I don't think I'm alone in saying that the majority of doctor/medicinal experiences, no matter how great the doctor themselves are, are ruined by terrible and rude office and receptionists, long wait times, etc. But not here. China is so nice, efficient, and will always do her best to get you scheduled. She's even managed to get me in on the same day for times where I'm in just too much pain and need to get help asap. Both Dr Swart and Dr Clarizo are fantastic - you can't go wrong with treatment. Depending on your needs, they have electrostimulation, waterbed massage, massage therapy, and adjustments. They are very detailed in evaluating your medical history and I have always felt like I'm in trusted hands when I'm here. read more

I purchased a Groupon and called to schedule an appointment shortly before it expired. The receptionist offered me either Wednesday or Friday, and Friday was the only day that worked for me. When I arrived, limping and in considerable pain, I was told that my Groupon had expired and that I would need to pay an additional $55. I was then told that the Groupon could have been redeemed over the phone when I made the appointment. Had that been mentioned during the scheduling call, I would have redeemed it immediately. Instead, I made the trip only to be turned away with an unexpected charge. My disappointment isn't with the policy itself--it's with the lack of communication. Groupon is meant to introduce new customers to a business. This could have been the start of a long-term relationship and a repeat customer. Instead, I never even got the chance to try the treatment. A simple heads-up when I booked the appointment would have prevented this entire experience. read more

I've gone through 6 sessions with Dr. Swart and although I am not "fixed"-- I did improve over the course of treatment, I would definitely recommend him as a chiropractor. I purchased a groupon for adjustments + massage and was relieved to see that he was caring, passionate and knowledgeable during my initial assessment/ adjustment. He explained to me the purpose and goal of going to a chiropractor for neck pain and that he would refer me appropriately if the pain/ adjustments didn't help. I trusted him from the beginning because he was not pushy about continuing adjustments and was very clear about his plan. Obviously everyone's treatment is individualized and you should read mine with a grain of salt. I had tried everything for my neck pain during the year of COVID -- it was due to TMJ and grinding and I knew it was due to the obvious increased stress at work (healthcare). I broke through my regular mouthguard within 6 months, researched a TMJ specialist (who knew there was one), went to get specialized treatment with that specialist and a new special guard but the strain on my neck increased. I've heard that chiropractors can add to therapy which is what I did-- along with jaw exercises, I do feel that his adjustments helped over the few weeks. I did once a week for 6 weeks and after that initial "treatment" phase-- I am planning to continue to do once a month to every 2 months as suggested. Wear loose clothing for adjustments (I always wore workout clothes) and the ESTEM therapy (a professional TENS unit that you can opt to get after the adjustment) and don't be scared. It is always weird at first when you're expecting to have your neck cracked but Dr. Swart is gentle and smooth with his process. I totally suggest getting a 30 min massage there if you can book an appt. It's very cool that the office is associated with physical therapy, massage and an acupuncturist. There's a parking lot and it can get tight/ busy but I never had trouble during any time of the day. I attached the package for adjustment. Swart explained to me the process of the adjustment and showed me stretching techniques to help with my lower back pain. In June I hurt my shoulder pretty badly from doing a front weighted squat with bad form, and that combined with the fact that I practice Muay Thai and BJJ, and work in an office, resulted in excruciating pain in my left upper body. It was to the point where I felt like I was being stabbed in the chest / having a heart attack. Granted, that side of my body has always been prone to inflammation, and when I first started workout out I would suffer tendonitis fairly often. However, this pain was the worst I've ever felt, and uniquely different from anything I've been able to self-heal. Since then I've started doing yoga and physical rehabilitation routines more often, but my posture has not gone back to normal. I finally decided to give a chiropractor a chance (even though the procedure has always scared me!) due to numerous recommendations, and I happened to find Dr.Swart on Groupon. He has glowing reviews (which isn't common on Groupon or in any medical field, really). The office is really quiet and calming, with convenient parking and an easy to find location. Alan, my masseuse, was amazing! He gives the right amount of pressure and can trigger point spots I didn't even know were in pain. I felt like mush after his 30 minute massage, I can only imagine an hour's worth! Dr. Swart is extremely informative. He understands diet and fitness lifestyles, as well as trying to find new perspectives on both and catering it to an individual's daily life (i.e. I'm 30 and I need to learn to cater my fitness routines to what my body is capable of, versus what it was capable of when I was 25). He also knew I was pretty scared of getting adjusted, so he talked me through everything and was very attentive to when I would involuntarily tense. I felt so much mobility return and tension leave my shoulder and neck after the adjustments! I now understand why many people love going to chiropractors. Even though I found this place on Groupon, I will definitely be back! The prices are so fair and the services & staff are worth every cent. EDIT: Make sure you stay on top of your appointments, I'm not sure if it's their system or what but somehow I keep getting reminder calls for appointments I haven't made. I been meaning to write a review of this place! Dr. Swart and his staff are great! I have done a total of 11 sessions need one more session to complete my package . The first 6 sessions where consecutive and my body really appreciated the adjustments. Since going to Dr. Swart , i have a better awareness of what my body posture is trying to tell me. I can now feel when I start to get unaligned. Being aligned correctly feels so great and such a release of tension during each session. I went in originally due to knee pain , which I started to feel less and less knee pain with every session, along with knee straps that Dr. Swart recommended. I still get the knee pain here and there but it's definitely not intense pain anymore which is great! After I do my last session I will probably only go once a year or as needed. read more

I purchased the Groupon deal including a consultation, massage, and three adjustments for $45. Yeah, all of that for just $45! How can you go wrong? I mainly went in for the massage since I have a knot in my neck, but I was very happy with the overall experience and the results as well. Libby, the receptionist, is very welcoming and pleasant, and Dr. Swart was great. He listened to my situation during the consult, explained a little bit of what his practice does, and gave his honest evaluation. The massage therapist then worked on my neck and upper back for a half hour, which really helped out with the tightness in those areas. The adjustments definitely feel refreshing, and following the third one I felt the most benefit for not just my ailing neck, but the rest of my back which I never really thought had any problems or needed treatment. With the Groupon deal, you get the first adjustment with your first visit, and then two subsequent adjustments. Obviously, the deal is a promotion to bring people in, but by no means does Dr. Swart try to pressure you to come back for more treatment or sell you on treatment you don't need. All in all, I'm very happy with the services I received and it's good to know that there's a knowledgeable chiropractor just a few miles from my house. A message and 3 adjustments. swart was very professional and friendly and took the time to inform me of what I needed, what I could do to resolve the issue on my own and provided me with extra consultation after my Groupon ended. What I really liked was that he wanted his clients to get better and didn't want to see me back unless absolutely necessary. I did 5 sessions and I really do feel so much better. I went to Stawrt after a few months of having my baby. My lower back and neck were terrible and he definitely adjusted me and provided me with good exercises to alleviate and improve my problem. My daughter has scoliosis and her orthopedic doctor at Kaiser says going to the chiropractor won't help. But I've taken her to the chiropractor to get adjustments when the pain was unbearable and although it doesn't correct it, it does alleviate the pain. I went on a limb and searched for chiropractors on Groupon and found that Dr. Swart had good reviews on yelp, so I purchased the groupon deal. Out of all the chiropractors we've been to, Dr. Swart has been the most helpful/knowledgeable and even recommended that we see a different chiropractor. A chiropractor that could help/correct my daughter's scoliosis. Who does that now and days (people (most) are greedy)! He could've just took my money and told me to keep bringing my daughter for adjustments! But he didn't! He said she has 2 more adjustments w/ the groupon and after that to go see the other Dr.! Got my adjustments done with Dr. Swart which were spectacular. He consulted me with my pain on my shoulder closer to the neck being scar tissue and suggest a high cost treatment that 80-90% of his customers say pain disappears. But when I get the money for that I will give it a try. I got my deal off Groupon which included, consultation ,3 adjustments, and a 30 minute massage for $45 (great deal) My adjustments were back to back as swear recommended income a few days after my adjustments which pretty much didn't last me a while, just about a week. He is a nice guy, seems to know his stuff. So the reason this review is not 5 stars, is because of the massage. Which I really needed and wanted so bad. The massage was not done by swart but by one of his partners I would say. The massage felt like my little brother or sister were trying to give me a massage. The front desk lady was very nice. I found Dr. Swart through a Groupon deal for 3 adjustments, a deep tissue massage, and a consultation. One of the best qualities a health practitioner can have is the ability to listen. Dr. Swart knew the right questions to ask to figure out my situation and what would be best for my long term health. At the same time he heard what I had to say about my immediate issues that I wanted relief from. After the consultation, he went in and adjusted my body. Instantly my nagging pains were gone. Albeit, most of my problems come from poor posture during the long hours put in front of a computer for work. But, with just that first adjustment those chronic pains disappeared. I followed up with the next 2 adjustments, the major issues haven't comeback since. Muscle memory being what it is and work habits being hard to break, I'm pretty sure I'll have to go back for adjustments regularly. But that's on me not the Doc. Dr. Swart explained that all I really needed was to strengthen and balance out the muscles that were stretched out or unused to resolve the revolving adjustment visits. Which was very cool. Parking was readily available The office is very pleasant, the fountain was a nice touch The doctor saw me on time which is always nice He was able to perform the adjustments, but the reason I went in was to get a chest pain diagnosed: I figured it would be a pulled muscle or misplaced rib, as I'm an athlete and this sort of thing happens from time to time. He introduced a high-tech machine he does his treatments through, and if I had the money for it I would be back. The massage therapist who worked on me was great - it was only 30 minutes, but I got 60-90 minutes benefits in the specific areas where I needed it. Sometimes they will do a full body really not targeting the problems, or not be aware of what needs fixing. Doctor Swart walked me over and explained in anatomical terms where I needed the help, and made him aware of any potential pain I might have. Doctor Swart definitely showed his expertise, and impressed me when I asked about a knee issue I have been having - he quickly explained it could be fixed by buying some patellar tendom straps, the ones runners usually wear at Sports Chalet, rather than getting some expensive treatment from him or another doc. He works with various populations, but athletes as well, and understands we need to get back in the game as soon as possible, whilst holding up his personal values, reminding us that we are wearing our bodies down, and there are better ways to maintain it. The good thing about Dr. Swart is he doesn't try to get you to sign up for some long term contract, nor does he give false hope. He listens, tells you what he can and can't do, and goes from there. I leave that office pain free and with a full range of motion in my neck. He can crack every area of my neck and with ease, consistently. I know adjustments in themselves are only for temporary relief/maintenance... but most chiropractors couldn't even crack my neck once. I had an absolutely amazing visit! I have recently been having some pain and tension in my back but have always been afraid of going to chiropractors. One, I was always a little nervous that it might make my back worse or paralyze me (yes, I know that sounds crazy) and two, I had heard lots of stories of chiropractors that tell people they need all kinds of work done for lots of money. Well, the pain had really started bothering me so I saw a Groupon for this office and bought it. Dr. Swart was awesome. He made me feel comfortable and eased my fears. He also did not try and tell me about a bunch of work I needed and was really upfront and honest about their approach and how much certain visits are. I sprained my ankle playing basketball. Being Chinese, I went to see a Chinese doctor who put some medicine on it to alleviate my swollen softball size ankle. However, it was still painful to walk. While recovering from my sprained ankle, I hurt my lower back so I started searching for a chiropractor. My friend recommended me to Dr. Swart because he found a groupon for three adjustments for a very good price. So I bought it and schedule my appointments. I had reschedule my first appointment three times; I felt bad, because two of those times I had to reschedule two hours before my appointment time. But Olivia and Dr. Swart helped me reschedule without any issues. VERY PROFESSIONAL. Finally, I went in for my first visit and Dr. Swart sat down with me and went over my chart thoroughly. Dr. Swart told me that I should rest for a period of 3 months for my ankle to completely heal before I go back to play basketball. We went over a few more issues, gave me recommendations regarding my posture, stretching, and exercise. Then he proceeded with what his staff, equipment, and staff can help me with. But he wasn't pushy, he even told me don't make a decision right now and go home and research and think about it, and we can talk about it on the third visit. It was time for adjustments. He noticed that my right leg was shorter due to my hips or lower back (I forgot what he said). First, I had my lower back adjusted, followed by my neck, and lastly my mid back. After Dr. Swart finished, he told me that my back was OUT OF WHACK. I was speechless. Then it was time for my massage therapy. David is the best! Very friendly, very talkative, very professional. This is not your regular massage, David is there to get rid of your knots and man did he do a good job. Right after he was done, I felt really good. Sadly, the groupon was only for 30 minutes massage therapy. I visited Dr. Swart for a total of 3 times. After my second visit, my lower back was pain free. Before visiting Dr. Swart, I would crack my neck and my lower back a lot because they felt uncomfortable, but after getting my adjustments from Dr. Swart there was no need for me to go back to that old habit. He asked questions and actually listened to my responses and what my issues were. My adjustments were top notch all three sessions. Lulu gave me a massage after two of my sessions and the tension that she helped me release has been indescribable. I felt so much lighter and less stress in my shoulders and upper back area. Dr. Swart is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. Prior to seeing him, I had been going to physical therapy twice a week for over 6 years for a shoulder issue. I have several bulging discs and a tear, and let me tell you that for 28 years old, I consider this to be BS of the highest caliber. So after two years of chronic back pain, I've decided enough was enough. Originally I had a Groupon to see Dr. Swart, which he totally honored (which of course why wouldn't he, but still). It seemed too good to be true so we were unsure about the quality he'd receive or the experience Dr Swart had. We were pleasantly surprised, Dr Swart is very knowledgeable, very personable. He's not a pushy salesman , he makes you wanna come back and I continued to go after my groupon expired. As for the adjustments themselves they're perfect. I originally went because i was desperate for relief from my migraines, i had tried, meds, acupuncture, and decided to try a chiropractor. I always had discomfort in my shoulders and neck so i suspected that those issues were possibly responsible for the migraines. I was right.
