Seriously - 6 solid stars ! I had a great first appointment here. This doctor did an amazing job for me on my sore neck and back and I will definitely go back as needed. I took my daughter here as well and she also left feeling much better ! I can only highly recommend that you give it a try, especially if you feel you need more than just a massage for sore muscles. Chiropractic work makes sense and it's made a huge positive difference for me. read more

I had an appointment, but unfortunately, my GPS led me to the wrong location. When I called to let them know I would be arriving less than 10 minutes late, they refused to see me and wanted to reschedule for a different date. This really annoyed me, because we had to make the time to go there--wasting gas and losing time--only for them to tell me they couldn't see me. That is not professionalism. read more

I found Unwind Chiropractic through Yelp (thanks fellow Yelpers!). I have nothing but good things to say about Doc and the staff. So hospitable, nice, and really listens to your needs. I was looking for a new chiropractor closer to me (I used to drive to Torrance to see my old one). Found them and would recommend them in a heartbeat. Office is easy to get to - in the plaza near planet fitness. read more

A Truly gifted Chiropractor. As a busy Contractor, I have experienced my share of pain in neck and back areas over the last 37 years of physical labor. I was recommended to Dr. Chris from a Client of many years. Long story short , walked in with pain and walked with a gait of a person many years older. I walked out with no pain and a feeling of relief and well being. Dr. Chris Is truly gifted with his "art". read more

I love it here! It is simple, fast, efficient and to the point to set an appointment. You get text and email reminders, which I love because I forget everything. I was actually extremely scared to go to a chiropractic session initially, but Chris is extremely patient. There is no pushy sales coming from him. I would also highly recommend getting a massage from Aida. She's the best. She really knows her stuff. I can't think of a better duo than Chris and Aida. He loosens my muscles and she massages them. It's like a dream. The place is also kept very clean. read more

Great service at an affordable price with amazing availability. I always leave with my back feeling like new

My stiff neck is gone in one session. Thanks to Dr. Chris miracle touch! He is very professional and skillful. Pricing is very reasonable. There is no wait for your session. Clean and upscale with plenty of parking. read more

Wow. I have seen the chiropractor here several times and he is very kind and helpful. However, I have rarely experienced such terrible front desk service. This is not the first time I've walked into this office to a quite unpleasant front desk associate. The receptionist didn't even look up when we walked in. When I asked if they offered a certain type of adjustment, she still didn't look up from her computer and then cut me off mid sentence - without hearing me out in the first place or looking up even once to greet us or acknowledge she was listening. I will not be returning based primarily on the front desk staff. read more

I love the care I get here. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My treatments leave very relaxed and help me get back to work. Thanks for your care. read more

I usually get nervous when I go to a chiropractor but that is not the case when I go to Dr. Chris. Unlike the other places I've tried before discovering Unwind Chiropractor Care, Dr. Christ takes his time to examine you and prep your body before doing any adjustment. Service is warm and friendly. Highly recommend this place and Dr. Chris. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Chris since July 2021, first weekly, now every two weeks. I initially decided to try chiropractic therapy back in July 2021 to help recurring lower back pain that resulted from a back spasm injury in 2016. I had always been a little skeptical/afraid of seeing a chiropractor in the past, but now I realize that was unnecessary because it's not scary nor painful at all! Before giving the chiropractor a try, other doctors had prescribed me mild back pain medication and I used to get acupuncture. The acupuncture helped for a little while, but just wasn't cutting it. The medications didn't help the back pain much, and I don't like taking medications (they make me sleepy). Dr. Chris's chiropractic adjustments have tempered any flare-ups (mainly as a result of sitting for long periods of time working) so they are much more manageable, and my back feels better and improved in general. The chiropractic adjustment part is quite relaxing and feels nice - like a mini massage and stretching where it's needed. I imagine other chiropractors could practice differently, so I definitely recommend giving Unwind a try because Dr. Chris is great! He's also very friendly, so the overall experience is very pleasant :) read more

I have been going to see Dr. Chris since he opened up Unwind. He is very attentive to your needs and makes sure to check in with me before making any adjustments. Prior to coming here I had tried a few different offices and usually, I felt like I was just being pushed through and not really cared for. They would just crack my back and neck and send me on my way. Dr. Chris takes the time and I never feel rushed or that he is just passing me through to get to the next person. Also, he takes FSA/HSA if you have one through work. read more

I got diagnosed via MRI at Kaiser with 2 mild circumferential bulging discs, a dehydrated disc and a tear. I have never experienced not being able to move due to inner lower back pain in my life. After going to unwind my back was fixed in about 3 weeks. The doctor also educated me and he also preps your muscles before he does his adjustments. Go to him at least one month, 4 times if you are injured. Thanks. Ps. I also highly recommend stretching your hip flexors and hamstrings while recovering. I saw a physical therapist that helped me recover as well. Take care. read more

Dr. Chris does a great job. I've been coming hear for a month and am so surprised how much better my back and hips feel. The prices are the lowest I've ever seen and Dr. Chris really cares about his patients. I've signed up for another! read more

Dr. Chris is great. I came here due to intense shoulder and neck pain that was progressively getting worse. It had gotten so bad I was ready to see my primary care Dr who likely would've put me on medication. I've had two sessions so far and have also been using the posture brace sold in the office. The combination has helped me so much! The packages are super affordable and Dr Chris really cares about helping people feel better! There's plenty of free parking & scheduling is very easy. read more

Highly recommend this Chiro! I've been getting adjusted since 2019 and have seen a few different doctors and I love Unwind. Since have two pregnancies back to back, I've had a lot of sciatic pain and lower back/hip pain. I always feel great after leaving Unwind! read more

Unethical practice, Discrimination. Dr Chris is good at covering his racist attitude. I disclosed I'm from China, and he asked me if I know anyone making Nike shoes in China. And he arrogantly made fun of how products made in China have poor quality, are fake and violating copy rights. After I told him this is inappropriate and and made me uncomfortable, and he was using stereotyped language, he still went on and on. Ironically, Doctor Chris is also Asian descent. I feel very sad and sorry to see he presents himself in this way, very unprofessionally and disrespectfully, with no humbleness, open awareness and common sense of equal rights and social justice. read more

I've had re-occurring lower back (sciatica) back pains ever since having back surgery 8 years ago. I've come to terms that I'll have back pains for the rest of my life. Coming to see Chris every 2 weeks for a massage and back alignment has allowed me to resume daily life with little to no pain or discomfort. If you have any back, neck, or leg pains, I highly recommend seeing Chris for a consultation and treatment!! read more

Price is fair but you also get what you pay for it's not exactly an extensive doctor he just does your basic crack your neck and pop your back in 15 min or less just depends on what your looking for I guess overall wasn't bad may or may not go back read more

I've been to other chiropractors in the past, but the experience hasn't been the best. Either they're very vague about the treatment you're going to get or they aren't upfront about pricing. But at Unwind with Dr. Chris has been the opposite, you already know what you're paying for and the type of treatment you're going to get. It's that simple! The facility is super clean and spacious, it's not over crowded with clients. Once you arrive Dr. Chris is ready for you, (I hardly had to wait). His office is always flexible with appointments; I've had to reschedule many times even the day of and they always accommodate me. Dr. Chris and his team are amazing, super friendly and if you have any questions or concerns they will always answer them. read more

I highly recommend this place. I hurt my sciatica nerve a few months ago, I barely walked into this place. I was in a lot of pain, never appreciated being able to walk normal until now. Dr. Chris knew exactly what to do and like others have said, it wasn't a rushed process. I know recovery time is different for everyone but in my case after 5 visits I'm almost back to normal! What I also enjoy about his location is the modern sleek look and most importantly cleanliness. You can't get enough of that nowadays. If you're having back pain, give Dr. Chris a chance, you'll be please with the results. read more

Dr. Chris and his staff are truly the best! The front desk staff is always very welcoming and kindly helps you out with all scheduling needs or questions. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was in desperate need of help with my lower back pain and upper shoulder knots that wouldn't go away. Dr. Chris was the first chiropractor I went to after reading such great reviews, which did not disappoint! He always makes me feel comfortable and at ease for each adjustment and went a step further to equip me with exercises and stretches that I could perform at home to further my recovery and help correct my posture. He is a kindhearted and dedicated physician that truly cares for the well-being of his patients. If you've never been to a chiropractor or are feeling apprehensive to seek chiropractic care like I was, give Dr. Chris a chance and you will not be disappointed with his friendly and inviting personality and his professional and personalized care that he will provide you with. tl;dr -- He helped my back and shoulder issues. I've been going to Unwind chiropractic care for a few months now and Dr. Chris has really helped with my lower back pain. When I first walked in, my back was in excruciating pain, but after a few adjustments, he has really helped ease my back pain. His pricing for his care packages & treatments are incomparable; the other chiropractors I've been to charge so much just for a single treatment. If you are looking for top-notch service for an affordable price, this is the place to go. Their customer service is excellent and goes beyond measure; they will make you feel right at home & Dr. Chris did an exceptional job with designing his office so that the patients feel welcome and comfortable. Most importantly, you do not need an appointment, just walk-in and they will be happy to assist you. The location is also very much convenient because there are grocery stores and a gym right next door; it is a one-stop shop plaza. Overall a 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend anyone to stop by and visit. read more

I came in after pulling a muscle in my leg playing with my kids on the floor. I had to call out for work and could barely walk. I was looking for a place that could see me right away. Luckily I looked on Yelp and saw Unwind was open and was available for me to come in last minute. Dr. Chris was amazing! Very professional, knowledgeable and covid safe. He was able to adjust my back and relax my muscles. The ultrasound was a great add on. Immediately after, I wasn't sure if I felt great improvement but by the night time, I could feel a major difference. The muscle pain was completely gone by morning! It was my first visit to a chiropractor and definitely won't be my last. Highly recommend Dr. Chris at Unwind. read more

I've been coming here for a couple months now and it's definitely my favorite chiropractor I've been to. I've been a member of some other places, but this family owned practice has a much higher level of customer service. What I didn't like at my previous place was that they would try to get me in and out ASAP without even assessing why I even came in. At Unwind, they do a full assessment to determine the best treatment each time I'm in because each time may be for a different ailment. Overall, I've been coming consistently and have seen a huge decrease in my sciatica flare ups so I can truly say the treatment is effective and I'm completely satisfied. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Chris. I was first introduced to his practice from my brother in law when I had been suffering from shoulder pain from training Brazilian jiujitsu. After a couple of weeks of treatment, I started to notice improvement in my shoulder with increased mobility without any pain. Due to the effectiveness in the treatment, I along with my wife became regulars, getting treatment multiple times a month. It has been roughly 5-6 months now of consistent treatment and I can say my shoulders are pain free. I still live a very active lifestyle and am constantly training, and having Dr. Chris helps with my recovery. Dr. Chris' is office is very clean. He is very serious about his COVID protocols and appointments need to be made in advance. I believe he limits the number of patients he sees a day, and keeps his facility sanitized. Masks are mandatory. If you need to see a chiropractor and are in the Duarte/Monrovia/Arcadia area, please check out Dr. Chris' spot. read more

Chris has been my doctor for few years. He's friend and very professional. I've been to the new clinic and the location is easy to park and very clean and bright inside. Dr.Chris is one of the BEST Chiropractor's I know. I have been going to see a Chiropractor since I was 8 years of age. I am so thankful to finally have a good Chiropractor in Duarte. Dr. Chris is very affordable and very accommodating with his scheduled. He is always willing to work with your schedule to get you seen. My almost 3 year old has sensory processing. He see's Dr. Chris once a month and it has made a huge difference in his sleep patterns, his behavior and his over all health. My 10 year old step son gets seen twice a month. Dr. Chris has made. A huge difference in his life, he has helped him with some of his bed wetting issues, as well has his knee always hurting. I myself suffer from severe fibromyalgia and now that I have gone back under Chiropractor care with Dr. Chris it has made a huge difference in my day to day life. I can't forget to say that he has one of nicest down to earth office assistant Sophie. She is always so sweet to my kids and willing to assist you with whatever we need.
