When the installers arrived with the stove, they had no clue how to install the stove beyond plugging it into the wall. They just left it to us to figure out what to do. We had to call an electrician to make some changes and someone else to cut out a space in the counter top. After it was all said and done we spent well beyond $100 to install it. The worst part is that I had to provide an invoice for proof of purchase in order to receive the rebate, but P. C. Richards could not even provide me with an invoice. I asked several times and they kept emailing a delivery notice instead and insisting that this was all the proof of purchase I needed. When I went online to provide my information for Frigidaire, it would not send. I tried numerous times on different devices and asked others to help, to no avail. The send button simply did not work. I finally sent my information with a copy of my credit card statement as proof of purchase, as well as the delivery notice in a certified mail. When I did not hear back, I searched for Frigidaire contact information, which was not easy to find. When I called Frigidaire's phone number, I was put on hold for nearly an hour. I spoke with someone who told me that I was denied because I did not have an invoice. I asked why I did not receive notice. They said they could not send me an email telling me that I was denied, because I had not emailed them with my email address. Now I am back to square one again, asking P. C. Richards for an invoice. I actually would have bought this oven without the promise of a rebate. I would have been happy with my oven, but I now feel tricked into buy it and then lied to. I feel like they never intended to honor this incentive anyway. When I called for the fourth time, I asked for the manager, who was not available and never returned my call.
