It has the perfect amount of heat--enough to let you know it's there without overwhelming the flavor of the meat. Our daughter always gets the kids' pulled pork sandwich, and it's honestly hilarious because the thing is practically the size of her face. Somehow she manages to demolish every last bite every single time, which says a lot considering she's usually a pretty picky eater. One thing you absolutely can't skip is the cornbread. Calling it cornbread almost feels wrong because it tastes more like cake. It's sweet, incredibly moist, and has become a mandatory side every time we visit. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly, which makes the experience even better. They also remodeled recently and improved the airflow inside the restaurant, so it's much cooler and more comfortable than it used to be. Great BBQ, amazing cornbread, friendly people, and portions big enough to share. Porky Butts has earned its spot as our family's go-to BBQ restaurant.
