This place is fantastic. I had a horrific experience getting my hair dyed and trimmed about two weeks ago at another facility and an associate highly recommended Malibu Hut's hair stylist Meghan. I phoned and asked to speak with Meghan and unfortunately she had left for the day. I left a message with a lady and received a call back the next morning. I explained what had taken place, and she recommended that I come in person so she can see what had happened and suggest corrective measures. I went in immediately. Meghan was washing out a color job at the time of my arrival, but five minutes later she was able to look at my hair. I took her suggestion and only waited another 15 minutes to get started. The results of Meghan's work was phenomenal, and I became emotional due to the results. I also got my eyebrows waxed. I was so pleased with my experience I set up an appointment for the next day for a custom spray tan. The spray tan result was just as great as the results of my hair. I cannot believe the prices. This small boutique has beat every other experience I have ever had in my nine years living in Indiana (Chicago Girl). It's a little bit of a drive from my home in Dyer, but indeed worth the trip! read more

I have been to so many different tanning salons in the area, and nothing compares to Malibu Hut! I absolutely love this place, it has such a great atmosphere and I feel comfortable. The clients and the workers are all super friendly and nice as well! I've been tanning here for 2+ years and I'm always in love with the color I get in just a matter of a few days too. Unlike other salons, this place has hands-down the BEST spray tans! Other places I would be orange, here it's very natural with a nice glow. I also have been getting my hair done by Megan for a little over a year now, and I'm always amazed and blown away by how awesome my hair looks every time. I've been coming here since Megan opened Malibu Hut. She's great at what she does. I would reccomend her place to anyone. She has great prices on the packages. There are always specials on their facebook for no reason at all. She has a good selection of lotions. She makes sure she only shelves lotions that have natural enhancers and nothing that will turn you orange. If you time it right she gets sick of looking at a certain one on her shelf and she'll mark it down. Megan rotates her bulbs before any go out on her beds. All of the beds give you color. She is very good about keeping them updated. She does hair too! Once again, very cheap prices. I havent gone to a different tanning salon in YEARS. Theres no point. read more

I absolutely love this place, i have been coming here for years and not once have i had a bad experience. The owner is just absolutely amazing at everything she does and treats each client like an old friend or family member. All of the staff is very friendly. Awesome prices on not only tanning, but anything offered to make yourself beautiful. Nothing too fancy, but its set up to make you feel more at home i feel.
