This place is a scam! The wait times are ridiculous. They're operating system behind the counter is completely ridiculous and they're unable to process or give you any gift cards. The staff at Mokena are the most rude (one in particular) I've ever met. They won't give a refund, even if the people behind the counter mistreat you. Their "corporate" called to try and rectify what happened and told me I was right, but still wouldn't give me a refund when in the history have you ever heard such nonsense? I will be telling every single person I know to never go here ever they steal your money they give you faulty products and they treat you like absolute crap. Wow, just wow is all I have to say about this horrible horrible entity. my husband is 64 years old and they refused to let them tan because the information in their system was faulty and we had paid for a full month of tanning and we were only halfway through the month. To be honest I was going to give it one star after my last visit the guy working was not helpful at all didn't take the time to explain anything to me or tell me what was available with the spray tan luckily with the help of You Tube and Tick Tock I had done some research on the system so I at least a some idea. I have been going to this tanning salon for years. I have been a loyal customer and have enjoyed coming here until the price nearly doubled. I prefer stand ups rather than tanning beds due to having claustrophobia. I was going to start tanning again, but chose to not continue with this establishment due to the unacceptable price increase (I am not sure if there were any deals for new customers, but if there were, they were not passed along to loyal customers). Throughout the years, the staff has not always been friendly or helpful, except for one or two ladies working there. In addition, when I would call to ask a question most of the time no one would answer. It became frustrating because there were times I had to drive to the salon to get needed information they could've given over the phone. Can't say enough about Holly who works the front desk at Unlimited Tan in Mokena. She is so knowledgeable and really takes her time with all the customers. This place has gone down hill. I went to get in a tanning bed and literally slid right into it on someone elses tanning lotion , scum and sweat. Lotion was all over the insides of the bed and nothing was cleaned. The manager was nice about it, however, just since the spring when I started tanning again I have had 3 major illnesses causing me to be in the ER twice. All 3 illnesses I caught were ones that breed in unkempt tanning beds. My immune system is usually pretty great but I have caught 3 things in an 8 month span and I would say its probably from these nasty beds. I was offered free tanning for a month due to my troubles here and still didn't accept the offer. I am beyond grossed out and will probably never tan again. Not to mention that Im now stuck with hospital and doctor bills from this nonsense. Its sad because it seems that some of the staff really care about the job while one or two just do not at all. I hope they lose the dead weight here and learn to clean better. read more

Out of all the tanning beds I've tried in the suburbs and in the city, this one is by far one of the best in overall quality of the beds, cleanliness, and in customer service. All of the beds are ridiculously well maintained and very up to date. I'm waiting for my membership to end at my old place to join here because it's like a whole different world! read more

Unlimited Tan in mokena has the best staff around! They are very friendly and always make you feel welcome! The whole salon is clean. Beds are always spotless! Prices are just right! I recently came in the salon at 9:50, not knowing they closed at 10, and I said I was sorry that I would just come back tomorrow and they girl behind the counter, Katie, said it was no problem that I could still tan. She was very friendly about it all and still gave that welcome feeling, like I wasn't keeping her there. That is just one example of how great their customer service is there! The people are great, the beds are clean and updated and the programs they offer are reasonable. Locations are convenient, and although this is my "home" location I have used the others in Plainfield, Lockport, and Romeoville. All staff have been friendly and accomodating. Was able to suspend my acct during my recent surgery/recovery period. As a Latina not needing this for my base tan, I was happy to find something nice to fill in the void that mother nature played on us the past couple of years.
