I wasn't having any luck, so once again I let Yelp figure it out. I posted a thread in Yelp talk and within minutes had a suggestion for Circle E candles which are locally made in Fredericksburg. I had never heard of these! Why? Do I live in a candleless bubble of worthless knowledge? Off to Google I went and Mail & More (M&M) popped up. Was glad to see they are family owned. I drove straight there as I needed to get the fried potato smell out of my house. I found M&M right beside of Gino's. I got out of the truck and started walking to the store. That's when the confusion sat in. I saw lots of vacuum cleaners sitting on the side walk in front of the store. Hmm. Mail, candles and vacuum cleaners? Whaat? I went in and was immediately greeted by a most pleasant lady. The store is junky and crowded (my kinda place). There are vacuum cleaners and parts and gifts strewn all about, but, up against one wall are shelves of Circle E candles. Thanks to Yelp and fellow Yelpers I found what I was after, plus something else. I found a store that has parts, and will do repairs, on my Dyson. How cool is that? I've been needing a new filter and just so happens they had one! These guys repair most vacuum's and sell parts like belts, filters and bags. They are the Authorized Service Center for Silver King and Thermax Home Cleaning Systems. Call them to see if they can satisfy your needs: (512) 238-9800. These guys also have a diverse variety of gifts that are unique to local shops like this. They will even package your gifts and ship them via Fed EX or USPS! This is like one stop shopping! P.S. I love my Circle E candle and the lady that works there is quit knowledgeable on the scents.

However using the Pflugerville Pecan St location will result in some rude treatment from the owner. She and I had an unpleasant conversation about the fact that since I wasn't her "customer", she was entitled to charge me a pickup fee. According to her I had no business in using her store as a pickup location. She mentioned charging me a fee. I happen to know the regulations about shipping and calmly explained that she had no right to limit pickups in the UPS system. She became increasingly rude and angry but finally released the package. She really wanted to be angry and didn't expect dealing with someone knowledgeable about the regulations related to interstate commerce. The regular employees are fine, no issues. However this woman has ensured that that store will not see any of my UPS business that will generate revenue for her.
