Dr. Yang is the best. She's very professional and extremely friendly. I have been going for a while now and have noticed big improvements to my back. I had an accident when playing basketball which probably permanently damaged my back so I feel like an old man at times. My back gets sore after 2-3 weeks so I schedule my appointments about 4 weeks out so it fits perfectly. The sessions takes about 5-10 mins and the roller bed is about 10 mins too. Feels great after. You know that scene from Mr & Mrs Smith, where Angelina snaps that guy's neck and kills him? ... Yeah... it's because of scenes like that that made me stop going to the chiro. But due to my continuous bad posture (way to go Internet/PC!) and the popping sound of my left shoulder (thanks man on the fwy who mistaken the gas for the break pedal and made me a part of an automobile sandwich), I couldn't put off going to the chiro any longer! Since I thew my back out in the Army, I was living with chronic lower back pain for the past 8 years. Since i have been in my present job, My back pain seems to get worse and worse. Plane rides were unbearable due to sitting for prolong periods of time and constant sharp nerve pains shot up and throughout my back. Dr. Yangs sessions fixed me up real good within 3 to 4 months. I stayed with her for several months and the pain in my back went away completely. I am so glad to have gone through the treatment because I thought I might have to live with the pain for the rest of my life. Dr. Yang is the best! She's so friendly, very skilled, and remembers everything about me. She starts each appointment with a follow-up from the last time she saw me, assessing for pain management, treatment result, etc. Then, she asks if anything new has popped up since my last visit. While she's treating me, she's checking in on me personally (she remembers that I'm a runner, so we usual chat about our next races and how training is going). Never do I feel that she is not paying attention to my body, as no treatment is ever the same. She's not just a copy-and-paste doc! Specialized to me, Dr. Yang truly cares about my holistic health and makes sure we're partnering together for my health. BONUS: she has a massage therapist who operates out of her office once a week at a discounted rate to patients. I LOVE this because, A) everyone loves massages, and B) I don't have to worry about the quality of my massage. I trust Dr. Yang, and therefore trust the massage therapist. I don't give 5 stars lightly people. This place is freaking amazing. Dr. Yang really is *the best* chiropractor I've ever been to-- and I've had a few bad experiences. I worked for a horrid one (Principal Chiropractic in Garden Grove-- stay FAR away from those guys!) and he thought spending 15 minutes (if that) adjusting someone, not listening to their concerns or spending any time evaluating them, was a good business. They actually *train* other Chiropractors to do this sort of "care". Yikes. Dr. Yang spent over an hour with me at the first appointment. She even checked my reflexes and flexibility. She listened to my concerns, wrote notes on them and wanted to have a followup with me following her adjustment. She uses pressure first, and does something that feels like a massage, then adjusts. It's incredible! Then she has you on a 15 minute rolling table which is very relaxing. I walk out of the office once a month feeling like I've been to a spa treatment. I got zero aches and pains or headaches from her adjustments, something I can't say about other docs I've been to. My husband wont ever go again because of the nasty headache he got from the last adjustment. He's going to Balance soon too. I also want to note that I am pregnant. I had debilitating pain and could barely walk in the first few weeks due to all the hormonal changes. I couldn't sleep either because of the pain. I decided to see her once a month for the remainder of my pregnancy and and cannot be happier with the care I am receiving. I really feel great! After an unfortunate car accident on Valentine's day, my back had been bothering me for quite some time. After visiting a couple chiropractors, I didn't feel like I was getting the help I needed to feel better. A co-worker had recommended visiting Dr. Yang because of how thorough she is with her process and treatment, so I decided to give it a shot. First thing about the facility is how welcoming it was. Jessica at the front desk was awesome and helped me get going. The next thing were the aesthetics of the place: pictures, colors, etc all just seemed to feel "right." Then it came time to see Dr. Yang. Dr. Yang was nothing short of amazing. As she began her initial assessment on me, it became apparent that she was definitely as thorough as my co-worker had made her out to be. She made sure that not only did I understand the possible causes of pain and discomfort I may have been experiencing, but also on what treatment can help as well as what I can do on my own to improve my condition. When it was time to go to sleep later in the day, I was able rest feeling like I was on my way to recovery and towards an improved quality of life. Needless to say I that first thing was the first time I was able to sleep extremely well. I have been going to Dr. Yang now for several months and cannot remember the last time I felt any of the pain that I did prior to treatment. My boyfriend and I recently relocated to the area from downtown and were looking to find a new chiropractor. We both work a lot on computers. Both laptops and desktops and often find ourselves in painful poor posture positions before the day is through. We selected based on convenient location and reviews. I can get very busy and often prefer to correspond via email when possible. I was amazed at the ease of contacting/scheduling an appointment/getting my questions answered by email. The actual doctor responded directly and was very prompt and helpful. We were off to a great start! My boyfriend is(well, was!) very skeptical of chiros and has had some bad experiences in the past. That said, he literally came home raving about how nice Dr. Yang was, how professional and thorough the consult was, and most important: how much better his back felt. I had an appointment soon after and was equally pleased. The initial consult included flexibility and range of motion tests and discussing a thorough patient questionnaire. Spent 10 minutes on a roller bed (like a foam roller without having to do any of the work yourself). Was then moved into the treatment room for some soft tissue work (like a mini pressure point massage in problem areas) and several amazing adjustments. We have both been set up w a reasonable treatment plan to get us feeling good and able to taper off to more periodic maintenance work. Accepts a bunch of insurance plans and non insurance prices are very reasonable. $100 consult fee, $50 for adjustment (this includes the roller table and tissue work). Got a $25 discount on my exam for bringing in their printed yelp page. Office also offers acupuncture and massage services. If you are a chiropractic patient, the massage fee is reduced from $70/hr to $49/hr, which is a great price. Dr. Yang is AWESOME! She is a doctor that can address your needs both medically and personal interaction. What does this mean? She quickly gets a sense of her patients and will interact with them based upon amount of interaction that you return to her. She always remembers her patients' names and things going on in their lives. It's like having a friend who is your doctor. Referred by a family member, I came to Dr. Yang 2 years ago with lower back stiffness caused by excessive weight and bad sitting posture - further contributing to the lower back problems. Within 3 months of bi-monthly visits, Dr. Yang relieved some of the pressure in my neck and lower back and demonstrated exercises that could help reduce the pressure in my neck (6 visits is good, quick progress to begin seeing process). With these treatments, I was able to begin to commit to a exercise regimen that included 3-5 mile runs weekly and weight training. I now visit her monthly and each time I feel so much better. She is truly a great doctor to have but I could not accomplish as much these last 18 months without her help. read more

Love love love coming here! I originally came because I was having some pretty severe pain by my left shoulder blade. No one was ever quite sure what caused it but my doctors in the past have always just tossed me some pills and called it a day. The problem with those pills is they make me sleepy, not so great when you have to work. I came to Dr. Yang and after two sessions in two weeks the pain was pretty much gone. My first appointment with her was great and she was able to pinpoint the problem area right away. Not gonna lie, that first day was painful, but I've had this shoulder blade pain on and off for years and have gone to reflexologists that love to dig their elbows into my back so I just grit my teeth and take it. After my first appointment Dr. Yang called me the next day to check up on me which I felt was a very nice touch. She has great follow-up. Speaking of follow-up, it's great that Jessica, the lady at the front, calls the day before to remind me of my appointments. I initially found Dr. Yang when I was pregnant. I woke up one morning with sharp shooting pain going down my leg and made an appointment based on recommendations from others in my neighborhood. At the first appointment, Dr. Yang did a detailed evaluation and worked out a plan for my pain and subsequent treatment. I had weekly appointments throughout my pregnancy and still continue to treat with her on a regular basis for all my everyday aches that come with having a new baby. Dr. Yang is super friendly and warm. I love coming to her office and having our chats as she works out the aches. She is very bubbly and treats all her patients with the same level of professionalism and care. I have never waited more than a couple minutes after checking in and her text reminders are really helpful for someone who forgets things. Dr. Yang is EXCEPTIONAL. I have gone to see Dr. Yang for about 20 times now, and each time she is always cheerful and attentive to my needs. I have scoliosis so she was able to target the specific areas that caused me lots of pain, and even treated places on my lower back that I didn't know were affecting the joints in my spine. Dr. Yang really desired for me to get better, so now I don't need to see her as often because I'm feeling less and less pain after every visit. I had California Blue Shield insurance and was covered for all my visits, with a copay of $10 or $15. She has such a smooth touch that she can penetrate the stone of muscles between my shoulder blades and provide instant relief without causing me pain.
