Dr Salse is one of the best. He is very thorough and spends his time researching your issues and explaining whats going on with your body. I came in with 2 areas in terrible pain due to degenerative disc disease in the neck and my lower back. I was barely able to walk upright and i was also feeling numbness in my arms being barely able to grip with my left arm due to the neck pain. You can tell when he feels along ur back hes quickly able to identify trouble areas and using various techniques relieve so much tension, pressure and pain from the area. He was able to fix me right up in as little as 2 months. Major relief was noticeable in 1-2 sessions. I knew i had found the right person to help me with my issues. Now im able hit the gym again without issues. His 2 staff members super friendly and super helpful as well. He has a nice waiting room with snacks and drinks while you wait. Just to add, prior to visiting Dr Salse, I had visited my general doctor at healthcare partners, and all that Dr did was give me a piece of paper with stretching exercises to do (As of i hadn't tried those stretched already to relieve my pain)and offer pain meds. I should have written this review a very long time ago. I'm not someone who writes reviews but I felt the need to leave this warning for people before they decide to see him. Salse is someone who prioritizes being a business man before a doctor. During the first visits, he tries his best to gain your trust by being really nice and guaranteeing he can cure your problem. Once he gains your trust after some visits, he will upsell a bunch of unnecessary treatments and you are told if you don't sign up for them then you won't heal. There is also no clear breakdown of what each add on costs, just an outrageous total amount. He also will do the bare minimum every visit so you have to go multiple times thus making him more money. He said he would show some at home stretches/exercises but never taught any. I'm sure he was thinking of teaching them by like the 10th visit or something. My previous chiropractor always spent an hour of treatment with me and during the first appointment he told me a bunch of self stretches and exercises in order to heal. Salse only spends less than 10 minutes for the treatment. For the first appointment, he did not do any treatments when all my previous providers have. I talked to a chiropractor about the situation and surprisingly he said he has a good amount of patients that went to him after a bad experience with Salse. Even patients who went through his expensive program but felt no improvement. He even pointed out what was wrong with some of his techniques. The reason why he does not have many bad reviews is because they send out an email with links to leave reviews. The good ones will go public and the bad ones are under "let us know how we can improve" something like that and only they will see it. I should have seen all the advertisements as overboard and a way of overcompensating for something. I never left feeling any better. I regret going to him so I'm leaving this review hoping people will not make the same mistake I made. read more

I just noticed that my previous review is not visible here on Yelp. I wrote one during the pandemic after visiting Dr. Salse. I first went to him after feeling like I had been in a car wreck (terrible pain in my upper back and neck especially). He fixed my neck and back after one visit. I continued to go for maintenance and my back and neck stayed in alignment and pain free for the longest time. Another time, my shoulders hurt really bad (could not do military press at gym for about 8 months). I made the drive to Dr. Salse and he fixed my shoulder pain by adjusting my neck/upper back in one session) and could finally work out without pain again. I have been to at least 20 different chiropractors to date (due to a car wreck and not being close enough to go to Dr Salse) between Los Angeles/Inland Empire/ and Texas. I can say without a doubt that Dr. Salse is the absolute best chiropractor that I have ever been to. I always leave his office feeling taller and standing perfectly straight. Any pain dissipates within 24 hours if not immediately (if I had pain at the time of the appointment). He is the only chiropractor that I have been to who takes the time to really find out what is causing the issue, educates his patients on what is going on and adjusts my back into total alignment (not just upper or lower as many other chiropractors have). If you are looking for the best chiropractor to go to, it's Dr Salse. He is a caring, professional, and very skilled doctor. His staff is also super nice, professional, and courteous. On Tuesday I woke up with sharp - shooting pain from my left glute, down through my thigh and was extremely worried as I had not felt this pain in nearly seven years. I'm extremely active and enjoy running, and working out 5-6 days a week, so this pain was extremely worrisome. Rather than seeing my regular doctor, I reached out to Salse Chiropractic on Thursday as the pain was getting progressively worse, and thankfully they were able to see me the same day. I was quite impressed with the level of service provided from the moment I walked in. The staff was kind, attentive, and really made me feel like they cared. Dr. Salse performed a thorough review of my situation and recommended therapy and adjustments the same day, as well as a follow up appointment the very next day for more therapy. We also went over stretches I could do on my own at home. To my surprise, the pain was incredibly reduced when I woke up Friday morning. At my appointment on Friday, Dr. Salse checked my back and neck, and confirmed that much of what was feeling out of place or tight the prior day was now gone. Rather than continue the scheduled treatment and taking my payment, Dr. Salse recommended no treatment and took no payment. Instead he advised that I continue with stretching, icing, and taking it easy to allow my body to heal. My family has been seeing Dr. Salse since we moved to Monrovia 8 years ago. We have continued to be impressed with not only his knowledge and treatments but his kindness and warmth as well. I sustained an ankle injury at the start of the year which Kaiser did not correctly diagnose or x-ray. Dr. Salse urged me to go back to Kaiser and request an MRI. Well low and behold they found that I had a torn ligament as well as an interior and exterior sprain which still showed up 7 months later. I was so thankful he pushed me to follow up with my physician! Dr. Salse sees my entire family including our 11 year old daughter who played on the USA Jr. Olympic Rosebowl Water Polo Team and has games year round on the team. She is in a tough sport and utilizes adjustments to stay healthy. Dr. Salse also sees my mother-in-law who is dealing with osteoporosis. Dr. Salse is THE most honest doctor I have ever had the pleasure of crossing paths with. He will not bs you and offer you a miracle solution; for most of us you will have to put in the work to make a long term positive impact in your treatment and he will hold you to it. His goal is to get you better long term so you no longer require his services to sustain your treatment. My experiences here is a testament to this: I dealt with chronic back and neck pain for 20+ years and came to him during a time of desperation at the peak of covid. I have a lower back injury that causes constant dull pain and random sharp pains whenever I have bad form. I've gone to a chiropractor before who tried to help, but after about 2 months, I stopped going to him for treatment. I've gone to Dr. Salse for several adjustments already and I love it!
