I will be telling every single person I know to never go here ever they steal your money they give you faulty products and they treat you like absolute crap. Wow, just wow is all I have to say about this horrible horrible entity. my husband is 64 years old and they refused to let them tan because the information in their system was faulty and we had paid for a full month of tanning and we were only halfway through the month. I've heard people complain of long waits but that's expected when there's limited beds that have to be cleaned in between uses. I've never waited more than 15 minutes for a service. On my first visit, the manager sold me products I didn't actually need -- I was nervous and didn't know better, so I went along with it. When I tried to return them and get the product I actually needed, the manager was never in. By the time I finally caught her, it was too late to return anything. I also was never told I could be using a Level 5 bed when I signed up -- I'd been put in a Level 4 the whole time, even though there's almost a $40 price difference between the two. Once I found out, I asked to downgrade my membership for the following month. But now this month, I can't use the Level 5 bed at all. So I paid $104 for July and can't even use what I'm paying for. On top of that, almost everyone on staff has been unhelpful and unpleasant. The one exception is Grace, who's been genuinely kind and helpful every time. My advice: do your research before signing up here, or just go somewhere else.

Recently I went back to LaYa. in Joliet and was told I had a balance of well over $200. I was not paying that amount and went on my way to my regular tanning place Unlimited Tan. Shortly after my visit to La Tan I received an email stating I was "missed," and the balance would be waived. I continued to receive emails from La Tan one which was customer appreciation on April 24 and ,25, 2026. Perfect opportunity to try out La Tan once again. I arrived and was once again told I had a balance. It appears in order for my balance to be waived, I needed to use a COUPON which had expired 3/31/2026. I guess I was not really missed.

The first week was a male employee-very nice and helpful. The next week she went in for her bogo deal after she'd already paid the week before. The female employee demanded she pay even though my daughter explained the situation. She would not listen and was incredibly rude and made her pay. When I called about it, she said she'd call her manager. When I spoke with the manager she said she was just "firm" with her and defended the employee. She did see the mistake and offered a refund. She would not do it over the phone and said we'd need to come back to collect cash for the mistake. This was an inconvenience to drive 15 min there and then back home, so I asked for a refund back for the deal (which would've been a whopping $15. She acted appalled that I'd ask for that for the rudeness and inconvenience of driving back. Then the MANAGER hung up on me. The adult employee shouldn't have been rude to a 16 year old, and a manager should have remedied the situation. Instead, she was equally rude.
