Then, I had to waste more time using customer service chat - 3 different times until someone told me that there are supposedly delays b/c of a new warehouse (that was 2 days ago and still nothing). First in store experience and Aaron the store manager made my visit above and beyond my expectations . I had an exchange from a purchase I made online. He made sure the fit was perfect for my husband. He didn't have much inventory in his size so he brought out everything from the back room and helped me navigate the online store to purchase the items we liked. I've worked retail For many years and have come to expect average customer service . Not with Aaron! Give him a raise. I hope you appreciate your mgr because he is fantastic ! I've seen the Facebooks advertisements and now I got the real deal. The store is pretty unique with one style of each shirt and then you tell the salesperson what size and then it's brought to you. If you buy, they offer a nice drink and your parking ticket gets discounted. read more

I had never been in this store before so I decided to drop in after work. I asked a lot of questions, but Anthony and Andrew were awesome. They were happy to answer all 101 questions I had. I returned another day to purchase some button downs for my husband and I. A woman with a Polish accent volunteered to help us. She was very aggressive with my husband and we both felt uncomfortable with her tone of voice and the way she pulled/tugged his shirt during a fitting. Unique clothing retailer with a large online presence. Only wish there were more than two brick and mortar stores, but glad there is one in Chicago. If you live in the area, I strongly suggest you visit this store to try on the different sizes since they run small. I'm kind of between an L and XL, but actually had to buy a XXL due to their unique tailoring. Bought 3 shirts in mid February and picked Large (regular fit). Took them home, had them laundered before wearing and put them on. I should have selected the Large "slim" because the Large Regular had a little too much room in the stomach area. That is the first time I've ever had too much room in the belly area. Contacted Untuckit and explained my issue and they responded quickly. Kyle called me and gave me the instructions to return my shirts and then he made sure the replacement shirts were in stock. He sent me a return label and I was able to return the shirts. VERY profession customer service delivered by Kyle and good systems designed by the Untuckit people. I have been a faithful Untuckit customer since inline was the only way to purchase their product. literally every shirt I own is from Untucket. After the VERY rude interaction today with the female working on January 5th 2022, at the Magnificent Mile location, I will never purchase anything from Untucket as long as I live. I walked in and made a purchase decision within 60 seconds and was just trying to hand her my credit card. My mask was fully on my face and covering my mouth and nose. However she kept criticizing my mask and Wouldn't stop. I gave up trying to purchase the item and left in disgust. If I was her manage, I would have fired her on the spot for her bad manners and disrespectful tone of voice. read more

Was my First time going to the store just yesterday, and although I didn't purchase anything on my brief visit. I was extremely impressed by the staff and employee Elias. Excellent customer service/store. So glad they have a retail outlet downtown! Beautiful store. Some really cool new products! The merchandise is pricey, but you probably know that going in, so certainly can't complain about that. The sales associate, Aamina, was spectacular!!! Very kind, knowledgeable. One of the shirts I wanted was out of stock in the store as well as online. She was kind enough to call the Oakbrook store to see if they had one. Luckily they did and are shipping it to my home. Plus, I was flattered that she thought I could wear the slim as opposed to regular! Could not be more pleased! As mentioned, the apparel is expensive, but good quality. Walked in with my buddy to shop for his dad on Father's Day weekend. At first I noticed it was very busy and all the staff were occupied with other customers. Took my husband in here to find some new shirts with a good fit that look stylish wearing untucked and this fit the bill. Joey (assistant mgr) was awesome, helping us to get the right fit. We left with several shirts, two pairs of pants and a pair of shorts. Love that I can order online since there isn't a store in our home state. I bought a shirt at Untuckit several months ago and wore it once. I had it dry cleaned and it got really faded and pilled. I brought it into the store yesterday and the employee explained that dry cleaning is not the recommended method to clean the shirts--that they should just be washed in gentle cold. He said they are double washed already. He then went to the back and brought me a brand new shirt. Great customer service! I would definitely buy from them again. read more

Wanted to try my size on, which was fine with them and they have changing rooms. Changing rooms have grommet-hung drapes that you need two hands to close. Was given the wrong size -- twice! Sales person wasn't paying any attention to my requests and needs. And went on to "help" someone else while I was in the changing room even though there were several clerks with no customers just picking their noses. Check out: they of course want ALL your information to get you on their lists and all I really wanted to do was give them my credit card and go. And I had already purchased on line but they could not find that info. But NO. iPad-based checkout was slow and there was no paper receipt option so I had to spell out my e-mail address. The shirts are great, no doubt about it. But, from the moment I walked in the employees appeared pretentious and arrogant. It was my first time in the store so naturally I wanted to try on the shirt before I make a $100 purchase. The associate gave me a shirt to try on, and when I asked for a different size, he seemed insulted that I would even ask that. I found a shirt that I liked and wanted to buy it. The entire concept of Untuckit, is "find a size that fits you, and all shirts will fit the exact same." So the sales associate goes to the back to find the size I tried on. He wraps it up nicely and I depart. Once I get back home and about to wear my new shirt I realize the employee gave me the wrong size! the entire business is built upon and they can't even give me the size I ask for?!?! At this point I am back in Milwaukee. I call the store and tell them they gave me the wrong size, and they say, there isn't much we can do. They tell me I can ship the shirt back to Chicago, and once they have received the shirt, first then will they send me this shirt I initially asked for. I said no because who wants to wait 3 weeks before getting the shirt I asked for?! Ridiculous they do not have better customer service! read more

I decided to try UNTUCKit and ordered a shirt. I always wear a large 'trim' shirt from Dillards, etc. However, the shirt is too small for me to wear so I'll give it to my son who wears a medium. Be careful when ordering. read more

The product is excellent - but the service was outrageously pretentious. Don't let my review put you off buying one of the shirts, they are great. Its the type of place you would keep buying from. The problem is, the concept means they expect your to not try on the shirt you want to buy. It seems to me they think this adds value to the concept. In my opinion the design concept is strong enough, and this approach actually damages the brand. Maybe its just me, but I live in the UK ,and there is no way im going to buy $100 shirts in Chicago without trying them on first! Having said that, just because I wouldn't, does not mean others feel the same. However, being told by the employee that i was 'tedious' for asking to try on the actual shirt before i buy, was totally unacceptable. Whether he meant to not, it made him come across like a snob and that is the way he is representing the brand. If one of my employees referred to a customer as 'tedious' for wanting to be sure about a product they were purchasing, they would not continue working for me. Had i not really really liked the shirts i would have walked out. In fact, i had to walk away before I responded, and left my wife to do the talking! I was very angry! In the end I purchased two excellent shirts. I will likely buy more online. But if i do, it will be with a tinge of resentment due to the 'tedious' comment. I'm sure this is not how everyone in the organisation is, however if the experience was friendly and not snobby, it would probably have been one of may favourite stores in the world! Shame he used that word, i can hardly think of a word more likely to irritate someone who wants to spend money with you!!!
