We've visited this indoor play area four times, hoping for fun, but every single visit resulted in my child getting sick shortly afterward (respiratory virus) We specifically tried different times - once first thing in the morning and once near closing time- expecting better cleanliness, but the result was the same each time. This consistent pattern strongly points to the play equipment itself not being properly sanitized. While the setup seems fun, the lack of visible cleaning/sanitization protocols for the toys, slides, climbing structures, etc., is a major health concern. It's unacceptable that visiting at opening didn't prevent illness, suggesting deep cleaning isn't happening overnight. We won't be returning due to this recurring health risk. Management urgently needs to implement and enforce rigorous, frequent sanitization of ALL play surfaces. read more

My son and I visited a few months ago for the first time. There were mostly birthday parties there. Every time there was a birthday announcement, the play areas cleared quickly. There is a classic soft play area, but our favorite part was the little town. There was a school, coffee shop, diner, market, fire station, veterinarian, ballet studio, movie theatre and more. They had a treehouse and a castle as well as well as a pirates ship. It's really cool they have a fish tank in the vet area and they play a real movie in the movie theatre. Areas for improvement: more cubbies and hooks. We had to use a bench 6because there were no more cubbies. The price was around $15-16 and was good for all day play. There is also a DQ in the plaza for a sweet treat afterwards. While Montclair is a bit of a drive, this play place is unique and worth it to visit again. read more

My daughter absolutely loved this place! It was really affordable and it was a great way for her to get her energy out. The place was clean and organized. I do however wish they have some sort of season pass or like buy multiple visits for a discount or something because I would Love to bring her back often if they had something like that. They also have a separate toddlers area which was nice since some of the bigger kids can sometimes trample the younger ones. My only real dislike of our visit was the fact like 3 older ish kids were taking ALL the toys and groceries from the stores and areas and taking them all for themselves and going up into the tree type house, But that's more of the parents shouldn't be letting there kids do that but otherwise we had a good time! read more

If I could leave this place zero stars I would. The management is highly prejudice and they discriminate against people of color. I used to enjoy bringing my kiddos here for the day passes, however, I made the mistake of booking my child's party here. They have zero pricing transparency and like to make up policies and pricing as they go. When the girl at the front desk charged my card after my party, she charged me over $30 more and stated "I dont know what the fee is for", so she called the manager to explain the fee. However instead, the manager, Shelley, attempted to kick my party out of the venue as we were wrapping up. There was not one other person patronizing this business besides us, however, we were told it was time to go. They do not have anything contracts or price sheets when booking an event so it is all your word versus theirs when an issue arises and they say one thing and charge another .. Guests at my party also had to notify to the staff that the kids costumes for "dramatic play" were stained and unclean and the staff was dismissive. Very unsanitary and a lack of customer service. This is the most creative place I have ever seen for kids . The combination of customer service, variety of activities in the interaction for kids to use their imagination as well as practice some physical activity is amazing. Rebecca and her staff are absolutely top notch in the feeling you get when you're there it's like coming to a neighborhood that you've been living in for a while where everybody knows your name and everybody welcomes you into the crowd. So my wife booked this place for my son's 5th birthday party. Little did we know how much of a hidden gem it is. The kids absolutely went berserk! So much to do and use their imagination. But best part about it was the establishment's employees. They were over the top with accommodating every change we threw at them without hesitation. They decorated for the party, served the kids, and helped us pack-up when it was over. Then someone I believe was one of the owners sat and held a nice long conversation with my son (a five year old). I believe he was negotiating his next party. They took a lot of the worry out of planning for a kid's birthday party and their patience was unparalleled. I don't give out 5-star reviews for sport, they earned it and my business in the future. We discovered this gem and few months ago and they loved it so much we decided to book a birthday party. I can't recommend borthday parties here highly enough. We had a 30 minute overlap with another party (which they warned me might happen) but the kids had an absolute blast. I was so impressed at how easy it was. I dropped off decorations the week before and they too care of EVERYTHING ! What a wonderful little play place near Woodbridge! My daughter and her cousin had such a fun time exploring the little town which included a fire station, veterinarian, ballet studio, corner market, movie theatre and school house. Additionally there were several tree houses, a castle complete with a dragon and thrones, toddler soft tot area, and a play structure similar to what you would see at Chuck E Cheese. I appreciated all of the little details such as a real live fish tank at the vet and the movie theatre playing the Incredibles 2 inside. Throughout our time there, I saw the workers constantly picking up toys, vacuuming and making sure that everything was very tidy. $15 to get in was a great price (and includes two parents!) and the fact that you are even able to come later in the day was really cool. A few suggestions for a full five star experience: hooks in the bathroom (I felt kind of gross setting my bag on the floor), hooks for coats and more cubbies, new paint (a lot of it was peeling off the walls -- including in the party room), and a refresh on toys, stuffed animals, and costumes. You could see him come into the play area picking up toys and cleaning while you were chasing your child around the establishment. There's someone new now and while I understand they are still learning, there are just some things that are a given. The place was completely empty early this afternoon but it looks like no one cleaned up. It was my child saying "who made all this mess?!" and putting away the toys herself that made me think of him. What truly was disappointing was finding 7 dead flies on the extremely dusty window ledge by the toddler play area (that was pointed out by my bug fearing kid). Tried to bring my children here today for free play. There is an open sign up and a note stating to go to the dance studio to be let in. Waited in the dance studio lobby for someone to come to the front desk for over 30 minutes. Someone finally came up but was too busy on the phone to acknowledge me. Find another place for birthday parties. They reuse table clothes and whatever they can. I paid extra for the balloons and decoration that was used before. The plastic table cloth had some holes and yellow dry icing. The pizza was not cooked well. We basically all ate pizza dough with cheese on top. When I complained the manager dis not even say sorry she said "well we can give you chicken nuggets but I will be a small portion" as if it was my fault their pizza was not cooked. They did ended up giving us more chicken nuggets but still the food is not good. They do not let you bring your own food which I understood so I order fruit salad and the fruit was old specially the watermelon. It is not fresh. Veggie tray had barely any hummus. They did not finish decorating at the time that I rented the place but they were sure quick to let me know when I had to get out. Yesterday I took my 3 year old granddaughter for the first time. She loved it overall and found it engaging for well over an hour. I did find it quite ironic, however, that the subtitle is "Unplug and Play" as there was a "movie theater" with an ongoing showing of Jungle Book. It took threats of leaving to get her away from the screen and back to the rest of the amusements. Why would you include a screen when most children are inundated with screens throughout every day as babysitters???? My kids go to preschool here and it's the greatest. The owners are wonderful people who bend over backwards to make sure everyone's experience is outstanding. The teachers are beyond words. We attended a birthday party here recently and now we're looking forward to coming back for playtime this winter. It's the perfect indoor playspace! One thing I really appreciated as a parent was being able to maintain the line of sight with my kiddos. The play area is open and it's easy to see which direction your kids are headed without following them around the entire time. Everything was clean and well-maintained which can be a huge issue when visiting similar places. As far as the birthday party experience goes, the party room was spacious and clean, and the party host was helpful and sweet. This is one of many indoor play parks in the immediate area. The park is a 'socks only' zone and ownership/management really see that through. The play areas were clean and well stocked with toys. The park itself is on the smaller side in comparison with the market, but it does offer unique themed zones, which I understand the owner made himself. For example, there is a dance studio, school, movie theater, pet grooming salon, and firehouse. Each of the zones were built without roofs, so they're adult friendly. There's a cafe located inside in case you need a pit stop, and they also welcome you to leave the park and return at your leisure (within the same day) without having to re-purchase entry passes. My daughter is 3.5 y/o and had a good time, but I would say she would be outgrown for most of the play items here by next year. The reason I say this is, the costumed for the themed zones were small on her, the slide beside the firehouse was tight for her, and she pretty big for the movie theater benches. All this being said, I will not be returning due to price vs value. I find this play park to be on the small side in comparison to alternative market options, more expensive than all other market options, and too far from major thoroughfares (IE: I95/Rt1.) The daily pass was $15, which would be fine if we were the type to leave and come back, but it was too expensive when I knew my visit would be less than two hours. I was offered a multi visit pass for $2?? or $425 within the first minute I walked in the front lobby, and before I saw the play park, and that immediately changed my perception of the business. I understand the owner put a lot of hard labor and love into this play park, and I think they did a fabulous job. I truly wish them the best with their business, despite it not being a fit for my family. The owners and staff were very much involved with every aspect of our daughter's Birthday party. Their customer service is excellent. The owners were very responsive when I had inquired about booking our party and always followed up with us up until the day of the party. My daughter chose a Vamparina themed birthday party and the owners and their staff did a great job setting up the party room, from the balloons, to the table decorations, appetizers, food and drinks! The owners and their staff were all very engaged and so friendly. The best part was the indoor playground and the different themed play stations and areas. The kids had a blasts! This play gym had the potential to be a great time. My daughter enjoyed playing here for her friends party. Unfortunately the staff made it incredibly difficult and there were lots of hidden fees associated with the birthday party. We were not allowed to have water and told to go use the water fountain or buy a bottle from the cafe. Unfortunately this was not the case for everyone and many people had their own water bottles. We definitely felt rushed out unless the party family was willing to pay more money. I have three kids and been to many indoor play yards. This one was disappointing to say the least.
