Burrito with cauliflower and burrito with chicken
    Hannah S.

I had been excited to try this place & I am sad to say it did not live up to expectations. The burritos we ordered were $16 each, extremely small to the extent that I left still hungry, and were neither very flavorful nor fresh-tasting. The hot sauce saved the meal. The two people working were extraordinarily nice and the service was fast. I recommend anyone looking to try this place plan to spend a good bit of money and order a lot of different menu items to ensure you're full.

5/5 for my drink alone! All of the flavors paired really well together and I was able to enjoy the presentation. Service was quite speedy, we were seated without a reservation and provided with a menu quickly. I'd love to sit outside when it's less humid and enjoy the patio. Food looked amazing too, and their items are reasonably priced.

OVERALL: best tacos and drinks in the DMV! FOOD: authentic flavors, delicious, filling. Thin, homemade tortillas Tacos - Octopus: light, great sauce - Cactus: my favorite! Incredible flavor and comes with grilled onion - Al pastor: a classic and so well done Queso fundido - can be made less spicy and vegetarian by excluding the chorizo but I love it with it. Comes with a side of tortillas and two sauces. The red is mild, the green is tangy with more of a kick Chips and salsa - comes complementary. Small portion which is great as an app Drinks - Pina Colada: a classic and comes in a pineapple so it's $17 and is approximately 1.5 drinks - frozen margarita: cant remember what it was but it was pink and fruity. Would recommend SERVICE: great bilingual staff that was super attentive and gave great recommendations VENUE: two stories and an outdoor patio upstairs. I saw a sign that there was a huge backyard as well.

A restaurant that will get the job done at reasonable prices but nothing special. I recently went here for a weekend lunch with a friend and we were immediately seated. Our service was solid and we got to sit outside on a nice day. Uno Mas is reasonably priced with good portion sizes. Your first order of chips and salsa is complementary with an appetizer or entree person, and I enjoyed both. The chips were fresh and not overly salted, and the salsa had good heat. I got the chicken fajitas for my entree and they were fine. The chicken could have had a bit more flavor and was slightly overcooked, but otherwise these were OK fajitas. My friend and I got the churros for dessert. While the chocolate dipping sauce was delicious, the churros appeared undercooked in the middle with some raw dough.

I visited Uno Mas on a Wednesday afternoon around 6pm. To my pleasant surprised u was able to find ample street parking on the next block. This little place is such a hidden gem! On busy Florida Ave, you really can pass it by without noticing but it's such a vibe. The food is AMAZING, the drinks are really good but lack strength. I had the fajita mixta and we also tried the birria tacos. Chips and guac for an appetizer. 100% enjoyed every bite! We sat on the upstairs deck, we were mauled by mosquitoes but our food made up for it. I will be back. My server was also a doll!

This was a good restaurant. Their chips and salads was really good. The salsa had good flavor with a kick. I put it on my tacos too. The Al pastor and bistec tacos could've had more flavor and could've been more juicy. Their corn tortillas are good and they have a nice lil crips to it that I like. Employees are friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is nice.

The food was 10/10. I got the chicken enchiladas they were super flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The calamari was very crispy and had a great flavor. My friend said her mixed fajita was good. They have the best shrimp tacos as well. The restaurant was really pretty and has great music.

I visited this place mid afternoon just after their brunch rush. The vibes were good, not too crowded and nice music. The service staff checked in on our table very frequently and made sure we were taken care of. The chips and salsa come complimentary eith an order of table-side made guacamole, which had the perfect balance of lime to pepper ratio. I tried the Beef, shrimp, and al pastor tacos and they were all really juicy- but would recommend the shrimp and al pastor a bit more. Definitely recommend trying the coffee here - it's sweet and cinnamon-y and I was pleasantly surprised!!

The best part about this restaurant is that they will make the guacamole fresh right in front of you! The drinks pictured are the frozen guava margarita and the frozen pineapple margarita. So good! I also ordered the nachos without jalapeños, but they were still a little spicy for me.

This by far worst fried chicken I ever had in my life, they litteraly taste like they took them out of Tyson's bag and jus threw them in the fryer for 10 mins, no flavor at all , then it's like they didn't even bothered to let the grease get off the fried chicken which made it soggy and with the sauce even more soggy ..again litteraly taste like they took some Tyson wings out a bag and just fried them

    Rossemary A.

Food: we ordered wings, tostadas de Tinga and enchiladas suiza. Everything was disappointing except the tostadas. The tostadas taste like something you can make it at home so it was unsatisfying. Service: the service was great. We were easily seated and checked up on. The guy was extremely nice so I didn't want to bring up my concerns or dissatisfaction with the food. Ambiance: the music was good but there was some weird drunk man singing/humming loudly and it ruined the experience. I probably wouldn't ever go back here. It's just not worth it.

Went there during their opening day and I can't wait to be back. Really cute spot very well decorated and all staff was very friendly and ready to be of help. I had their tacos yucatecos and their tacos campechanos. Loved them! In addition we were given cochinita pibil sliders and their sangria to sample, I was really impressed by their sangria. Wishing them much success moving forward.

Dinner at San Matteo, yes please and thank you!…read more Good food and service was memorable adding San Matteo to the list of favorites. The front patio is cute and a nice spot to sit on a nice day. We entered the restaurant, pasted the bar and made our way to the back. We were pleasantly surprised with a nice outdoor feeling to dine at. We were immediately greeted by our waiter, given water and warm bread with olive oil. To kick off our meal everyone had different ideas of what they were craving so we went with three starters. PROSCIUTTO E MOZZARELLA for one. It that had the usual meat and cheese board with nuts, mini bread crackers and jam. I liked how pistachio pieces were found in the meats and cheese. [5/5] BEEF CARPACCIO which is a family favorite of ours was a must try. The tender slices of beef with arugula, with sliced capers and celery. It reminded us of our trips to Italy. [5/5] FRITTO MISTO came next. This mixed lite battered bowl of seafood goodness with a little spice delight. It had calamari, fish, shrimp, garlic, zucchini and chilies. I really liked how the batter was lite which says a lot because I love really crispy anything. [ 5/5] On to the main courses, we proceeded with different pasta noodle dishes. BUCATINI BOLOGNESE one of my favorite pasta noodles was my selection. The noodles were al dente and the sauce and meat were excellent. [5/5] PAPPARDELLE CINGHIALE was my husband's pick. The pappardelle noodles were al dente and nicely accompanied the meat with the tasty sauce. Topped with ricotta; the dish was full of flavor. [5/5] CHICKEN ALFREDO was the last pick. Not an authentic Italian dish; however, hats off to the chef for making this for our picky eater in the family. The sauce was creamy and delicious. Noodles were cooked perfectly. [5/5] Surprisingly we had just enough room for a sweet ending - an Affogato. Whoaza! The espresso was yummy; put some hair on our picky eater's chest. It had a hint of licorice flavor that was unique. Let's not forget the San Matteo Spritz. Smoky and highly enjoyable. I loved it and will order again when I return. Overall, San Matteo hit all the check boxes for our lovely family dinner. The staff were attentive and never left us wanting more water, food or waiting long. The food was tasty. It seems upscale with a casual feel. Some people were dressed for date night while others were having a casual meal with family or friends. The seating options of areas were all unique in its own way. Front patio for a nice day, from the front indoor dining area for maybe a more intimate feel, bar and table top area for a drink and appetizer going solo or with a friend; and lastly the back dining area for a a bigger group to enjoy your meal. Mixing up the dining options that suits you. I'll be back to try other dishes.

The bread is excellent though, and helped to balance out those strong flavors.
