

UPS has quit delivering due to "weather" so it has been over a week since we have received a package. There was one particular package that my husband absolutely needed, it wasn't anything frivolous, so I called yesterday to set up a pick up at the will call. I spoke to customer service THREE times and they guaranteed pickup for tomorrow and that someone from this location would call me to confirm. No phone call but they did email my husband today to tell him to pick it up. He left work early to get his package, arrived at the center, and the gate was closed with a sign saying they were closed due to WEATHER. There are zero fires in Tualatin and the smoke is the best it has been in days. Also, there is no way to contact this place to find out if they will be open until 530, which are their listed hours! So, he drove all the way there for nothing. I called customer service, they sent a message to this place telling me they would reach out to me by phone. Have not received that call either. They closed early, my husband got off work specifically to get this package and they closed due to imaginary weather. Thank GOD for Amazon and USPS who keep delivering and working! Never using UPS again. Horrible customer service, just a terrible company. read more

We were waiting for a pair of glasses. Delivery said it would be close of business on a Friday, then the package was inexplicably delayed. Now it will be close of business Monday--like I even trust that schedule either. As the glasses are needed on Monday morning, we will have to go to a special place over the weekend and pay extra to get glasses made. Wish I could bill UPS for THAT cost! read more

Seems like a lot of Online retail packages get Lost in Transit at Tualtin UPS Hub, they do not seem to care. I hope someone is enjoying my womens denim pants, or maybe they resold them online. to add Gap doesn't seem to care either they take it as a loss, I wonder how often that happens. And gap will not let you reorder and pick up in a store, they only do a signed delivery on reorder. read more

Haven't delivered packages because of recent weather storm. Which makes sense WHILE the storm is going on. But it's been a week, roads are clear, and still no residential deliveries. I ask text chat on ups.com what's going on. I get promised delivery will take place, but it never does. Here's why: every day they scan a package like it's on a truck. And then about 8:15pm when the trucks roll back to the hub an "exception" is made on your package due to an "emergency situation or severe weather condition" of which neither exist anymore. But this way, they can make it LOOK like they are attempting delivery & therefore you can't file a claim with them. Your shipper can't do anything either; their hands are tied until UPS makes delivery or admits they lost it during the storm. I went to the location TWO times. Talked to supervisor both times. Was told the scans I see on a tracking history aren't really scans. They're "projections" the system made & because of that no one knows where the packages really are since they are stored on a trailer. What?!? Completely opposite of what UPS Customer Service tells you & also, you're the largest delivery service in the world. You can't find which trailer it's on? Ok...I'll let you Yelpers determine for yourself what the truth is. The supervisor told me I received "bad information". But the kicker...when I was in demanding my packages that I had UPS Customer Service put on hold for pickup (that the supervisor said couldn't be found & that I shouldn't have been told could be picked up) a couple of other older gentlemen in the same boat as me come in. One gets beaten down with excuses, gets tired of hearing them & leaves. The other man has a medical boot on his foot & is getting angry because he wants his package since it has medical supplies in it. Since I'm getting tired of trying to talk to the levels of apathy & stupidity (not to mention the "bad information" insert eye roll here) that work here, I tell the supervisor that he should go help that man. I get myself & my kids buckled up...and watch the supervisor go out for a smoke break. Definitely not supporting any retailers who use UPS for shipping anymore. Just appalling customer service by this local hub. And if USPS can chain up & get me my mail DURING the storm, I'm pretty sure you can handle catch-up AFTER the storm...unless driver labor contracts prevent you from doing that. read more

This package was shipped 2nd day air. It was supposed to arrive on Friday 22nd. It actually arrive in Portland on Friday. It said delivery rescheduled for Saturday 23rd. It arrived in Tualatin at 1:15 am. I've been waiting all day and now at 10:00 pm it has been rescheduled AGAIN for Tuesday 26th... after Christmas! This is unacceptable! I really am going to rethink purchasing anything online if the carrier is UPS! read more

POOR service! Next day air means a week latter and the part bent in half. They don't care when you contact them about tracking the is sent East instead of West because they put it on the wrong plane for next day air service. Their response is you will get it when you get it. read more
